It seems like every year, there is some "generational prospect" at QB who gets hyped.

Sometimes they pan out, and sometimes they don't. It's very rare they actually match or exceed expectations.

The ONLY "generational" QBs i considered when they were in college were Peyton Manning and John Elway and maybe Andrew Luck.

I might be one of the few people who think Caleb Williams isn’t a generational prospect. He’s a bigger Kyler Murray.

I get him being # 1 since Murray went 1 but I see him being a good NFL QB. I know a lot will disagree

I actually agree.  I think the Drake Maye is as good a pro prospect as Caleb if not better.  This last draft everyone raving about how great Bryce Young was, I was thrilled when the Panthers picked him first and the Texans (living in Houston) got the bigger and battle tested CJ Stroud who has been a rock star.

I will go out on a limb after 5 measly games and state CJ Stroud will be considered a top 5 NFL QB in a few years.

And I never ever liked Kyler Murray.

I like that in the next 2 weeks we play the Giants and Patriots. It's an outstanding chance for guys like Williams and Elam to build some confidence. It will give McDermott an opportunity to tweak the defense to the new players in the lineup. Gives Von and Poona a chance to get back in the flow of the game.

Elam against Kirk/Ridley and Williams missing tackles on ETN in their first extended action of the season was a tough task.

Timing for the next two games is incredible.  It would be hard to pick 2 worse offense to go up against. neither QB is worth a damn and no one on  either team is a real threat offensively.

    I don’t recall a Diggs drop…

the pass at the end of the game that ended in an interception was worse than a drop.  Diggs is allegedly elite, you dont let a defender beat you for the ball if you are one of the top WRs in the ke4ague.

I am amazed more people arent mentioning this.  That alone was enough to turn the outcome of the game, Digggs cant lose that ball.

    Honestly, Thad Lewis wasn’t bad.

EJ wasn’t even that bad. He was given Nate Hackett, in his first nfl job, as an OC/QB coach, got hurt, and was constantly played with by Marrone.

he wasn’t the guy but that idiot  coaching staff put on a clinic hiw not to develop a young qb.

No, I think the honor for a bills player taught now not to develop a young QB was JP Losman.

You would have thought a DB who can actually cover or an OL would have been a bigger priority but it’s the Dolphins.

of course it is agree but this the real world, not madden,  suggest a “borderline “ free, OL right now available?

Unfortunately that still doesn't help them stop Josh Allen from dropping 48 on them.  Maybe they could have made it only a 21 point loss with him tho.

A lot of hubris in that comment.

i am not worried about what happened at home a few weeks ago, more concerned about what happens in the final week

of the season when we play In Miami.  As you know, injuries happen through the season and the addition of Claypol could end up being critical.

  8. This could be a home run for the Dolphins.

Has he been a lockeroom cancer, yes?

Did they pay much for him, almost nada.

And the key is McDaniel is an odd duck as a head coach to say the least.  Maybe in his idiot savant fashion he can make it work.

I've never heard anyone be mad at this play. It's a pretty normal football play.

That was until last Sunday when two NY Giants were hurt on that play.

NFL is going to outlule it, reinsert the old rule that you can't "assist" another person with the football.

I've been to a nice amount of stadiums in the NFL. Attending a NJG game is easily the most boring atmosphere I've been apart of. They barely cheer. I actually saw a man tell a female fan to sit down when she stood up for a defensive 3rd down play. I'm surprised they boo'd. It's like going to a NJJ game without the obvious idiots and a bit quieter.

    Agreed.

I have been to both Jets and Giants games and you are correct, Giant fans are dead.  Jets fans do have some live, unfortunately especially when the mind numbing J E T S JETS JETS JETS chant comes out.

No room for him anyway. And if that horrid defense is releasing him, it tells me he’s likely a scapegoat of some kind. Maybe he was caught on film dogging it and going through the motions as Miami put up 70 and the Bears had their most productive day.

Certainly possible but one really has to wonder WTF is going on in Sean Peyton's head.   Epic fall from grace especially post his Nathaniel Hackett comments.

Holy *****, Kyle Brandt actually is starting to ruin football for me.

Yeah, he could get an Oscar for over acting, he goes way overboard.  Knox's angry run versus the Bengals a few years ago "deserved" the over the top praise, this run was good., not incredible.

I seriously believe Buffalo as a city might have the most drunken population before noon this Sunday it's every had.

And I hate the 9:30 am start. I play football every Sunday morning. And I feel booze guilt if I start before noon. So I rush home after my game and throw a couple back and hopefully catch a good 4th quarter and a win.

LOL, you feel booze guilt so you rush home and throw a couple back?  I have to think about that.
