True Darnold is just living off the fumes of years past but I think Chris Jones deserves his spot and before anyone says anything Ed Oliver is not a NT.

I assume you meant Aaron Donald not Darnold.

Darnold aint never making any all pro teams imo.

The most consistent Bill and the unsung hero of the defense. Tackles well, covers well, always healthy, and instincts are phenomenal. If anybody deserves recognition it’s Taron Johnson. His pick 6 against Baltimore was among the top 10 plays in Bills history. Congrats

Agreed on the pick 6.  He is tied with George Teague at 101 yard int return in NFL playoffs.  That won that game, totally turned all the momentum.  Taron "knew" exactly where the ball was going.

2008 NE went 11-5 with Matt Cassel

Look at that year in detail and you discover the AFC east division had the easiest schedules in the league.  .

In their losses whenever the Pats played a good team, the Pats got rolled, badly.

Pats had a very weak schedule, just like the Bills did and even the Bills with terrible roster and QB managed  to go 7-9, two off the bill loses were to the pats so taking out the Bills Pats, Pats were 9-5 and the Bills were 7-7.

  4. That last hard knocks episode with the Dolphins started well but go nauseated with the Jerome Baker and his mother over the top melodrama.  After that there was no way there were going to call a penalty of Baker.

Who cares?  1) We won 2) Jerome Bakers got his, injury and  his season is over

The Bills actually dominated them in almost every statistical category. It should have been a blowout. But, of course, the offense kept shooting themselves in the foot with turnovers and blunders.

Play this game 10 times and I think the Bills win all of them. Everything that possibly could go wrong for Buffalo went wrong, and they still beat them.

I would agree with that except I think we win 9 out of 10..

McDermott got luck with that end of the first half blunder,  we left 3 points on the table.

mike mcdaniel isn't real. he's that gangley bug eyed kid from SNL playing the role of an NFL coach while pretending to be a 16 yr old kid in the nieghborhood wanting to be cool

the unnecessary cursing, the look and hands in pocket, the weird bug like movements with the hands, he's a joke and i'm glad he's finally getting exposed.

    Agree 100%.

I was thinking almost the same thing on  the excessive cursing.  Seems like a wimpy kid (yes I know he played football)  that tries to act tough with all the f bombs.

PS.  WTH was the knitting lesson at the end?

The Browns would have struggled to 6 wins if Watson stayed healthy

Think you are right.  I think Watson has lost his edge and may never get it back.

D Watson trade should go down as one of the worst in NFL history.

BUT you have to give them all the credit for getting Flacco, now they have a reasonable shot at making a playoff run.

I love how he complains about the bad read Josh made completing a 40 yarder to Diggs?  Is Kurt so negative on every QB or is this a Josh bias?

He says anticipate.  I guess anticipating Gabe does the right thing and catches the TD sin't part of the analysis?

And finally he too uses the example of the second down play, where there was an obvious PI not called on Knox and at the same time pointing out another reveiver open short of the goalline too.

I guess the 29 completions (he did say the 30th was a mistake by Allen) didn't require analysis?

The 40 yards to DIggs was, imo, 90% attributable to Diggs and was questonable decison but it worked out, I think Warner said something to the effect "Diggs cleaned it up", in other words was a questionable throw but Diggs made the play.

As any of us long time Bills fans can tell them, it all starts and ends with ownership. Chargers will be stuck in this cycle for a while.

    Agreed.

Tell you a team destined for continued mediocrity, Tennesse Titans.  As bad as Bud Addams was (a la Ralph Wilson at the end) his dughter is even more inept, firing Mike Vrable who will be picked up in a nano-second.  Followed closely behind are the Carolina Panthers and NY Jets.  Somehow the Browns have yet to blow up this year.

Agree about Babich as a rising -- but still unsung -- coaching commodity. Gave a press conference much earlier in the season that was VERY impressive, and obviously we're seeing serious progression from basically every single LB on the depth chart.

However, it's much more likely Eric Washington is "next up" in the internal defensive coaching pipeline. Feels to me like McDermott wouldn't bypass him for a more junior guy. Frazier, the DC, was also the Assistant Head Coach before Washington got promoted. Seems almost obvious who the next DC will be, if McD relinquishes the title.

Wasn't that his dad, though (the safeties coach in the best Hyde/Poyer years)?

I think you are correct re Washington and players seem to respect and enjoy playing for him.    If the Bills hire a minority as a coordinator dont we get something like a  supplemental third draft pick?

Fans are irrational, one of them said "I would never allow that to happen on my field but dont ask what I would do", yet another big man on a keyboard.  Pathetic Reponses well worth the read.  About one 1 in  5 admitted it was like a home field advantage for the Bills is why he did it and a few went so far as to actually say, next time beat the bills.

If they were smart they would go with Tua’s fifth year option and draft a smart college QB with limited arm talent to see what someone like that would look like with those weapons in training camp before committing big money to Tua. I’m hoping they commit to Tua long term instead, because as soon as they do they won’t be able to continue to afford the type of weapons that he needs to be successful.

They should sign Tua's former team mate, Mac Jones, that would be entertaining.
