  1. I believe I see the point you're trying to make. You could say the same thing by stating "Dan Marino needed to be better than Bob Griese in order to win the superbowl.". Kelly was a great QB but did not win the big game. If I remember correctly, a lot of Bills' player's performances came up short during the superbowl (see Bruce Smith, i.e.) If Kelly had such a great supporting cast and they win and lose as a team, then maybe the Bills as a team and the strength of their superbowl opponent had just as much to do with being 0-4 as Kelly's performance. I say that the Bills, not just Edwards, need to be better than those teams of the '90s.
  2. I guess I'll give it a shot. I believe our defense will hold you guys to under 100 yds on the ground and to 17 pts or less. Trent Edwards will have another efficient day (72% completion w/no ints) and Lynch will have his first 100 yd game. I'm also prediciting a special teams TD for the Bills. Bills 24 Dolphins 17
  3. All seriousness aside, I'm a bit concerned with our pass rush (or lack of) against San Diego. I believe LT can be reasonably contained by our D but if we can't get the heat on Rivers, I think it's gonna be a long game. Your thoughts?
  4. Any news?
  5. After watching his team cough up a turd, maybe he had to go vomit.
  6. Don't jinx it!
  7. Just enjoying the big victory, cooliero.
  8. The best part about the win is that my wife is going to let me wear my red plastic pig mask to bed tonight! Woo-hoo! There's gonna be some hot lovin' tonight!
  9. Oh, noes!!!!1!!1
  10. Bottom line: Obama won the nomination of his party whereas Palin was nominated by McCain. However, since this is a Bills message board, please move this to the appropriate board. Bills 23 Jags 13
  11. The other day, I saw a black t-shirt with white lettering on it that said I'd rather be snorting coke off a hooker's ass!.
  12. I live in Vancouver, Washington and my neighbor, who's a big Seahawks fan, and I are watching the game at a local sports bar. I am f*cking pumped up for this one! I may need to bring a box of tissue for all the Seattle fans. Buffalo 20 Seattle 13
  13. Maybe Trent is saving the deep ball display for the regular season.
  14. Oww........a piece of the sky just hit me on the head. I can't believe this topic was even started. Let's just wait and see what we've got before everyone starts peeing themselves. If you want something substantial to fret over, try this... OMG, what if my Feng Shui Kua number isn't really 9?
  15. Cute, son. Do you need a timeout or would you like to join the adults and converse about some football?
  16. I'm wondering if they intend on making him a pass-rushing OLB?
  17. I don't know how to tell you this, but your vagina is showing. About our draft, I wish we would've picked a stud TE or a dominating DE. Overall, I think we filled some critical needs. I think the Bills' front office could've done a better job if it weren't for those 31 other damn teams trying to do the same as us.
  18. Based on what these two draft picks have done in college, I'd say so far, so good. If we picked a good TE or some D-line help, I'd be happier than a counselor at an all-girls' college Lingerie Anonymous meeting.
  19. 6'5½" receiver? That'll work!
  20. I'm not going to pee in the punch on this pick. The Bills need several things this year, CB being one of them. Since he was the highest rated CB, the CB prospects were kind of thin this year, and there was a run defensive players (thanks to the Giants defense shutting down Brady in the SB) before our pick, Leodis McKelvin made sense. It would be interesting to see him and McGee in the endzone returning kickoffs together. Besides, his first name sounds kind of like I know, that sounded kind of gay. But not as gay as . Let's just watch the rest of the draft unfold before we start jumping out of windows, m'kay?
  21. Which one do you like? I can see all of them being possible.
  22. a catch from 1987 that I think most Bills' fans will remember. Enjoy.
  23. IMHO, I'd be happy if the Bills used their 1st rounder on whichever prospect was worth the 11th pick. The exception, of course, would be to not draft the few positions we don't need a 1st rounder, like RB or QB. If their 1st rounder happens to be DE, WR, C, LB, or CB, so be it. As long as that person was the best available of all of our need positions. No shat, you say? Well, as simple a philosophy as it is, some teams can't seem to follow it.
  24. Albert Haynesworth, the face stomper.
