  1. Deep pass attempts by EJ last year were few and far between. There could be several reasons for this. The main one, IMO, is EJ wasn't recognizing the defensive scheme quick enough to determine whether an attempt should be made. That indecisiveness was what was holding our offense back last season.
  2. Born in Cheektowaga in 1964. Moved to TX in '77. Followed the Sabres in the '70s but not the Bills until '88. Moved back to Buffalo in 1989. Attended the division clinching game against Miami, week 15 in 1990, and watched one of the uprights being thrown over the top of the upper deck. Was in attendance for the comeback game against the Oilers with my dad and a stripper from Club Diamond Dust. Attended the coldest playoff game in Bills' history against the Raiders in Jan. 1994. You know, you just get hooked.
  3. If a buyer that wants to move the team offers the most money and the Wilson estate sells to them, how do you react as a Bills fan?
  4. I was correcting you, who said when Fitz took a hit by an AZ safety. Trent took the hit you spoke of. I wasn't nominating Trent. Hence, the research comment. I did, however, nominate Cordy Glenn for this thread. He is correctly rated, IMO. Why you would be comparing Cordy Glenn, a left tackle (LT) to Lawrence Taylor or LaDainian Tomlinson is also beyond me.
  5. Trent Edwards got crushed by Adrian Wilson in week 5 at AZ back in 08, not Fitz. Research beforehand does wonders on this board. To answer your question, the most correctly rated Bills player on the current roster is probably Cordy Glenn. He is not the ultimate LT, but he does a standup job.
  6. On offense, I'll go with CJ. To me, he's nothing more than an Eric Metcalf/Reggie Bush-type player. For all the hype about his speed and elusiveness, he can't hold a candle to Freddie J. On defense, it's Kyle Williams. If he were to get down to about 270 lbs, he'd make a great MLB. But as a DT, he's so fixated on disrupting a play in the backfield that he puts himself out of position. Call me crazy, but that's what I see.
  7. We should've drafted Haloti Ngata instead of Wipe-ner.
  8. I told my wife that I must take her to the falls, obviously, the broadway market on a Saturday morning, to Louie's TX red hots, and for pizz and a fish fry. Thanks for the suggestions.
  9. What about Leonardi's Pizzeria in Amherst?
  10. Thanks for the info. I haven't lived in Buffalo since '95 and I'm searching for updates on places to eat.
  11. Not only will this be her first trip to Buffalo, it will be her first Bills game. I can't wait. I need advice on the best fish fry and pizza places to visit while we're there.
  12. Pegula. $1,082,000,000 (Jan 8, 2000 reference)
  13. I still like Jeff Tuel. I think he could be groomed into a damn good QB.
  14. This ^. That was the play that cost us the game. Mark Ingram breaking multiple tackles on 3rd and long in the third quarter. That one hurt.
  15. I don't trust the guy. He would move the team in a heartbeat as he is a businessman first and non-native Buffalonian.
  16. No ill will towards SJ13 but he was having some injury issues. Both sides will be better for this move.
  17. I guarantee the first three picks will be: Clowney, Robinson, and Mack.
  18. Here's the thing: If we stay at the ninth spot, there is still going to be plenty of great players to chose from.
  19. I'm picking all the home teams.
  20. Since beating the Steelers in the Super Bowl in '95, the Cowpies post season record is an abyssmal 2-7.
  21. My biggest issue with SJ is he gets hurt alot. Between his durability and dropped passes, he has dependability issues and this team doesn't need that.
