  1. Ugh, we should have many more points right now. Leaving too much on the field
  2. Our D-Line looks improved. When Pittsburgh goes empty backfield, they better throw it fast.
  3. Allen is too juiced up. All his throws beyond 5 yards have extra on them. Calm down kid, you got paid
  4. I get the point about Brieda, but he does offer something different from our other backs with his speed. I don't want to see him running between the tackles because he seems woefully ineffective doing that thus far. However, Daboll has proven that if you can do at least one thing well, he can scheme a play for you. The trick for Brieda tho is to do enough to not only make the team, but also be active on game days. So far, I'm not seeing it. Would be nice if he could maybe return kicks or be a gunner. He seems as one dimensional as it gets.
  5. Nah, surely the Riddick family own at least one
  6. I have a navy blue Losman, from his second year. Really liked the guy and pulled for him.
  7. Oh no, taken down already. I was excited as this was the first season I have memories of the team.
  8. Wondering what the NFL's black market is... is that like when you trade for a guy illegally? Like Arizona doesn't realize we acquired him? But to answer the question, with how we drafted and how we are about to get a lot younger and cheaper at the edge position after this season, adding a higher priced, aging veteran is counterproductive. We can't pay Josh, Edmunds and others if we bring in players like this. When you think about how much we spent on the lines last season and how we drafted all this younger, cheaper talent I think the last thing we need is someone like Jones. You're thinking pre McBeane era Bills who might have brought in a name for the novelty and to sell tickets.
  9. KC is hoarding O-Linemen and we are beefing up our pass rush. It's on!
  10. This year's and next year's first rounder doesn't even get you in the top 10. It would take 3 first rounders (since they'll probably all be late 1sts) plus a day 2 pick to even start the discussion. Hard pass. The only position you even consider making a move like that for is a quarterback.
  11. Traded down a bunch with several teams with a focus on getting more 3rd and 4th round selections. Sometimes I gambled a guy I wanted would still be there when I moved down- sometimes it backfired, a few times I lucked out. In round 1, grabbed a corner who can get on the field and help his rookie year and should be the starter opposite Tre before too long. I traded the 2nd rounder in to the very early 3rd round and then down a little further and thankfully my pass rusher was still there. I feel like Tryon has the highest ceiling of the day 2 options. Do I think he'll be there at 76 for real, probably not. In the later 3rd I went with the popular future Star replacement at the 1-technique, Tyler Shelvin. I used my next 3rd rounder for the tight end out of Notre Dame, Tremble. With my first of three 4th rounders, I grabbed some interior line depth that could develop as a starter down the road, some safety depth and a future slot presence but present return man in Dazz Newsome. With my last pick I opted for LB depth and special teams help. I also picked up Denver's 4th rounder in 2022. The simulation kept offering me trades and I kept biting, but I feel like this went about as well as it could.
  12. Glad he's re-signing. Seems like there's been Bills news every day this past week!
  13. There were little bits and pieces in the season or two before this but the first clear Bills memory was the wild card game in 81 against the Jets where Bill Simpson picked off Richard Todd at the end to save it. The Bills had a good team that year and actually gave the eventual AFC champion Bengals a better game the next week than the Chargers did in the AFC Championship the week after.
  14. Seeing Phillips involved in a lot of solid plays so afar today. Good for him.
  15. There goes Daboll getting cute again. Luckily that didn't end up in a fumble.
  16. The bottom line is the Colts played the best half they probably could and they are down 4.
  17. Seeing that cutout of Pancho in the stands today is all the feels.
  18. Antonio Williams just looks like a running back, a good thick frame with a burst, hard to tackle. I'd like to see more of him next year
  19. Throw was going to Becker the TE but he fell or was knocked down. Either way, a soft armed throw like that into traffic is never a good thing
