BIG evidence that these trade deadline acquisitions are almost becoming necessary for contenders. There’s a reason everyone seems to make one year to year.

Why? Comments like this are just doomer nonsense. Last year was our chance. 13 seconds. This year is our chance. Tons of injuries/mental fatigue. We’ll see what happens. Next year will be no different. If we avoid serious injuries, we have as good a shot as anyone with our 23/24 roster.

Honestly, the Chiefs are just in our head because we haven’t beaten them when it matters. Bengals are far scarier. They look like a legit team peaking into the playoffs. Bills and Chiefs just d**k around on offense too much.

I love the guy, but I can’t even argue this. Allen is hurting us, a lot, on offense. Obviously he’s elite, but he refuses to take easy yards and goes for the jugular all the time. Teams are using his hyper aggression against us. It’s very obvious.

Im not writing us off, we could hit another gear in the playoffs .. I almost expect us to do that. That being said … The defensive scheme is sooo soft sometimes, and that’s been a thing for far too long. Also, our offense is just predictable. It’s honestly the most boring exciting offense ever. Sheer talent from Allen makes it exciting, but we are so easy to forecast. oh, close to the end zone in a big moment?.. Of course we’ll launch to the end zone three times with 2 timeouts and plenty of time.

It’s honestly disgusting that as soon as we got to the 15, you just knew they wouldn’t be normal with two timeouts. Three straight end zone shots. It’s all so predictable.

No idea .. every game is different. Does it make you feel better to say this? Yea .. that look bad lately. We all know. They also don’t get blown out. But we’re supposed to assume Cinci would do that night what nobody else can?

Really hard to get excited about this team heading into the playoffs. Nothing looks good lately except the run game of all things.

Two timeouts and we keep launching to the end zone.

At some point this team will be judged by playoff performance and not just regular season. I don’t think he’s on any kind of hot seat, but if our defense gets shredded leading to our demise, I don’t think he’s not warm.

Yup .. that’s been what we’ve seen lately. If that’s going to be the case, don’t worry about the big plays and heat up the pocket.

The philosophy needs to change in the playoffs. Can’t just let teams have free entry into the red zone all the time and then finally try to play defense.

I give them some grace for this game .. but this defense has drives where they barely compete. Even more frustrating is the offense continuing to look like a struggle bus.

It’s so gross to watch them play and then watch us. Scheme/Coaching is SO evident.

Because they only have to cover the intermediate/deep parts of the field. Allen refuses to take easy yards quickly. By the time he checks down, they can react.

OL not having its greatest day so far … Also, we continue to have zero quick/easy plays.

Pats Defense making a lot of plays

Yes, they did. TD and FG on first two drives. The point I’m making is that they have an early game issue.

Another frustrating thing about the Bengals game ending after 1.5 drives .. I really wanted to see if it’s a legit defensive issue or our typical 1st quarter garbage. Their high powered offense wouldve been a good look.

Chicago did the same two weeks ago. It is what it is. But it also doesn’t seem to be team specific.

I mean, agreed .. but not the greatest position to be in going into the playoffs just spotting teams TD drives in the first quarter. Happened in Chicago. Happened against Cinci. Just happened now. Been happening all year. Really frustrating.

If Miami gets back Tua and the Ravens get back Lamar, that reinforces just how massive of a gift KC received. No easy WC games with the options for Division winners being Chargers, Ravens, Dolphins. Now if Lamar and/or Tua don’t play .. those teams are a joke.
