  1. Well there’s that too! 😉
  2. A few quick observations: 1. QB seems to be the leading indicator of overall roster strength. 2. The Rams are a mess just a couple years out from going all in. 3 The Jets defense, for all its accolades, seems to have a bunch of holes. 4. The Bills roster, for all the debate on this Board, is shown to be the best across the board with no glaring holes.
  3. Closer than you know: They’re used to be a cartoon that showed the various stages of a construction project. This particular stage, along with the final ribbon cutting, was titled “The Congratulations for the Non Participants” and we’d all say ‘who the heck is that?’ when the long line of these guys/gals would step up to the podium and proclaim to the crowd how they were so essential to the process. 😂
  4. Isn’t it obvious? dHop didn’t want any part of OTA Phase 3. Anyone know how he feels about Phase 4? 😉
  5. You are correct. Religion is indeed complicated....but Faith is actually quite simple.
  6. I’ll simplify it for you. Jesus was/is God’s version of the Great Reset.
  7. Is his name Italian or Hispanic? In Southern California the Di would be Italian. And De would be Spanish. In either event, NOBODY doesn’t know how it’s pronounced.
  8. Thanks Hawk…well said I tried to boil it down to one sentence. 😉
  9. I think the comments encapsulate why the draft is a crap shoot. All of these guys are athletically gifted coming out of college and most were that way their entire life. But when they turn professional they don’t all understand what kind of commitment is required to be good at your craft. And as pretty much any employer will tell you, the same can be said for just about every other college major as well.
  10. Now THIS made me laugh! Well done SUNY! 😂
  11. In what way couldn’t he handle it? He just said the question was silly. Unlike Obama was, the Governor should be no stranger to the national media. Not by a long shot. If you slow the “R” hatred for a second and listen to the actual question, you’ll understand that reporter CLEARLY wanted to take a cheap jab at the Governor’s ethnicity. Pathetic!
  12. Morning SUNY! He didn’t say the question was hard. He said it was silly. Which it was.
  13. Maybe so. Then there’s no need to ask him how the sitting Governor of Florida pronounces his obviously ethnic last name then, right?
  14. On the contrary, we had a blast! (And yes, we lost that day.) We were chatting it up with fellow Bills fans the entire walk to and from the Wembley station. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to two of the 90’s era Super Bowls and the entire London week and game day was as close of an atmosphere to anything I’ve experienced. Thanks for the Tottenham travel tips. We’ve been to the stadium grounds but not on a game day. We went via overground. I’ll definitely look into the Seven Sisters station idea. 👍
  15. Now let’s see if the FBI took a sharpie marker to the entire body of the document. 😉
  16. Morning Tibs: Mr Mayo believes that ten second clip is an example of what exactly? Geez…these folks are literally terrified that DeSantis will do well. And that says nothing about the blatantly racial undertone of the question that the reporter asked the Governor.
  17. Morning Tim Good luck with Summer School. I only have one question: What does this have to do with Donald Trump? (Kidding!) 😉
  18. I looked it up . In 2015 Trump said that he doesn’t focus on asking God for forgiveness. He said that he instead focuses on doing better the next time. I have literally no idea why you believe that’s a watershed moment. He understands and acknowledges that he’s a sinner but instead of dwelling on his past sins (which I assume God is obviously aware of) he puts his focus on personal improvement (which I assume God would find admirable).
  19. I’ll try. Once again, I’m really not trying to be a jerk. We were having a nice faith based conversation and then….boom…up popped Trump. As usual on here. 🙄
  20. And ….we’ve officially jumped the shark. Have a great evening Bud.
  21. Not trying to take this conversation sideways. Of the two of us, I’m not the one who started putting a litmus test on politicians. I’m assuming you also believe that Trump called the nazis ‘fine people’ and recommended that we all ‘drink bleach’? Neither of which is true. (Thanks for the faith discussion while it latest though.)
  22. And the current President is a proponent of unlimited abortion. The Trump example is about him. The Biden example is about society as a whole. Once again, I’m not the slightest bit interested in what some politician thinks about his/her own need for forgiveness. (I’ll take your word for it on Trumps comment but with a HUGE grain of salt, considering how often he’s been misquoted or misinterpreted.)
  23. When I say 'honestly' it indeed means honestly. But as I said, I don't generally vote on the personal faith stylings of the people running for office. (I rarely know their faith, nor do I think it's anyone's business.) I elect them to represent ME, not THEMSELVES.
  24. I am indeed a man of incredible faith. I honestly don’t recall the Trump comment but in any event I’m not electing a national pastor. If I was, there would be few if any people in Washington DC. 😉
  25. Shaw, the Tube system is so efficient that it makes little difference where you stay around Central London. Trains come every three minutes to each station…guaranteed. My only suggestion would be to pick a hotel somewhat close to a station for ease of ALL your weekend commuting. You can get everywhere in Central London within minutes. As far as leaving the game, the Wembley experience was utterly amazing. They emptied that entire 80,000 seat stadium in a matter of minutes after the game. Incredible!
