  1. Ya looks like we have ACE 2 receptor in our lungs, heart, intestines, kidneys. And some other places. Just wondering if get covid19 in heart cause of ACE2 (heart failure). Does it count like that or some other failure? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angiotensin-converting_enzyme_2 Angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2)[5] is an enzyme attached to the outer surface (cell membranes) of cells in the lungs, arteries, heart, kidney, and intestines.[6][7] ACE2 lowers blood pressure by catalysing the cleavage of angiotensin II (a vasoconstrictor peptide) into angiotensin (1–7) (a vasodilator).[8][9][10] ACE2 also serves as the entry point into cells for some coronaviruses.[5] The human version of the enzyme is often referred to as hACE2.[11] ACE2 counters the activity of the related angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) by reducing the amount of angiotensin-II and increasing Ang(1-7)[12] making it a promising drug target for treating cardiovascular diseases.[13][14
  2. Ya kind of does feel like it.
  3. Wow gotta hate people who hurt girls or women. Lots people around here ( I live)like Biden. Took me short time check him out and said no thanks.
  4. Don't know if been posted but this is wonderful from President Trump
  5. That was awful when said happy talk when Acosta asked. Nothing is happy about this coronavirus. For everyone.
  6. He said the virus can lead to heart attack or inflammation called myocarditis, and it can stress the heart. He said some patients with cardiovascular issues resulting from the virus have not shown other common symptoms. “What’s been very surprising is that there is a group of patients who actually present with heart symptoms and no fever or cough or respiratory symptoms,” Shishehbor said https://fox8.com/news/coronavirus/local-doctors-say-they-are-seeing-increasing-impact-of-covid-19-on-the-heart/ More info in article. Ya my niece in the hospital usly post in PPP. Was on a ECMO. Off now I guess following my sister facebook. First test was neg but took second test still pending. Myocarditis. She is now 6 age young. Unconscious. But getting better. Everything still a unknown as of right now if covid19 or not.
  7. Cassandra has just been disconnected from the ecmo machine. She is breathing and circulating the oxygen through her body on her own now. She is still going to be unconscious for a few days, but it is getting better. My sister posted again. Just wondering if they do work on to figure what type of virus by blood or something if not covid19. Sorry everyone if I said off ECMO get different things (maybe looks like now possibly for good) Wish I could go see her. My mother not the best shape and my brother as well. Usly have to take by phone or facebook to understand.
  8. CLEVELAND (WJW) – The impact of COVID-19 on the lungs has been well documented, but local doctors say they are seeing increasing impacts of the virus on the heart. Doctors say people with underlying conditions, including heart disease and hypertension are at a higher risk of death. “If you have heart disease, you’re no more likely to get it, but you have a great stake in preventing yourself from getting it,” said Cleveland Clinic heart surgeon Dr. Marc Gillinov. “If your heart is already weakened by heart disease and you get COVID-19 and it affects the heart, that’s a dire situation.” Dr. Mehdi Shishehbor, Director of the University Hospitals Cardiovascular Interventional Center, has treated coronavirus patients and said about one in five experience cardiovascular impacts. “If COVID affects the heart, we really need to be very careful with those patients, and they need to be monitored very carefully because of the risk of death,” Shishehbor said. He said the virus can lead to heart attack or inflammation called myocarditis, and it can stress the heart. Shishehbor said underlying cardiovascular disease increases the risk of death from coronavirus by two to three times, and if patients have markers that the virus has damaged the heart, the risk of death increases by seven to eight times. He said some patients with cardiovascular issues resulting from the virus have not shown other common symptoms. “What’s been very surprising is that there is a group of patients who actually present with heart symptoms and no fever or cough or respiratory symptoms,” Shishehbor said. https://fox8.com/news/coronavirus/local-doctors-say-they-are-seeing-increasing-impact-of-covid-19-on-the-heart/
  9. Always BBF. Always InItTogether. Thanks buddy and everyone.
  10. My sister posted yesterday. Might talk to my sister later today. Haven't heard anything much. Trying to give space. Yesterday she took a second covid-19 test. Not sure much else going on. Update on Cassandra! and I got to see her today at Buffalo Children's. She is looking better. She is at 50-60% working on her own and the rest is the ECMO machine. Doctors are deciding to slowly dial down the machine so we can make sure she is able to function on her own. Everything is healing like it should and brain activity looks good. Hopefully by next week we will be able to interact with her. We don't know yet what type of virus did this and perhaps we might not never know. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers so she heals. Thank you for all the outreach, we really appreciate it.
  11. The tricky part is. The heart has ace 2 reacpter like lung and intestines. Hapless posted in a different post here but for lungs and intestines mainly.. Some people died mycardio. Highly not a great chance but there has been lots. Maybe 5 percent guessing.Just wondering my niece as well. Still a mystery in a way. SARS and MERS had lots of mycardio deaths.
  12. Really think this can be tricky here. Let's someone has a year left to live. But covid-19 got to them first. Understand why but soo many complex are too sure. Just looking from all sides.
  13. Ya that's amazing. I wouldn't remember all of that. Poor memory for me. That's pretty cool. Kind of like being here. Like seeing everyone. Plus support President Trump lots more. Can learn all the info people say (and truth) but poorly telling others. Even more so in person.Learned lots from people in PPP. Plus a good time here with everyone lol.
  14. https://wgr550.radio.com/articles/news/campbell-fighting-covid-19-is-a-surreal-lonely-experience Campbell: Fighting COVID-19 is a surreal, lonely experience Former Bills tight end Mark Campbell joined Howard and Jeremy on Thursday to talk about his experience fighting the coronavirus The coronavirus has already affected millions of people around the world, and the number of cases in the United States continues to rise by the day. Here locally in Erie County, the coronavirus has already affected thousands of people with more than 1,400 active cases across the region. The positive news is that 360 people have already recovered from COVID-19, but 51 people have unfortunately died as a result of the virus. Throughout the sports world, a number of leagues have already suspended or canceled their seasons, while many major sporting events have been postponed to a later date or already been canceled. The National Hockey League and the Buffalo Sabres continues to wait out the situation and evaluate if a return to action for the 2019-20 season is even possible. Meanwhile, the National Football League and the Buffalo Bills are proceeding with the upcoming NFL Draft, which is set to take place virtually from Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 26. More and more every day, people around the community being affected by COVID-19, whether it be directly or indirectly with family members or other friends or acquaintances dealing with the virus. Former NFL tight end Mark Campbell played 10 seasons in the NFL, spending three of those years with the Bills from 2003 to 2005. The 44-year-old is currently living in Michigan, but is also dealing with a personal battle against the coronavirus. Campbell was hospitalized for a total of five days, but he is back home and under self-quarantine for another week. Campbell took some time on Thursday to join Howard Simon and Jeremy White to share his experience with fighting the coronavirus, and what his ordeal has been like throughout the process. Here is some of what he had to say: Campbell on his days leading up to hospitalization for the coronavirus: "I basically was going through, what I thought to be, the flu process. I did go to the hospital when this whole thing began, I took my temperature and it was 102.6. So I went to the hospital, and here in Michigan, they're doing these drive-thrus where they kind of screen you. They basically said that you probably have it, we're not going to test you, but go home and quarantine. I did that, went through all those typical flu symptoms. "Day 5 was when I started to get, what people are referring to as that dry cough. It's really just kind of this nuisance cough. It's not like I'm coughing up or anything like that, it's like an unproductive cough. Truthfully, right around Day 7 or 8 I should have gone back to the hospital, but I kept thinking that I'll turn the corner and I didn't. By Day 12, I was really laboring to breathe. I could breathe in and out, my lungs were still working, but the difference was that I felt like I couldn't get relief, I couldn't get oxygen. That was at the point where I [realized] I couldn't play with this, you can't tough this thing out."
  15. Gotta feel for as well people lost there jobs cause of covid-19
  16. America has the most test done. While noone else close to them. 2,226,116 USA (highest) to Germany 1,317,887. As of right now.
  17. Good post but disagree part on WHO. There suckered up kissing China (ccp) butt while rest of the world suffered. Like President Trump said. Time to investigate and possibly stop paying them.
  18. People should be uniting coming together and helping people fight this Chinese virus. Not be cheerleader for death and doom. Agree man.
  19. One thing for sure. CCP and WHO like President Trump said need to be investigation. WHO is like mouth piece for China. Pretty sad by them.
  20. Agree with you man. I'm going to bed drunk, worried. Hate how world nowdays. Going to sleep before saying something stupid. You're really intelligent around here man. Many others as well. Before myself saying anything stupid. Night just a pissed off guy lots of things..........
