Maybe this was covered already but if the Jets are found negligent in ignoring his health (he is saying 3 doctors told him to have surgery) and they cut him, IMO the NFL shouldn’t give his cut contract full cap relief next year. Otherwise teams like Belicheat will figure out some way to game the system and it might be easier to cut someone, get sued and pay an injury settlement instead of eating a cap number.

On offense it’s the need for Singletary. Bradham is their best cover LB. If it’s going to be windy we need some RB passes to go for big gains. On defense we all know we need to stop their TEs. Not sure how they will game plan that if Milano isn’t a full go.

As the week progresses I keep thinking this game does mean a ton, but not to this year’s fortunes. Just mainly to the fans and the media. Fans are worried about some October collapse and the media still thinks we are overrated. A win dispels both of those.

When you have 40% new starters(almost all offense) this year, bringing up last year’s record is irrelevant. We added 20+ players who didn’t play here last year, so last year’s games meant nothing to them. They don’t even know Nate Peterman! Talent means more than culture and we have more of both this year.

He should have just run into the crowd and hit someone with the crown of his helmet and then he wouldn’t have gotten a fine....

The problem is no one is going to trade a great 25 year old WR. That’s why the FA list In 2020 looks like Green, Gordon, and a bunch of nothing. The Bills need waves of weapons so sign Green to a 3 yr deal and draft WRs. If some draftee blows the doors out then you make another deal later, but waiting around for some picks to become stars at WR when we will be picking in the 22+ range is not a sure fire plan. The reason I would give a shot and trade a 2nd for Green is look at our current 2nd rounder this year. Not really very good and they are rotating him because the staff has figured that out. So the cost of a second isn’t really mortgaging the future. Which is more likely..... a superstar returning to 85% of his prior form or a 45th overall pick becoming a superstar ?

15 yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct for the insult to the board. Not everyone has to think the same. I watch individual matchups all the time and <gasp> Kyle Williams last year and Star this year were getting knocked backward at the point of attack regularly. The term space eater should mean you hold the line of scrimmage against two guys consistently and if you aren’t getting doubled you are making plays to push the line backward. Have you ever seen Star push a play into the backfield or force a runner outside? I truly can’t remember many. His price tag should carry more with it. Teams seem to doubling Oliver now.
