You’re forgetting one other likely possibility....
Well yeah. Last week he was throwing those picks on the move or on his back foot. lol.
So im thinking the more calm downfield throws.

the current mix is okay, but once Singletary returns I think we run more.
Would also love to see some long ball connect (what happened to the accuracy there. Some WR's have had TD's with a more accurate ball).
Also, more Knox and Sweeney on short routes. That's as good as a running play as well.
Every single time I have seen Josh throw a deep ball this season it has no loft.
He throws a dart 45 yards down the field....so there is no room for WR adjustment. Either the ball is placed and the WR catches it or its overthrown.
Needs to put air under the ball and let the WR be able to run it down or make an adjustment to catch it.

I was thinking at the success weve had on the ground.
We are throwing more than I think we should....but do we open up games throwing so the run can succeed the way it does?
Anyone that reviews games notice this and is that a factor in the success of the run game?

He was panicked from the get go.
I think he gave the pats D a little too much respect.

MUCH IMPROVED from last year. A way bigger step than i expected.
I had the Bills out of the race by week 10. Expected worse Oline play. Didnt expect Allen would improve that drastically in the short game.
-
I honestly dont think so. Allen was comin in hot. You have to hit him hard when Allen wanted to strong arm his way for the 1st.
It just happened to be a bad hit. He should be punished for it 100%...but I dont think hes looking to end careers there.
-
I was worked up yesterday because you can just see how panicked he played.
He was 100% rattled and just took any one on one he saw.
Credit to Billy B again....I dont remember seeing any WRs getting separation. Josh was looking around for targets a lot.

100% he failed today. You can see the fear and the poor decision making from the get go.
Way too much respect for the Pats.
Lets hope he learns to not get in his own head like that against stronger opponents

Hows Allens accuracy now?
I remember playing for 1 day...he couldnt throw an accurate pass if he tried...Stopped playing the game after that.

Black out at the strip club.

That would make sense if we had zero clue about the past history of Brady and Bill. If Brady and Bill were new to the league id get it
We know what they do and how long theyve been doing it for.
You cant just say the past doesnt count...because theyve done just as well with equal or worse situations.
-
I honestly agree.
I just picture their defense getting tons of pressure. Ending our drives and Brady marching down the field.
Pats have made quick work of everyone theyve played.
We might slow them down...but I would bet the farm on the Pats Sunday.

I think there were about 7 1st or 2nd year QBs that played really well Sunday.
We entering an ERA of great QBs?
Or is defending that much harder now?
-
I think whatever we do wont be enough to win.
lol. Stupid pats.
-
I hate seeing hero ball fail....but i accept it because of how many more times we see it work.
We are close to being a very good offense. It does feel like something is missing. A big time WR to throw up 50/50 balls? A healthy Singletary become a 3 down back?
Just bigger plays? -
Lol ehhh. I mean i think this is a great start for the Bills just based on how we did last year.
Glad to get those wins.
Lets see if we can play well against some of the tougher teams.

Honestly...he might leave if they take away the tables and drinking pregame.

What's confusing about it? Yeah it's a cool story about Pancho Billa, but is Kelly supposed to meet with every ill fan?
Half of the posters here probably had a family member who was a long time super fan that dealt with a life threatening illness. Should Kelly meet them all too?
Nope...but he probably should have met him.

well stretching would seem like a good sign right?
come on i got fantasy football implications here
dont expect him this week at all to be fantasy relevant.

Im trying to think back over the years. I just remember Dalton having some really good games against us.
If this isnt a trap game, then i dont know what is.

What are some things even the optimistic fans among us are pleasantly surprised by after two weeks? I'll throw out a few:
-- Daboll's scheming and playcalling
-- Bojo!
-- Lee Smith (and overall TE play)
-- Shaq Lawson (and overall DL depth)
-- Feliciano
-- productivity of John Brown (did anyone expect 14 catches in two weeks?)
Discuss.
John Brown was my biggest surprise. I actually took him in a lot of my fantasy leagues for the upside.
But what impresses me the most.. is that there isnt a route he cannot run. Hes effective everywhere on the field and thats fantastic.

If the Giants play well...I can see them beating us.

Would be nice if he did. Cause he seemed pretty confident about that flag.

Seems obvious we need to run more but should we?
