We got two favorable calls for us at the end there.
I agree with Ravens fans on this one. Maybe the refs were paying us back for some of the earlier things.

An improvement on the line. A strong WR 1 and more touch on deep balls.
This team could beat anyone.

With Hodges, the Steelers have beaten the Bengals, Browns, and Cardinals. All three of those games had a final margin that was within one score. That's hardly "on a roll." Hodges hasn't faced a defense even in the same general universe as ours.
Id say thats pretty impressive for a duck hodges.

@pittsburgh, primetime.
They got a tough defense.
On paper we win this game outright.
Steelers are on a roll though, they are no walk in the park.
Last time we played a game against a Steelers back up QB to lock ourselves in the playoffs...Tommy Maddox and fast Willie Parker. I still hurt over that game. lol

Had made the right throws and he was decent with accuracy. What else can you ask for from a dual threat qb.

Im not particularly worried about Josh. He took the one on ones when he got them...he just has to do better in throwing them.
A couple of times Josh should have anticipated the blitz.
What i did not like is how long it too for us to start adjusting versus the blitz. We had 10 days and you didnt draw up a screen or quick passes until the 2nd half?

The difference between Allen and Jackson.
Jackson is much better of a runner and has been pretty accurate with this throws this year. Hes improved. The offense created for Jackson is very very strong. Now that Jackson can find the 1 on 1 matchups and put the ball in a good spot makes it almost impossible for defenses to stop him.
Allen. From year 1 to year 2...Allen is becoming the signal caller. Everything he did poorly last year he improved on (greatly). Short game was weak. Its now a strength. Hes running the offense. It looks like he has full command of it. His poise in the pocket...night and day change. Audibles...making presnap calls, taking the time to look at defenses. Hes really trying to be a complete QB. I honestly expect him to be calling his own plays soon.
What im saying is that right now... There is room for growth for Allen because he can be whatever he needs to be when its needed.
While I think this might be the peak for Jackson....i mean its a pretty awesome peak and its good enough to win a superbowls so im not trying to take shots.

Im around the 20% area.
I think they beat us 4 out of 5 times. Just need one of those complete games like Dallas and Lamar needs to be off throwing wise.

Just wondering how we feel about Sunday.

Its not an easy position period.

Garrett has been hated for years. I see it as a "grass is greener on the other side" kind of situation. Garrett seems like a good coach to me. Not the best in the NFL, but you can definitely do worse.
I predict that when he is fired the Cowboys will go through a few years of bad coaches. At that point Cowboys fans will wish they had Garrett back.
Seems so simple to fire your coach and then hire someone better. Bills fans know it isn't so simple. Finding a good coach is almost as hard as finding a good QB.
I honestly dont think so. That is a prime coaching gig. Thats a good football team.
Im sure there are some coaches out there licking their chops.

Hodges was way better when he stepped in the 1st time. Looked more poised and threw the short pass better. Maybe lack of arm strength?
Not sure why they stuck with Rudolph.

I think we would really deserve that top 10 if we can get this win against the Boys.

I think what happens is a lot of defenses play a shallow zone, and they try to beat that zone by about 5yds or so. When they have 3rd-8 I feel like they usually hit a 12-15yd strike
Good eye. Most defenders play for the sticks on 3rd and long. Allen throws past it.

Allen has been converting 3rd and long since his 1st game.
Its really a crazy stat man. Ive never ever felt like a punt was a sure thing with a 3rd and 15 and under.

I’d probably throw in the Steelers before the Pats* (because, well, I’ve been paying attention the last 20 years), but I think we CAN beat anyone left on the schedule.
Lol...nah its time. Beat the Pats.

1 and done.
If they can beat the Cowboys, Jets and Pats. I can see this team being a real contender this year.

So maybe understand that about yourself and think twice about whether or not your concerns are based in facts or are a product of your ultra-productive worry glands.
Like, i have a similar type issue. I'm ultra powerful and strong. I have to watch myself in crowded situations because one false move and i can amputate limbs with a karate chop.
So sometimes i just stay home.
You can choose to "stay home" in the sense that you don't post every time you start thinkin' like a scaredy cat.
I certainly will stay at home now for fear of karate chops from random incredibly powerful guy.
Id rest easy if wed have beat any of the tough teams this year.

You were awfully worried THIS week, too. So there's that.

I think the Ravens are the last team i want to have 10 days to prepare for.
Im of the notion that even with 50 days to prepare we will get absolutely stomped by the Ravens.
Rather use the 10 days on a more winnable game.

With one more victory, McDerms ties the legendary Dick Jauron for fifth on the Bill's all time wins list.
Next up would be Wade Phillips, 5 away.

actually using Motor made the offense much better and more balanced. Finally it seemed like the right plays were called at the right time, and the execution was much better as a result.
Two games Daboll upstairs...two games the offense has looked more clean.

We got national respect on Thanksgiving. People think the Bills are turning the corner.
Win at Pit Sunday night and we are in.
National game.
The Bills have to win this one boys. No more of this poor protection and missed deep throws against the blitz.
Time for the offense to start rolling for 4 quarters.
