Why isn't Baltimore concerned about these things with Lamar Jackson?
We've seen enough; Josh Allen is not going to be a classic pocket passer, ever.
Let him run. It's the only dangerous thing he does.
Lamar isnt Allen.
If Allen wants to be an all pro QB hes going to have to learn to throw inside the pocket.

I loved watching him stand in the pocket against Miami. Probably the most confident I've seen him standing back there, going through progressions.
Let me say it again for the Veruca Salt people; rational fans were never under the impression the Bills were going to the Super Bowl this year. Playoffs, preferably, yes, but the key this year was to come out of the season confident you have your quarterback, and if you don't absolutely see how much better he is getting, and how much better this team is getting, then you're just another fan who gets their joy from watching Bills fans in misery. Hell, his redzone success alone should have fans thrilled.
100%. Coming into the year. I honestly didnt see this team even being in the Wildcard race.
We upgraded the line but...we just didnt know how much of an improvement it would be.
The preseason was an indicator that the focus was making Josh a complete QB. Working on his short passing game and game managing.

Id take Duke for the 50/50 balls Josh threw to Brown against the fins.
-
The reason they want him to stay in the pocket is so he can learn the QB position.
The legs are supposed to be a bonus, not emphasis.
He needs to be in the pocket as much as he can so he can continue learning the game and working on making every throw.
Last year Josh was bailing the pocket super early. This year he is learning to work a pocket and stay poised. Hes looked much better and is much more patient.

70% of scouts wanted Lamar to switch to WR.

Seeing how this season actually have playoff implications, if this going to end up being a big issue for us going forward?

how many of our games HAVE been walks in the park? If they ran EKGs on me while the games played out...mamma mia.
Shoot, yesterday, it felt like pure luxury to look at the 4th quarter having like 8 minutes left and I really felt...this is over. What's for dinner? Do I need more beer?

Those guys are playing some real tough football.
Can be another one of those ugly games for us if we dont stop that run.

Nice to see him be active..but uh lets see again next week.

He is such a matchup nightmare.
They have done a great job of giving him good options when he does pass. His legs suck in LBs hard...leaving people like Andrews for a 1 on 1 matchup which hes usually winning.

Its official. We need a real WR1.
Allen is throwing 50/50 balls to WRs that cant win them.

There will be nothing wrong with Foster once Allen gets his deep ball confidence back.

Rudolph - 2-4 games.
Brady - Banned.

This team is missing some serious splaysh
-
If they dont come out and play strong game you can forget about the playoffs.

Honestly I thought that was the plan since preseason.
Once i saw how much the short pass was emphasized...it looked like getting Allen better was the reason for the season.
We just happened to go on a roll.

Daboll can face his fears and make this a run first team.

Its an awful question. lol

10 on Allen. Would put every resource into him while he is still on his rookie deal.
There is hope for him. Hes already the best QB weve had since Bledsoe.

Yep. He should be only coming in to spell at this point.
He did a good job and i have no issues with him here.

Year one? Seeing what we had, sign a couple of FA's, removing those who didn't want to be here, and still made the playoffs. Year two? Cap strapped because of ridding ourselves of the dead weight, go get the QB of the offense, the QB of the defense, Richie blows a gasket, Wood has to retire because of a neck issue, and we are basically all in on the rebuild. Year 3? We had to fix the OL, we upgraded the WR corps, we drafted players (some of whom are making an impact already), and are basically in the 2nd year of the rebuild. This team is pretty young, they are growing together, and we are still 6-3 in spite of Daboll's play calling. Some rebuilds aren't instant gratification like that of your microwavable Hot Pocket.
Lol I agree with this. We were beyond bad last year. Losing Wood and Richie set us back big time. Were getting better. Weve been tricked by the schedule and the 6 wins. We arent a contender yet, we just have to get this offense moving and continue developing the young guys.

To the posters thinking he's drafted well, I would ask this.....anybody from that list make any probowls? how about an all rookie team? Anybody on that list making a probowl next year? and I'm not talking about 3rd alternate after people drop out? 7 of those picks he used were top 65 and 2 were top 10.
Why dont we wait a bit.

100%. There was one play that stuck out with me against the Browns a few weeks ago.
We were in a deep FG range on 3rd down. We got stopped and there was a penalty on us. They accepted and moved us back. I said to myself... not a good idea to give us another chance on 3rd down.
We completed a 15 yard pass to Brown on the sideline for a first.
For Josh Allen 3rd and 15 is the same as 3rd and 5.
