Tanking fish?

Didn't you know that the Bills were supposed to go 16-0 and that Allen has to throw for 300+ yards and have a perfect QB rating in EVERY game? Didn't you get the memo?
-
Do we really wanna bring back 1861?

Tennessee doesn't have anywhere near the secondary NE has. The threat of a running game would be nice, meaning NO MORE empty backfields would be nice.

I am not in denial with Allen. Any idiot knows he has to be better. Period. He has been bailed out by his D, which may have saved him from being benched, but.......... when you have a million new starters on your OL and you run these constant no RB sets, what kind of results do you expect for a young QB. Allen needs to be better and more consistent and he needs help from his coaching staff. Also, period.

McCoy's running style and decline is what got him released. Nothing else to see here. A healthy Singletary is critical to this being a run-heavy offense (Captain Obvious here). With that said, if they have all 3 backs healthy, they have more than enough to be a very strong run team. Plus this strategy will be much more effective for a team that is transitioning a whole new starting OL.

Jeremy White (WGR) heartbreakingly loses all 4 babies

There is really nothing I can say about how bad of a story this is. Awful -
It doesn’t mean much, but............. the Titans haven’t seen a D even close to what the Bills are, while the Bills have seen two D’s that are better than the Titans (Jets with Mosley too, along with NE). Plus, Mariota will be the worst QB the Bills have seen yet. Will that even matter? I don’t know.

You see it for yourself how many have quit on Allen already. Me personally, I think the Bills need to shift their coaching philosophy and put more of an emphasis on the ground game, provided Singletary can come back healthy. The Bills need to create easier blocks for their OL since they are breaking in a million new starters on the OL. I hope we have seen THE LAST of empty backfields too. This doesn’t help a young QB in any way. The Bills might have something in this D. I would hope that McDermott has learned something by trying like heck to keep his D off the field and keeping them fresh as possible, meaning heavy doses of Singletary, Gore and Yeldon (to a lesser extent).

The only thing comparable between Edwards and Allen is the panic amongst Bills fans to each after about the same number of starts to their young careers. Bills fans weren’t patient with Edwards (rightly so) and are now throwing the towel in on Allen. Allen had a bad game for sure against NE, but his coaches didn’t help him either as the constant empty backfield was maddening. That made it so easy for BB to blitz the heck out of a young QB, with little resistance. i will be patient with Allen. How about other fans?

Once again Belichick shows why he’s the GOAT.

Was the gunner left totally uncovered? If the gunner hadn’t had a sole around him, why didn’t anyone notice? -
Lack of NFL talent within himself and what the Bills put around him ruined Edwards, nothing else.

Have You Started To Lose Faith in Josh Allen?

The constant empty backfields is what bothered me against NE. Allen might have had a chance if there was a RB back there with him. Allen was not good against NE, but the Bills offensive coach’s were also intimidated by BB. Fact -

Roster question: Who backs up Matt Barkley vs Titans??
njbuff replied to AmishRifle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We don’t know anything about anything yet until we get an official update on Allen. No use speculating until then. -
Maybe they can dust off Vince Ferragamo.

Have You Started To Lose Faith in Josh Allen?

I get why Bills fans are pushing the panic button with Allen. It's the "here we go again" syndrome with a young Bills QB, a.k.a., Manuel, Edwards and Losman. Allen did seem to turn the corner in the second half yesterday after a miserable first half, so there is that. The Bills might actually have a strong running game with Gore and the returning Singletary, so can Allen become a game manager for this team before he becomes a franchise QB? That is the big question now and one Daboll needs to find the answer to quickly. It's also the fact that we are living in an instant gratification society and if Allen isn't lighting the world on fire yesterday, he is a bust crowd. The difference between Allen and the other young Bills QB's of the past is that Allen is light years more talented. Will that be enough in the end? Only Allen can answer that. I will remain patient. Will you? -
Josh's foot work in the first qtr - Woof

Allen had a bad game, we all know it. Let's just move on. It's what he does with this bad game is what matters. Allen totally let BB and the Pats invade his head. This must NEVER happen again if the Bills ever hope to beat the Patriots as long as BB and Brady are there. It seemed like Allen was back at Wyoming where he had to do everything by himself and ignored everything that he has been taught as a pro. As bad as he looked in the first half, he was starting to turn the corner a little in the second half and the Bills might have pulled this game out if he remained in. Allen must learn from this. I don't wanna go down the road of Losman, Edwards and Manuel................... AGAIN. -

The 2020 draft is a very good for WR's. If WR is one of the few weaknesses this team has going into 2020, the Bills will have a lot going for them. No matter how this season plays out, the Bills will be in line to select a very good prospect at the WR position, regardless of draft position and if they decide to go WR in the first round, of course. That said, I am not trading a high draft choice in 2020 for a vet WR that will not guarantee the Bills anything in 2019. -
Why’s Allen not getting peterman like treatment?

The Bills can easily go to the playoffs without adding a WR from the outside via trade. -

The Bills tried trading for a WR in-season and it failed miserably in 2017 when they went after Kelvin Benjamin. Just roll with what you got for the rest of 2019. -
I get why you say this, but.......... Is this going to be the norm for Allen, meaning, after every bad game (or half) he needs to sit and watch and learn? When does he get past this?
