Post Favorite memory of the 2019 season
njbuff replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crap video and it came in a loss, but this was actually my favorite moment of 2019. -
If the Bills want Ruggs, it looks like they will have to pay the piper to move up. Are you willing to give up a two and next year's first, which will be the cost to move up?
-
Jalen Reagor is every bit as fast as Ruggs. But where is he going to be slotted is the key.

I think the Bills will attack every position in FA, except WR. I think they will find cost effective FA's across the board like last year with one big ticket FA signee. I have no idea which position the Bills will spend the money on, but I certainly think that WR WILL NOT be one of them. I think the Bills will draft 3 WR's from this draft. And remember, the Bills already have Brown, Beasley, and hopefully, a developing Knox. They just need someone to be a threat as a 4th option for the 2020 season while letting them develop further. The Bills didn't have a quality 4th option as a receiver and it crippled their passing offense in critical situations. I don't think it is too much to ask from a rookie WR to contribute right away as a viable 4th option in 2020 for the Bills to be an incredibly productive offense.

Safety Kyle Drugger With Bills First Round Pick?
njbuff replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe I am being irrational, but I am not crazy about drafting 24 year old rookies in the early rounds of the draft unless it is somebody like Bo Jackson. He was drafted 1st overall in 1986 and his birth year was 1962. Otherwise, be leery of 24 year old rookies drafted in the early rounds. -
Predict Shaq Lawson's contract

I think McBeane wants Lawson back and they might front load the contract. I also think Lawson is the only one of Buffalo's UFA's they try to bring back. -
Predict Shaq Lawson's contract

4 years, 32 mill has been the going rate. If an NFL team wants to give him more.................... thank you for your services Shaq. -
I would think that WR's in this FA class have no leverage whatsoever when they know that the 2020 draft is loaded with WR's who could potentially produce right away. But as I type this, there are STILL going to be teams stupid enough to overpay for WR's in this FA class (or any other class for that matter).
-
I guess what I meant to say is that Cooper disappears for stretches, maybe not necessarily in big games.
-
Pay 20 mill a year for a WR who disappears in big games when this years WR class is the deepest in recent memory? Thank God Beane is the GM.

If you wanna think outside the box, tell us that the Bills are taking a TE at 22. ?
-
Um, they acquired draft assets for the 2018 QB draft class, passing on a QB in 2017. If they wanted Mahomes (or Watson), they would have taken him at 10 in 2017. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure this out. Also, the Bills always had the most scouts at Wyoming games in 2017. Again, it does not take a rocket scientist to figure it out.
-
When McDermott took over, Allen was the QB he wanted in the 2018 draft. He passed on Mahomes in 2017 because he wanted Allen in 2018. Rosen was NEVER on McBeane's (once Beane came aboard) mind. Allen was number one and Darnold was number two. Now the Bills need to complete the offensive process with this offseason and make Allen's job, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE, not to be a one man gang.

Jags unlikely to allow Yannick Ngakoue to test FA

Dareus’ contract was a lot bigger than I thought. What a freaking albatross. -
The Roger Stone Case
njbuff replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Another thing that the common folk will ask about this is............ Why is Roger Stone going to jail for lying about something that’s a total lie (Russian collusion delusion)? Since when is being an unlikable dick with NO criminal record tantamount to a prison sentence? -
The Roger Stone Case
njbuff replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
All I will say is that if the judge and jury head are partisan hacks in a case anywhere else in this country, the case would get thrown out.............. but since it’s #orangemanbad constituent Roger Stone, he will be getting a re-trial with an electric chair execution waiting at the end of the trial. While it’s pretty easy to be no fan of Roger Stone, those watching this case around the globe have to be laughing their azzes off at this whole process. Just because Stone comes as a smug prick doesn’t mean he deserves an execution (long jail sentence). -

I think if these weirdos in the Democratic Party and MSM continue to call out Barr and Durham......... it’s only going to piss them off and they will lay fat indictments on their constituents. -

Anyone who hates Trump will ALWAYS believe the Russian collusion delusion and nothing will EVER change their minds. EVER ? Anyone who falls for the new Russian bullSchiff is an utter fvcking moron. -
One "drought era" Bill on today's roster?
njbuff replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This ^^^^ for the win. -
I am more inclined to think that a move up would be for a player that ISN’T a WR.
-
There are a ton of WR’s who could be elite from this draft. It’s useless to trade premium draft picks when you are just fine drafting where you are in this WR class. Jalen Reagor, Tee Higgins, Justin Jefferson, for example, are players that would look just as good in a Bills uniform as Lamb.
