  1. Good news Bills no longer on opening night haha
  2. I agree. I wonder if we let Beasley go if Kirk even is an option as he is a pretty good talent himself and if we would get priced out. I know we have been spoiled with two years of really good WR's, but I would do everything in my power to have a truly superb WR1/2/3 group, WR4/5 I am fine with projects or vets with upside.
  3. My point is more heading into FA there were farrrr more options that a lot of teams were eying. I would love Robinson but we can't afford him. Cooper is a bit older now but still very good. But teams that want to upgrade WR room will be in far more battles now that things are tightening a bit.
  4. WR market is thinning out quick with Adams most likely staying, Godwin tagged, Ridley succesfully removing himself from the league lol, a banged up ODB. Options are starting to be more Amari Cooper, Allen Robinson, and potentially Beasley
  5. One of the reason the Bills are pursing a stadium 60-62k (not including standing room) in capacity is because across all of sports the TV side is dominating where it is truthfully more comfortable, better to watch with how TV's have such clarity and camera angles, and most importantly cheaper then in person. I believe it was Tyler Dunne who had the figure that based on market size Buffalo's stadium is actually over what is required for the area in terms of seat numbers and the 60-62k is far more in line from what should be our base compared to the 70k. COVID obviously had a huge impact on many stadiums attendance this year and the Steelers have been in a more down pattern after decades of success. With that said though I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers themselves in the future take out a few 1000 seats to create more party deck area's and standing room which would lower the overall stadium capacity artificially while also creating the popular seating area's many of todays fans like. I buy that, with Ben you knew your ceiling even when they had a better year like 2020 when you could see they were a paper tiger. I have a buddy in PA who is a Steeler fan and he has wanted a new QB for about 3 years as you could see it was time. Moving on from a guy who is a legend to your team is tough, but failing to do so prolongs the inevitable and also stunts your teams future.
  6. As a survive of the collapse of BBMB I am happy to be here. The discussions and posts are vastly superior for the most part and there is far less rose colored glass fans.
  7. Yea its a really bad predicament for the Cards. The Cards have historically been a cheap and crappy franchise although since Bidwells son has taken over they seem to have shed that a bit, but I do wonder if that has any impact. The tough thing for the Cards is QB is the biggest need and elevator for success. Murray despite his warts is still a great talent who is your best option outside of Allen, Mahomes, etc... If you move off him your almost certainly not upgrading or even in talent so its a downgrade. But his antics do not make it easy to want to go 45 mil a year contract wise. I do not envy them
  8. I thought the same thing. The decision to me felt intentional for as much attention as possible. To me some guys just want to win and some want to be a star. If you want to be a star doesn't mean you do not want to win, but actions seem to regularly occur with guys like that which aren't necessarily win first. I think Russell Wilson is actually closer to this also but he at least has won a bunch.
  9. I do not think they were bad, but the white helmets currently are far superior. I will say that with the way they can do the Matte helmets that could make the logo truly pop in red. See through helmets!
  10. The Bucs announcement below talks about the return of their popular creamsicle unis: https://www.buccaneers.com/news/bucco-bruce-bucs-throwback-uniforms-returning-2023-season Their twitter feed said it is delayed a year due to supply issues. I am wondering if that will impact the Bills return of the Red helmets.
  11. pshh figures no respect per usual
  12. From the thing I read from an LA reporter because Dallas played opening night last year they may not want to straight years and the NFL may not want to do that to them again. I think there is a far more legitimate chance it is Buffalo this year.
  13. Dallas Cowboy in SB 5, don't recall the name without searching but it was called the blooper bowl due to turnovers.
  14. In my opinion if every guest can recite every SB MVP in order from SB 1 on at the party then why are they even there 😅
  15. The biggest indicator for the game to happen seems to be Buffalo being one of the few good non division games for LA and Dallas played last year opening night. Based off some stuff that came out yesterday it looks like the Bills are the front runner for those reasons to start opening night.
  16. Yep. 2013 Week 1 and 2015 Week 2. Last two times we faced NE early in season Problem is our road schedule is superior to home for marquee games unless Rodgers returns then you have GB/NE/TEN as bigger draw options
  17. Try 1 maybe 2 games. Their current thing with the throwbacks is once maybe twice a year depending. My guess is they probably do a home game 90s themed with the Red and perhaps you get one away game they wear those digs. Otherwise teams are pretty protective of using their current look for brand regardless of fan input.
  18. In my opinion when this stuff comes out there is absolutely some level of truth that comes out. Now whether is is 25% truth or 75% obviously has a distinction. But if you told me a team like you said with big personalities like the Chiefs whose offense all year was up and down had issues with Bieniemy I wouldn't be stunned nor with some of his coaching calls. To the level of the article? Probably not, but I can buy the frustration as it happens with any team when things are bad or go sideways.
  19. Oh don't worry come first week after free agency I will have my first mock schedule
  20. F*ck that playa he throwing 500 yds 4 TDs week 1. Strap in were going to the SB!
  21. Rumor has it Patrick Mahomes hates puppies
  22. I miss having it earlier too but I at least appreciate that they now do it after the draft and FA so rosters are far more set and they can try for more intriguing matchups then the Titans Jags yearly TNF disaster.
  23. I would add for Peyton he lost to the Charges in a game he never got the ball back and they year prior he lost 28-24 where the defense couldn't hold against Billy Volek at the end. With that said he has some really bad games in playoff losses including the first two games vs NE and a 41-0 thrashing by the Jets. Everyone talks about Vanderjets miss in 2005 but the final score was 21-18, not exactly Peyton's best day either. The flip side is from 2006 on he generally played pretty well in playoff games even losses.
