Brett Favre did not get waived. I don’t think young was cut either. Carter was a fourth round pick. What I mean is guys who just bust out after being a first round pick and more in the modern nfl with the current cba not from 2 score ago.

Guaranteed contract and they waived him after 2 years…. What success examples are there with situations like this?

Reports I saw this morning seemed to indicate the bands moved south earlier/more than expected. Since this is a Sunday night game, the NFL will not want to move it and vacate that window. The Bills also wont want to move it and I think day of is kind of too late for that unless there were some extreme change at this point.

The bad part about the 4th and 9 are the plays that led up to it, Josh this year I dont think gets them to 4th and 9...he probably takes one of the underneath options. But at 4th and 9, its very very low percentage to convert and you FG percent should be very high there with a 44 yard FG. it was "just to tie" and they were still dogs even if they hit that FG.....but the miss ended it.

Any takeaways from this? They seem fine except for the fake punt. Aggressive when the situation called for it and kicked when the down and distance were very unfavorable....

There were not quite as many, just looked at 1993 and they had 4 night games....with Thursday and multiple Monday games now that is typically 5 or 6. There were also a bunch of 4PM games that year, I don't think people hate those as much, I know some do. The big difference is back then there was legit possibility of a blackout and streaming was not a thing. We often missed some games on TV and had to listen on the radio. The Houston greatest comeback was one of them.

I have this conversation with my dad all the time. He screams at clouds about it. Yes there are more windows but the bills don’t play much at 1pm because they are a great team which is what we should all want.

I agree and disagree….disagree because even McDermott wished he had run it after. But the reality is if you want aggressive calls you have to live with the times it does not work out. Its decisions not results, many fans are just emotional and only care about results. Allen played a bad game that day and his choices on those plays were bad. It happens.

Agree you need your qb to understand the situation. However the coach needs to know his players capacity to understand what is happening and step in there and call TO. Caleb is getting a pass but agree he owns it too. A seasoned field general would have just called TO.

I think it’s more public response to snow events has just changed in recent years. I don’t think he meant he thinks it should change rather that he thinks it will. The powers that be may push for that. the nfl does not want a Sunday night game moved in time. I don’t think it will move but you never know.

You don’t aim to rush a kicker on. You try to get it closer and get out of bounds or then kick the fg.

Yeah 3rd down defense has been bad this year. Somehow they did decent va the chiefs who have the best 3rd down offense. Hoping with all the changes and injuries this trends better down the stretch. Turnovers have been great which helps a lot.

They have good depth at TE. Not like Kincaid has been the guy everyone was expecting in the pass game. Not complaining just pointing out this is something they can work through with Knox and Morris.
