  1. I did not say he does not throw to tight windows....he does not throw to his first read much compared to the rest of the league and that has been a hallmark of his in the NFL. He has been described as a see it throw it guy vs a guy that throws with anticipation. He holds the ball long traditionally and that is what happened the last two weeks which results in more pressure. You can think that is insane but it is all actually factual. You can look at first read percentages and time to throw metrics....
  2. I think Josh likes to wait and see guys open rather than throw with anticipation. When he was getting off his first read he was under pressure. Furthermore the Texans were chasing him down quicker than we typically see. I know people will say guys are not open. And I know they took the short stuff away. There has to be other options they were not planned to take advantage of. It seems like they are putting more guys in the box. You have to counter it and make them pay. Josh was bad at times yesterday. The throw to Kincaid and then next play he was flustered.
  3. As if they gives you better information than a camera zoomed in on him from multiple angles.
  4. I concede people questioned it at the time...just like they questioned going on 4th and 5 at the time. My take on it is they shoudl have run but it is getting way more play and over reaction than it deserves. You don't want a coach who always does the conventional safe thing.
  5. I believe the way it works is if he gets treatment, it has to be disclosed. If he has bumps and bruises that dont require treatment they dont have to disclose that.
  6. The world is running out of silver, it is needed for industry, none left for your linings
  7. They basically just kneeled it and took the loss of down.....which btw is what everyone wanted to see on the last possession.
  8. I dont think that is true, the independent neurologist was in place for Tua's concussions. But they did tweek the protocol to inlcude ataxia as a no-go.... https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-nflpa-agree-to-modify-concussion-protocols-following-completion-of-tua-tagov Funny, this whole board was positive Tua had a concussion from their couches and that was accepted.
  9. I think there are both...the independent neurologist can pull him but even if he does not the team can make that decision if they wanted.
  10. It is measure -counter measure. They need to adjust to what has happened the last two weeks and they can and will.
  11. Hollins is a cool guy but limited at WR. He needs to get replaced.
  12. It was not three bombs. I agree with what McDermott said after the game. They should have run it on first and went from there. My point is the result could very possibly have been the same. You can second guess anything and everything when it does not go the way you want. People are upset because of the result. If they got a first and got to ot it would not be something discussed much. Similar to theb4th andn5 td to Coleman. If he drops that ball and Houston scores then McDermott would be flamed for that.
  13. The thread title is exactly where my head has been at since the start of last season. They can do anything during the regular season…..struggle or win all their games but if you get bounced in round two it’s all the same. It’s a long season with ups and downs. Perspective is key.
  14. That is not true. One he could have hit it from where they got the punt and two the running plays with timeouts would have added a few seconds to the clock. They needed a first down.
  15. Op is a dolphins fan….
  16. The problem is it is a very imperfect system. Alll he can do is ask questions. Observe the patient and compare to his baseline which you can pass even with a concussion.
  17. They know concussion means they are done so yes they do this. They did? Edit yes they did just saw it. lol this will become a thing this week.
  18. Let’s play the season out….
  19. Case closed!
  20. I agree it’s Joe Marinos fault. It’s.clear as day nice job articulating the facts. It’s just like birds not being real. Everyone thinks they are but then there is the guy or small group who cracked it. They are made by the CIA and charge on the power lines.
  21. It does not get discussed much but his left hand affects his decisions and it affects the overall offense. The fact they blew the first two teams out after the injury was fortunate. The jags in particular played like morons.
  22. That was a back injury. Josh did what most players instinctively know to do….stay down until you are more stable. It happens all the time if you are looking in nfl games. My beef is with the internet concussion experts who think they know what is good for everyone not on the bills but they don’t say jack when it is Josh Allen.
