dude i cannot tell you just how many musicians I know in NYC whom have retail or restaurant server gigs to survive. Also the lack of health and insurance benefit begins to really suck. I know A few people who can survive on only their bands. But those folks arent anywhere near as big as name a Geddy Lee. HA. my son now has a day job with benefits and occasionally tours with bands still . But full time musician for he is in the past.

SMH I feel physically ill after reading the storm surge water above ground predictions. Tampa 4-6" and worse further south. I told hubby DANG 4-6 feet above ground? That place is fixing to become a swamp UGHH. Just think about that alone. Take 4-6" and measure that and then think of it coming right for your house or business. He said newscasters are saying this is the worst storm to ever hit Florida. And they have had some doozies in the past Blech.

imo the true test of fandom is if you continue to follow and claim a given team is yours even when they lose. These fly by nighter aka bandwagon "fans" were never fans in the first place by my definition. Their willingness to back a winner is easy. NOTHING about having been a true Bills fan is easy. The wannabees concern me zero. Here today gone tomorrow. No skin off my nose. There are plenty of the TRUE bills fan around to need be concerned with those weak willed needing winning validation for any team boring bandwagon jumpers. Maybe they'll sprain an ankle jumping off lol
