this is a very cool story worth following. My interest perked up when I read that Bolivians were laying some claim. haha if there were a ring of feral dogs here I am certain this would have made the news. We have rural areas but not THAT kind of rural at least in San Diego county where I live my dog gets a whiff or hear one and she goes OFF. It's the only time you hear a peep from her. I walked past one once it was next to my trash bin and I didn't see it. It wily coyotyed out of my way THANK GOD. I only saw its shadow. scared the crap out of me . size can be very skinny scrawny 25 pounds or I've seen a few stout ones running 60 pounds easy. Owls/ hawks can carry a 10 pound dog or cat here too. Predators? Oh Yes of all sizes and variety. I bet some of them eat poisoned dead rats and it makes them sick and die too. With all this rain the furries are flourishing. OR dying in flood areas. anyway.

as urban sprawl encroaches on these animals territories they will be getting closer and closer. In California there is abundant wildlife. But around me it is a ton of coyotes and they prowl my neighborhood incessantly. a lot of walkers carry sticks to help fend them off. That many . They will crap on the sidewalks. You know it is a coyote and not a dog when you see hair sticking out of it GROSS. But happens where I live quite often. People catch images of them on ring cameras all the time. they hop 6 foot fences like nothing. NO domestic cats are seen outdoors. Here they would be food Very shortly.

Hospice nurses are angels of mercy in human flesh. I experienced it through 2 different friends. Unique circumstances . One was breast cancer. The other a very elderly man from my church after a car accident which did caused his eventual demise. Seeing people close to death was for me torturous. I couldn't stay in the room.Forget ministering to people that sick. Death isn't something I personally fear perse. But I hate facing it at the same time if that makes sense. If I were ever in hospice I'd want total pain management and PEACE at the end not a struggle.

I have backstory to go with this clip which is why I chose this particular song . My best true recollections of the 60's involved me being beaten up by my big sister Kathy for little sister crimes. But said MEAN (lol) big sister was in a sports contest run at our high school called Sports Nite. Girls in teams of girls "Blue and white" team. It included a number of contests including best promo posters relating to the theme, basketball, dance. contest That is where "Purple Haze" came from. My sisters team year 1968 I believe chose this song, and created a dance routine based off of it which included white mini skirts and choreography with black lights. It was AWESOME.
