the NY Yankees are a great team with a very storied past I dare say their fan base is as big if not bigger than the Bills. I see their hats being worn everywhere. Is it a team or fashion choice? I say fandom . Having said that there are 3 teams right off the top of my head that people either love or despise. Those being the Dallas Cowboys, The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame, AND the NY Yankees. Once a team has reached and achieved so many championships the bitterness and just dislike flows deep. . I am a Fan of one of those teams. So I live this premise. Domers are as diehard a bunch as you will find. And they are Legion as well . Their fans? I think overall a pretty cool bunch The Cowboys I need not elaborate we all know why they are despised. For reasons stated above and especially their fans. And Jimmy Johnson. Jerry Jones? blech The Yankees ABSOLUTELY hit the trifecta of obnoxiousness for all the same reasons IMO. Congrats on your great team. I am not a hater type person. Your thoughts show empathy towards guys being cut who devoted their lives to football. Being cut from an NFL roster happens every season with such fellows as you describe. I totally understand the sentiment. Which is why those decisions are so difficult. The truth of it though is the NFL is a business first. They are in the business of winning football games.And a low risk high reward signing of an exceptional athlete does not surprise me. working your entire life for a goal, and then ends sucks no matter who it is. root for the laundry. Root for championships. Root for the TEAM. Rooting for guys with questionable character issues from his past meh not so much.

I read in PPP but I clearly am not a politico. My definition of who a politico is is a person who contributes to the PPP frequently. As this board was fractured with the more conservative voices moving on EVEN STILL I think both sides of American politics are represented. And both sides do what I am going to type about so don't get me wrong. But I see a thread about a smirk, a smile and I think this is so petty. SO PETTY. I mean Biden could have frowned and then the headlines would be how DISINGENUOUS what a creep child sniffing freak. and a privilege many never get 🙂 it is true though. In a place like this with the fanbase so spread out logistically and age wise the stories are going to be great either way. My kids were raised in socal and as staunch a Bills fan as I am they only follow it because of me. But while he was on tours with his bands back in the day he would see people in Bills swag wherever he went , he would say "Go Bills" and from that point forward it was smiles and instant connection. Bills fans are LEGION And other non football people I know in my life (wether just don[t care for football, MLB folks etc) totally respect the bills mafia as a fanbase. For many reasons.We are UNIQUE and we live and die with our Bills. It helped a great deal that Bills tickets in the 70's were Very affordable. Like $6.00 cheap seats.

Lookie Lookie here comes Cookie. I've been a Bills fan as long as I can remember really what really sealed the deal was being a part of the Batavia Party zone. M&T bank in Batavia would receive a block of tickets in the scoreboard endzone. This is where we would sit , often times with no one around us in inclement weather. We didn't care and it was a blast. Going to games and the tailgates, Plus just the Bills crowd in general were and are MY PEOPLE

I actually like the thread concept. Being welcoming of other peoples voices should be encouraged. Reading the same old die hard politicos post memes and tweets 24-7 is Boring . It's a Huge tit for tat. The ugliness might be diluted with new blood? Posting in PPP is for me a blessing and a curse. It allows me a PPP pipsqueak to for a short while try to bring a moderate view. I admit to the topic giving me Huge anxiety. Me being a Christian also makes these discussions difficult. Politics and religion. There is a reason why topics like these are often shushed in "Polite" society. Polite society doesn't belong in PPP. Civil sometimes. I read frustration, anger, bitterness, angst mixed in with some snark, and at times humor. Truth? depends on who you choose to believe and your own personal values and personal "truth" If this sort of Chat is your bag CONGRATS. The forum exists for PPP discussion and I TRY not to judge anyone I don't personally know with such limited data on who they really are in person. But that at times is difficult.
