Solid intro to Janis... sounds better in mono to me. After Cheap Thrills I lost interest in her and Big Brother. On a side note... these Mainstream albums are pricey and they cover a lot of groups.

We didn't do anything of note with all these picks... unpopular as in we still continually sucked. 3-24-1978 On This Day in Pro Football History: After 48 hours of wild speculation and rumors, O.J. Simpson was traded to the San Francisco 49ers. A weary eyed Joe Thomas, general manager of the 49ers, made the announcement. “This is the most explosive trade I’ve ever been involved in. O.J. is more than a football player. To me, he’s the hottest item in sports today even hotter than Muhammad Ali,” Thomas said. Thomas had been involved with other big trades in his career including the Paul Warfield trade to Miami a few years ago. Trading Simpson had been rumored off and on for about a couple of years. Simpson exclaimed, “Home at last. I’ve always wanted to play close to home but it never seemed to work out until now. I can close my career in my home and hopefully at the same time achieve what I’ve never been a part of - a championship.” In return from parting with Simpson, the Buffalo Bills received the 49ers 2nd & 3rd round selections in the 1978 NFL draft, 1st & 4th round picks in 1979 and the 2nd round selection in 1980. The Bills new head coach Chuck Knox was instrumental in the trade. “It came down to doing what we felt best for the long-range development of the Bills into a challenging team,” Knox said. Despite having surgery on his left knee to remove torn cartilage, Simpson passed his physical which allowed the trade to be announced. Simpson was the highest paid running back in the NFL having signed a 3 year contract back in 1976 which paid Simpson $733,000 a year. The contract had been a stumbling block for trading Simpson in the past. Bills owner Ralph Wilson was emotional over trading his star player. “O.J. has been first of all a friend. We laughed together in good times and cried when things went poorly. He made a contribution to football and the city of Buffalo that may never be matched,” Wilson said.

And we aren't losing after 2 ... there is a very small window left open.

Follow up album... do you mean Joe Byrd and the Field Hippies? If so then yes, that was a yawner for sure. I have a whole section of vinyl I haven't looked through in probably 15 years and I "think" I still have a copy of TUSOA... I know I sold a couple of copies way back on eBay. I really should go and crate all of that... just plain old laziness I guess lol.

Maybe the show/episode was a half truth, idk. My favorite wings were from a bar at the corner of rt.77 and broadway in the mid 70's. Doubt it's there anymore, I haven't been through that intersection in many years.. it was on the NE corner. Darien or Darien Center... one of the two. -
You should be able to go to any walmart and get this one... flies like the wind and no problems with security... under $200. It's like a small tv when I watch sling or Bills/Sabres games too. Very fast.. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Acer-315-15-6-Celeron-4GB-32GB-Chromebook-HD-Display-Intel-N4000-4GB-LPDDR4-32GB-eMMC-Protective-Sleeve-Pure-Silver-Chrome-OS-CB315-3H-C2C3/565923637?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=14673&&adid=22222222227565923637_141074770957_18285736992&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=620836129621&wl4=aud-430887228898:pla-1742974958378&wl5=9012090&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=118770819&wl11=online&wl12=565923637&veh=sem&gclid=Cj0KCQjw8e-gBhD0ARIsAJiDsaXzEcWDn78BGWoJNjo9MR6VdmKfeSo-4XFQUuJ19XtrGNPp2a3bYxQaArf1EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

This is why I only use a chromebook now... hope it works out for the best. Also, I never buy anything online. Used to do eBay way back but that was it... over 20 years ago.

Yep, same family has the ones in Bradenton and they will have the Bills games on. It's good for sure but what Florida lacks in is good independently owned Italian restaurants. Seafood is not all it's cracked up to be... I hate to say this but the seafood is better in Boston. A lot of us eat wings watching Bills/Sabres games so imo it does blend in well. Did you happen to catch the episode on the History channel? -
Can't forget Mrs. Miller either...
-
It really is. I thought that after the Bills went down in flames the Sabres would carry on the sports season for me... don't like baseball... but I guess this is pretty much how it goes and has gone for what, a decade? I'm about to turn off the feed and watch something else... and as I type this the Preds score again lol.

We're 8 points behind the Islanders and not much going on tonight so I guess I'll put this one on... haven't watched a full game in awhile.

I'm an hour west of you and we only have 1 place that makes decent wings, Florida sucks for food. Wait for chicken feet. Everytime I see a package of them it looks like little kids fingers... for $7.00 -

I suppose that a lot of people haven't heard much of his catalog outside of a few songs or even albums. Other than maybe the Grateful Dead he has to have the largest catalog out there... it is freaking vast and they keep releasing new stuff from the vault. He could play any type of music and once said that he could play a polka on the guitar if someone wanted it. No matter the kind of music/guitarist anyone likes, this will blow your mind:

I've never heard of this place... at least they tell you they are tribute bands ahead of time. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/concerts/2023/03/new-upstate-ny-concert-to-celebrate-50th-anniversary-of-1973-summer-jam.html?fbclid=IwAR28B8YbLvoZG9wXJj1e16qbZFuuLD4qdoIbKJI3xqbUSZwD5gMMVBK-osM
