Was there a quote from Josh saying that the bills might get in as a wild card or something like that?

My dolphins buddy is chirping me about that quote but never heard him say anything like that

I don't recall such a thing either, buddy is confused or making it up to try messing with you.

For anyone who is seriously interested in this topic I'd highly recommend the UFO Rabbit Hole podcast (by Kelly Chase) - it's a great starting point examining lots of different theories and possibilities of what could be going on - she raises lots of topics that sound pretty crazy, and in a lot of cases will also point out where evidence is deeply flawed or lacking, so it's not like she's advocating for most of those theories, just explaining why people might think it.

I've never heard of that one so I don't know who that is, but will check it out sometime.....

Just wanted to mention another one that's VERY interesting that you probably are already familiar with, but I'd suggest one that really needs to be seen is Dr. Steven Greer "Unacknowledged".

That one in particular has quite a bit of information that gets your full attention and will always remember.

Miami goes as far as Tua takes them. You pull all these stats and thump your chest about beating them stats wise.. meanwhile on the scoreboard the games were very close both under 7 points.

like the Bills had twice the number of yards than Miami in week 3 but scored only 19 points and lost… ok it was disgustingly hot.. but 19 points with over 400 yards… that’s hard to do.

lmao your going bring up the wildcard game where they had what a 3rd string QB playing? And yet the Bills at home barely bet them by 3 points?

point is they are a very talented team and you could have lost to them in the playoffs, which would have been embarrassing.

While I agree for the most part from their offense last season, however I'm interested to see what happens this season now that teams have studied their offense and knowing how to defend it better.

Spencer Brown by all accounts has looked really good this year.

It's early, and this is the first day in pads, but he was injured last year. Let's at least give him a clean slate and see how it goes.

I'm not sure I'd stretch it quite that far, I mean there's really nothing much to base off of either way good or bad this early in TC just first day in pads. Some reports from the padded practice made it seem as if he was struggling quite a bit.

But anyways, you're right regarding last year and his injuries, which had an affect also in Kromer not having the amount of time with him that he needed. He will get that time this time around as long as there's no more set backs. So hopefully it will make a difference

I think Elam very much improved, yes.

But keep in mind that Benford was on IR starting in Game 12 and then inactive the rest of the season

    Two things can be true:

the Bills (and fans) can believe that Elam improved the last few games of the season

    AND

the Bills can also believe that especially in zone coverage, Jackson and then Benford are still the better players at this point.

Yes of course,  not sure if you were necessarily directing that to me or just mentioning for general purposes, but I didn't say anything about or even implied regarding Benford.

To be clear though I do agree with you, however my question was simply if the poster I quoted did or did not feel Elam's play improved those last games of the season

New Era basically said it in another post. We have no idea what is going on in the film room or practice field. I honestly think elams elite traits make up for lack of scheme knowledge. He’s obviously not where the staff wants him to be at this point or we wouldn’t be having these conversations.

So you didn't answer the question that doesn't pertain to any of those things you mentioned above. Did you or did you not see his play on the field improve the last stretch of the season?

But I'll respond to your statement anyway, so no disrespect intended here, you kinda contradicted yourself a bit....you said "we have no idea any details in film room, practice etc" ...although you seem to be suggesting he has a lack of scheme knowledge and he's not where the staff wants etc.

You can't say nobody knows what goes on in the film room etc and then follow it up with him having a lack of knowledge in the film room and how staff feels about where he's at...

I’m pretty sure if Elam develops and becomes a starter, you won’t hear me complain about it. The fact is that he’s getting scraps for some reason and it doesn’t make sense. It’s fair to be critical sometimes when things like this pop up. We need to be hitting on our top picks and haven’t been doing a great job of it lately. However, it looks like we might have something in Kincaid and hopefully Torrence is the real deal. Looks like cook might be something too. We will see with Elam.

Not to jump into you guys conversation, but I'm curious because I assumed everyone basically agreed that Elam improved quite a bit toward the last quarter of last season which was encouraging at least to some degree....

So I'm just wondering did you not think he showed improvement down that stretch?

Thing is he hurt his ankle in 2021 as well

Hope he can keep them both healthy this season.

I have been told that catching the ball starts with your feet.  I don't understand that, but, it was said by someone who knows his ball so....

I actually recall seeing a poster say that on here a while back. Don't remember who it was and don't know if you heard it from on here or not, but I saw that too.

I'm sure it does factor in some degree, not sure how much

The pre-snap motion with Knox/Kincaid shifting to empty backfield to draw with Knox is interesting. All this certainly shows that Dorsey is clearly trying to be more creative and testing out new ideas.

    That's great to see

This contradicts what Josh Harris said above, but they may be switching between Bates and Torrence. Good sign that Torrence is showing progress and is working his way towards winning the starting job.

The pre snap motion is welcoming to hear. Didn't see that last season, eager to see how Dorsey does in his 2nd year

    I hope not.

The guy whose role I think we want Kincaid to fill is McKenzie/Crowder - on the field ~60% of the time, hauling them in over the middle.

Morris was a 25% of the snaps on offense guy, who played 2/3 of the ST snaps.  That's not what we want from our 1st round pick.  Now, there's some good stuff that Morris did, which we hope Kincaid can emulate - did a good job of getting on the same page and getting open for Josh on extended plays.  Ran good routes.  Showed signs of being able to release with some nifty moves like the arm-over he pulled off, think it was against Miami.

The Bills didn't keep 2 TE in 2021 and it was a bit unusual.  2019 saw them keeping 4, Knox Sweeney Kroft and Smith.  In 2020 they kept 3 (if we count Gilliam as a FB): Knox, Tyler Kroft, and Lee Smith.  2022 was Knox, Morris, and Sweeney.

I don't think it's a stretch at all to think they'll keep 3, but I wouldn't count out Morris in favor of Sternberger unless Sternberger shows some stuff on ST.

He will have his opportunities obviously, but not sure what percentage it may be. Might be a bit less than what some may think, at least starting off since I'd expect he will get worked in a little slowly. Also it's possible Shakir might make a run too and play a factor. So will be interesting seeing how many of these things play out leading up to the start of the season

It’s wild that the Bills are finally caring about the TE position. I love it, makes your offense so much more flexible.

Yeah it certainly can, if you also have someone that can be creative enough game planning and the play calls to get the results

Lol, I don't know how many or if anyone here has actually ever had the pleasure to experience "blue balls" in their life at one point or other.....

But I'd just assume to have a swift kick in the balls rather than go through that ***** again. The pain might end quicker

This, on paper, is the best AFC East I can ever remember. There was always only one and occasionally 2 teams that were good. I think the Pats are only team that would shock me if they won the division, and they have a top 5ish defense and a good running game.

the bills are still by far the favorites. But I can see the bills with a worse record being a better team than they were last year because we don’t have 5 guaranteed wins this year.

Yeah I agree...it's been quite a while since AFCE was considered to be a strong, competitive division throughout. So much possible things can play out that can happen, but you're right it definitely seems that way on paper.

Really would be extra helpful if we can stay much more healthier this season.

Between the dollar menu and breakfast....I only eat fast food about 7-8 times a week now.  That's not much.

Why he gona be looking at pic with the lights off? Unless he can turn into an owl or is secretly a bat he might not see much with lights off in the dark
