If the question is, "What's your price?" I need to know the full details.
Would accepting the money mean that the Bills would never win the Super Bowl in my lifetime?
I'd pass on $500 without blinking.
I assumed it was Bills will never win a SB ever in anyones lifetime, but I could be wrong

Yeah, my dad always said he'd like to live to see the Bills win a Superbowl. Fast forward and I'm one year younger than when he passed away and I'm asking the same question. Will I live to see it?
Lol I know right.... I actually have the Bills logo tattoo on the back of my neck and just recently got "one before I die" right underneath it across top of my back shoulder blade to shoulder blade.
Anyone that's a football fan knows exactly what it's about when they see it... I'm starting to see it on shirts and stuff now quite often that you can buy

Lol, I threw out $500k and thought people would think it was crazy. The more I think, and read y’all, it’s higher. It would have to be a number that changed the way I lived. $500K would lower my mortgage payments and add some nice vacations. It would allievate some financial stress and shave a couple of years off the back end of my career if invested well. It wouldn’t change my day-to-day. If I’m going to commit to the Bills never winning a Super Bowl in my lifetime, my life would need to improve significantly with the amount of money I’d be getting.
For sure, Like many others I have dedicated a very large part of my life as a passionate Bills fan and given majority or my life that's already been put into it. I was thinking about it other day and was hard to believe it's been 40 years I've been a Bills fan. I know there are many with much longer, but being a Bills fan is not for the weak.

On its face….this is probably one of the most absurd questions I’ve ever heard. No true fan is taking $500 to forgo a Championship. A million and above is a no brainer…that’s life changing.
if the asker really wanted to make it hard, offer $150,000-$300,000. Not saying everyone would accept but it would sure force you to think about it.
Exactly, with what I've been through, along with many others, as a Bills fan it would really take A LOT

This post got me thinking, “what’s the right number that it would take in exchange for a Bills Super Bowl?” Obviously, $500 isn’t the answer. The champagne I’d pop after a Super Bowl would exceed that. What’s your number?
I’m thinking like $500K would be my number. That might be insane and it might not be high enough. That number is big enough to matter but not big enough to stop working or drastically change the day-to-day.
I figure that this is an interesting place for this discussion because the people spending time here, in June, REALLY care about the Bills.
EDIT: To be clear, you either get _____ dollars and the Bills do not win one in your lifetime OR they are guaranteed a championship this year.
I'd easily turn down 5k, much less 500

if one is going to use this hypothetical question, they should at least make up a high enough amount to make (Bills fans especially) actually ponder it lol
-
LOL @ $500... it's being modest to call that a "no brainer"....
$500 is nothing, especially these days

Oh yeah, that guy who made that impressive tackle once in college

Mack Hollins posted 57 catches for 690 yards in Las Vegas 2 years ago.
He had 378 yards in Buffalo in 13 starts.
Not to slight Mack at all, but we have evidence of what Gabe did with Josh and what Mack did with Josh and it’s not close.
In a system where the ball is spread around more than ever it's not surprising. But is that all you're basing your stance on, is just yards? When you look at more than just his yards he made some really good catches and didn't have a lot of drops like Gabe did.
I think if Gabe came in this offensive system under Brady, we would likely see much of the same with drops and probably injured again imo

Trevor Lawrence is not very good and I think JA17 can get more out of him. If we’re talking about $6M-$8M on a one year deal, why wouldn’t you? He’ll probably take less because Josh can restore his image..
Personally, I don't think Josh can get anything more out of him than what he's gotten already. As for the 2nd sentence in bold, I wouldn't because we've been there and done that story. Moved on from the drops and should stay that way

I think there’s a 50-50 shot he’s back in Buffalo.
Well, Yeah like with every team except Jags , he has a 50-50 shot in he will either sign with a team or he will not sign with said teaam.
7 hours ago, RoscoeParrish said:Why? He’s an actual better version of Mack Hollins, good in the locker room, and certainly not good enough to demand a high target share.
He ain’t perfect but no one on the Bills is either.
I'm not sure I'd agree with your statement in bold..... I'd argue Hollins had better hands, I'll give you blocking was pretty close, hell saw many plays from Hollins blocking that were top notch blocks by a WR. I might would even give that to Hollins too tbh....
You have to acknowledge Hollins didn't really come on until he came to Buffalo with Josh Allen....One could easily argue that Gabe Davis's play took a nose dive the last couple years with the Great Josh Allen. Maybe it was more of the initial injury Davis had but I don't see it myself, You can excuse the route running issues to an extent due to leg/ankle injuries...
But you can't use it as an excuse for all the drops he was starting to be known for the last two seasons for sure....Oh last but not least, as far as your statement about good in the locker room, I'm not sure Hollins doesn't have that one in the bag too....??!!
So all in all, I'd strongly disagree with your opening statement in the 2nd post in bold, I'm sure there's more ppl that would say Hollins is thye better version of Gabe Davis than the other way around at this point, imo

Beasley/Brown 2.0 was a joke. They did nothing at all. It solidified Beane's cluelessness at recognizing when FA WRs are walking around with a fork in their backs before he signs them.
Yeah I don't really recall what other players that was available at that time, but I can't imagine it being anything much. So if that was the case then I can understand the reason he felt Brown/Beasley familiar in the offense was the better of all the bad options.

This is more BS in my opinion.. what do they call catchable.. is suspect. when you have bad QB's throwing to you all the time and half of them are barely within reach... you stop trying after a while.. Pro or not.
Yeah for sure, honestly I question those who see stats with prior teams and that's it. It's simply one of the "common senses" that comes with watching football

I hope he just suffered from poor placement of employment.
Well, I can't see how the teams and QBs he's had in his career would not be taken into some sort of consideration. I mean it certainly can make a difference, especially in his case.

I would say it was both. The Chiefs have fallen behind by at least 10 points in every single Super Bowl they've played in, and in all but two their offense eventually found its groove and completed the comeback. But Philly's elite WRs allowed them to build a lead that was insurmountable so by the time KC started moving the ball it was too late. That 2nd half deep TD to Devonta Smith was the dagger that ended any chance of a comeback. Tampa Bay also had an elite WR corps when they beat KC.
But the other factor Philly and Tampa had in their Super Bowls was not just one elite pass rusher but waves of pass rushers that they were able to relentlessly send after Mahomes. So in that sense I like the way Beane has attacked the DL this offseason. A lot will depend on how well the three rookies develop and/or DeWayne Carter improves, but right now it looks semi-realistic that we could be 9 or 10 players deep with legit DL talent. That's the formula that has proven successful to harass and ultimately beat Mahomes in the playoffs so on paper at least I like the strategy.
I don't see where one could argue it wasn't, You're correct both were big factors. That being said, I think the way the Dline performed so well to set the tone for the entire defense as a whole was what made the most difference by a good margin imo.

You don't think Saquon Barkley resetting the Running Back market at 21m annually has any effect on James Cook coming down from 15? You're fooling yourself. He's a lesser player for sure, but not 9-10m less.
Well, I don't think he goes higher than the 15 he originally mentioned.

Cook is happy and excited bc he knows what it means for him. Any hope that we could meet halfway between what we want to pay and his asking price of 15m per just went flying out the window.
Honestly, I think it's way more likely that he asks for more than 15 now than it is he comes down from it
I don't think that changes anything as far as that's concerned really.

I only find myself getting pissed off again when people I've never met before happens to see Bills accessories on my car and whatnot come up to me and saying how much we got f*cked.
Then I get all in the conversation seeing it play out again lol

There are fit issues with Amari imo. Despite his physical profile, we seemed to use him mostly on passing downs. Guys need to be able to excel both in run and pass game to really work in this offense, with Shakir being a notable exception.
If Amari is prepared to take a short-term role player deal then sure. I doubt he’s going to do that. Sometimes it’s best to just move on.
I don't know how much it had to do with his age now and being injuried had more to do with it
What Are You Most Excited About This Coming Season?

For me, if talking about "most excited" it's always going to be watching Josh Allen above all else by far. It's like if there's anything that might be so close to a guarantee it can't be any closer, it's that Josh Allen will amaze.
However, what I'm also interested to see if the D can take the next step. But Bosa certainly doesn't install much confidence lol. I'm actually interested to see the rookie L. Jackson a bit more than others myself.
