I despise matchups against teams that have nothing to lose.
All predictability goes right out the window.
Yup, not only that also I'd assume there isn't a whole lot to go off of from film since the new HC will do some things differently

Will this be one of those times a team plays much better the first game after the firing of their coach?

Solid chance there will be a beheading in the stadium

I agree about the Chargers, with or without Herbert available but don't underestimate the Dolphins fans in what could be a massive game that could determine division title, seeding, or even the Bills making the playoffs period.
At least it likely won't be 120 degrees there like last time the bills visited (and lost).
Never really want to "underestimate" anything regarding any team/game etc in the NFL....
However when think of fan bases that can be an issue for the offense, Fins fans aren't one of them

I suggest no one rejoices over this. That is a bad loss for them
Won't rejoice or celebrate etc over it, but definitely don't feel sorry for em lol

Has Dak ever played in Buffalo? I don't think he has.
Just not scared of that dude.
Bills will overpower this team with pure emotion.
It's all happening!
Well the one I'm most concerned about is M. Parsons.....

Ok. Then I'll answer both of ya...lol.
While correct having the victim back out and not testify can usually lead to the case not moving forward, there are also many cases where it has. Some states do have different laws regarding it, but in some places if the police find the evidence and the DA wishes to proceed it's because there is enough evidence to convict without a witness. Would hardly be unprecedented is my point.
Now do they have that? That I don't know. Would the DA prosecute a famous athlete without a witness? Again, not known. But it is plausible that Texas of all places would move forward with it.
I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you just to be clear. I was mainly speaking about the bruises etc because I thought that was what you meant when you said "all the evidence they have". That could be from whatever else and said Von was reason.

With the evidence they found they may not even need her to testify.
Was going to mention basically about the same type of thing @boyst stated below.
6 minutes ago, boyst said:she could easily say they came from someone else or refuse to testify. women do this all the time in domestic issues, sadly. it's not for money - it's fear, conditioning, or other such things that make it a tragedy.
a non cooperative witness makes a case unable to prosecute. there have there have been cases where the accuser is paid and a settlement reached - literally a time where they sent the witness on a vacation when the court dates came up.

That’s just devastating. He would still stick against the cap if he’s suspended or we released him because of this?Miller has a salary of $17.145 million for 2024. Currently, all of it is guaranteed for injury. Of that amount, $10.71 million is fully guaranteed. The rest of it becomes fully guaranteed in March 2024.
Miller’s contract, a copy of which PFT has obtained, allows the Bills to void the guarantees if he is suspended under the Personal Conduct Policy.
From the team’s standpoint, time will be of the essence. The Bills need a suspension to be imposed before the 2024 season begins, so that the guarantees could be voided and, at the right time, Miller can be released."

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering if there was any sort of way it could be voided

the interesting thing, as araiza was brought up, is that this is an arrest warrant made immediately after the incident. with araiza it was investigated and no charges filed until it hit the media. it was reinvestigated and still no charges. yet, he was ripped apart to shreds.
this has charges already. and in legal speak - you can indict a ham sandwich. it's easy to get an indictment for an arrest, in other words. which is why it's that much more amazing that there was not that capability with Araiza.
Yeah you're absolutely correct and it's ridiculous it's like that in certain situations....(example), a neighbor got butt hurt one day because I moved his trash can to make room to get out my drive way. This piece of anal puss went to magistrate office and said I communicated threats and that's all it took for an arrest warrant to be written up.

He he been located yet? Because come game time, they will never be able to find him...
Yeah, I mean it baffles me why they keep sending him out there.

They likely cant cut him without going over the cap. I am not a sky is falling guy but even cutting him in the offseason will add 17.5 million dollars of dead cap to a team that is already 42 million over the cap.
Wow! This signing keeps looking worse and worse. However, I do understand why Beane took the gamble back when he signed, although it was way too much imo.
But didn't think it would turn out as bad as it has.

Well, good excuse to release him I guess...
I'm not sure if it would help or hurt more regarding the cap $$
I mean he's contributing absolutely nothing on the field anyways.

The “Eagles so scary” crowd are simply going off their record and how they looked last year.
Well, I mean why shouldn't they? Wouldn't you if your team only lost 1 or 2 home games since last season lol

Who is left for secondary?
Poyer, Benford, Damar, Siran, theUB practice squad CB, who else?
Douglas I feel will be fine and Hyde imo is the most likely to play (between those other 3 lost in Jets game) and Rapp I think you can go ahead and count him out.
So hope at least 1 of the 3 can play (prefer Johnson), it won't be so bad and still could be possible both he and Jackson can go.

Yeah, when Milano returns I think we're set at LB. No need for wasted draft picks there.
I don't know if I'd go as far to say "we're set at LB" basing off Dodson having a good game.

This is a tough matchup for the Bills. The season likely hinges on this game. If they win, the season likely hinges on the following game. And so on and so on.
I think it's more KC game. Can't afford to lose many conference games

Honestly, I'm not sure the dropoff is as big as in years past. Taron has made some plays, sure. He's also given up quite a bit more than usual this year. When Neal and Lewis have been in they have actually played pretty solid.
I don't know about all that, not sure if he's "givin up" an extra amount of completed passes to call it quite a bit more? But he has "givin up" some DPI more than usual

Lol they could point to the Pats and say they bet the Pats and the Bills let them run up 31 points and loss to them. My point? Division games are a different animal and usually very hard. Heck the Pats 2 wins are to the Bills and Jets both teams are better than NE d the bills a hell lot better.. but division games are a toss up.. I mean the Giants bet Washington..
also you seem be a stat guy.. so you realize Allen throws more than most QBs this more INT. Be interesting see if the Bills stick with the run or go back to running it 12 times and throwing it 40 or more
I fully agree with your post, division games are much more unpredictable for sure. That's what is expected obviously since being so familiar with one another...
Regarding the statement in bold....Knowing they have done some dumb stuff some this year, I don't think (at least I hope) there is a level of stupidity quite that high and don't see any reason they don't stick with keeping a balanced attack with the success they've shown running the ball.
I have been surprised before though lol
