NFL doesn't care and looking into every angle to see if they can find a way to make money off it.

I mean, dude literally broke a leg. Can't hold that against him.
I think most QBs who are average at best would likely have a good chance to put up better stats with all the level of talent Burrow has had. Similar to the Brock Purdy type treatment.
I don't think Burrow is as good many believe he is.

I'm not sure where one could find this information, but I'd be willing to bet that Bass has more trouble when kicking in cold weather (lets say 30 degrees or below).
For example, he missed two extra points in the perfect game. It should have been 49-17, not 47.
He shanked one last week in the cold.....he's from SC, kicked at Georgia Southern.....maybe we need a cold weather kicker?
I don't think it's because of cold weather. I think he's just not that good. Not nearly as good as many thought couple seasons ago

You are talking about the same play…the play where diggs was open for a short gainer Shakir was absolutely wide open for a td 😂. Which is why I’m telling you the throw to diggs there didn’t make a lot of sense with how well the chiefs defense responded in that second half
the throw to shakir was probably even easier than the throw to diggs tbh…there was no defender to effect the throw
No, one I'm talking about wasn't Diggs. Can't remember if it was Shikar or maybe Kincaid coming across open. I'm trying to see if I can find the particular play I'm referring to.

Great logic Einstein.
Apples and oranges.
Bass had two FG attempts in the game and horribly missed on one.
He practices daily in the stadium with the conditions present, and in his own words " I Misjudged my kick".
He wasn't responsible for the loss, BUT he certainly was responsible for the Bills not making it to overtime!
Yeah I don't know what's going on with him. Last week he very badly missed what usually is an automatic 27yd FG

He gets talked up by the media etc quite a bit as if they don't know how often Gabe is a no show.

Some team gives him $15 million.
Yup he will get offers and wish him well. I just think it's that time to part ways at this point. Pretty tired of the Gabe Davis disappearing act all the time

It doesn’t make sense because shakir is wide freakin open for a td lol. Y’all are talking like it was a 50/50 jump ball type play 😂. That throw to diggs even if it was unaffected by Dawkins getting backed into josh at the last second probably gets stopped short meaning you need another big 4th down conversion then multiple other conversions to possibly do what one throw to shakir would’ve done. ‘Keeping the drive going’ means nothing if you can’t get in the end zone and the way the flow of the game was going, it’s more likely we don’t pick up those tough short yardage plays.
That's not the play I'm talking about....I will see if I can find the ones I'm talking about. There were 2 instances (1 ended up punting, other was FG attempt I believe) that would have been a 1st down had Josh taken it

This still makes no sense to me…you couldn’t bleed the clock for a gw fg in that situation like we have seen in games past…the chiefs defense was getting the best of us late and you absolutely take the open td if it’s there.
this hindsight over analysis is going overboard…even if he takes that throw to diggs there’s still a very good chance we get held out of the end zone and lose the game then we’d all be here saying ‘why would he pass up a wide open td we were playing not to lose’ yada yada
If it doesn't make sense then I don't know what to tell ya, also why do you assume they bleed the clock for a FG? You take what the D gives you and multiple times there were WRs crossing wide open that would easily gotten 1st down to keep the drive going.
3 minutes ago, Wraith said:Not sure we are talking about the same play. There was 2 times in particular I recall that a WR was open crossing that would have been a 1st down and Josh didn't take it

Just when you thought that the Bills strategy all along had been to burn the clock and end up with the ball last..........the only real chance they had to win this game.........they come out of the 2 minute warning with a shot play for no reason.
I don't know what game people were watching but the play there was to take small gains, bully their way to a couple more first downs just as they had been doing for most of the game.......and force KC to use up their timeouts.
THEN worry about scoring the touchdown.
I can't understand what they were thinking during that timeout.
Totally appropriate ending to their season though.
Agreed! I don't get it either, so frustrating seeing WR's running across wide open that easily would have been a 1st down and for whatever reason Josh didn't take it smh

Frustrating that James Cook dropped ANOTHER pass that would have likely been a TD. He improved as a RB in his 2nd year obviously, but anyone that still says he's got good hands and is a reliable pass catching RB should get a swift round house kick to the side of the mouth

mahomes played pretty efin good against the dolphins. he stepped it up a notch. i like our chances but ain't betting a penny.
Not to take anything from Mahomes, but Fins just looked like they didn't even want to be there. They didn't look like they were ready compared to the week before against the Bills.
Maybe the Bills snatched out whatever bit of soul they had left? Idk

the rookie has had 6 games played under his belt since the last meeting, 64 has held his own.
I'm not saying he hasn't held his own.

On a Positive note:
KC has played 2 playoff games in our current stadium. Bills won both convincingly
91 Divisional & 93 AFC Championship
Bills 37-14 & Bills 30-13
While that is a fact, unfortunately it means nothing lol

Hope we can do better with Chris Jones this time. Was watching a little bit of the replay of Bills-KC and noticed Jones lined up against the rookie Torrence quite a bit. So Jones took advantage of that and had a pretty big game.

Concern but only because of the injuries. Feel like the offense has found a little confidence and swagger.
But that D has been through hell and back and add in the issues with special teams. It is a lot to overcome.
They can do it! But it’s asking a lot.
I think that says a lot about the job McD has done (even though some may not want to admit it). Through everything this defense has really done well. Credit to Beane also of course.

Absolutely!! I mean it's well known Josh always likes going to the left and it's starting to get stopped by defenses.

Why do people still act like the game ended if that play existed. The Bills still had plenty of time to go score again.
YES!! Exactly....They said that on GMF this morning. Talking about only an Offside call away from this game being played in KC. For some reason they apparently believe after that play the clock was on 0 instead of over a minute left with timeouts at the same time fully aware of what Josh Allen has done in that amount of time.
3 minutes ago, FilthyBeast said:Agree but if you look at Mahomes through the years, particularly in the playoffs he's killed teams with his legs as much as JA17 has.
He had 2 carries for 40 yards against the Dolphins and with the prospect of the Bills starting a bunch of backups in the back seven you better believe Reid and Mahomes will attack that, not necessarily with designed runs, but Mahomes taking off for smaller runs of 5-7 yards to get tough yards and 1st downs when needed.
This guy.....

Fallout? Not sure there would be much.
Beane remains GM. McDermott remains HC.
Joe Brady will either be named OC or they'll do a more thorough search. I'd bet on a defensive coordinator being hired, likely Babich or Washington.
The Bills will draft and sign some players. Some players will leave in free agency.
Then they'll line up and play again next year and be top five in Super Bowl odds again, because they're a good team with a good roster and an elite QB. The window is open and will remain open.
Agree with you, there probably won't be any "fallout" at this point considering how they finished the season.
As for the bold, I think Brady has clearly done enough to earn him the OC job. Also not sure they hire DC either because McD has honestly done a pretty damn good job. Who knows though, anything can happen.
-
One of the main things for me (besides all the injuries of course), I'm curious to see how Brady gameplans for KC defense this time. I'd hope since playing them only a few weeks ago that he should have a little better idea finding ways to attack it.
I really don't expect KC to change up how they play defense very much from what they did against Bills few weeks ago because they had success and gave Josh some trouble holding Bills to only 20 points.
Would anyone agree with that?

Bass manned up and spoke to the media. Diggs dissapeared during playoffs, then ducked the media

It may seem that way now, but I wouldn't be shocked if something happens and he won't be.
