2020s Buffalo Bills are The Miami Dolphins of the 90s
Beast replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
You’re talking one ***** bounce on one play in 63 year franchise history. I think everyone in this thread besides you realize what I meant when I said you need to have luck to lose it. -

I don’t consider making a play and forcing a fumble luck. I consider that making a play. -
If intentional someone’s ass should be fired. That is bush league. Even George Steinbrenner insisted the attendants at Yankee Stadium not shut off the stadium lights until the Red Sox were done celebrating their historic comeback over his Yankees. Now you can contribute more. https://nypost.com/2024/01/22/sports/chiefs-donovan-smith-accuses-bills-of-shutting-off-their-hot-water/

Why wouldn’t he? Two totally different injuries.

Remind me when this team ever had a shred of luck. You need to have something before one runs out of it. -
Rivers couldn’t hold Allen’s jock.

The Bills back 7 should look much better than what we saw yesterday by just getting players healthy. That, and an upgrade at WR, and I see no reason, other than injuries, as to why the Bills shouldn’t be contending again next season.

If you are referring to his throw to Shakir in the endzone you, and every single other person that holds view, is 100% wrong. That was the correct read and throw. The ball just didn’t get there.

Pick 3 Current Bills You Would Pick To Start A Team With

Have fun picking top 5 for the next 3 seasons. -
I don’t think he’s the same in the playoffs as the regular season. Not one bit. 3-0 in his last 3 regular season games against the Chiefs….all on the road and the defense played great in all of those games. 0-3 in his last 3 playoff games against the Chiefs….and his defense sucked in every one of those games.

Sean is 0-6 against division winners in the playoffs. That should be enough to get your ass fired but we all know that isn’t going to happen this year. Next year should be his absolute last kick at the can. Head coaches have done more with a lot less behind center.

Again, for like the fifth time in this thread, it isn’t just about yesterday, though the Bills had their lowest yards per play in a half all season. It’s about what I saw from the offense down the stretch and, to be 100% honest, it was not all that different than it was under Dorsey. The run game was better. The pass game wasn’t. And I’m not dismissing Brady. I just want to see a search done.

1- Allen 2- Oliver 3- Kincaid -
Now we know that Belichick, for all the warts he had as a GM, did know when to get rid of players. I wish Beane had some of that in him.

We need to add a solid #1. We can’t rely on Diggs to be that. He still may be but relying on him to be that is foolish.

nostril damus predictions for the upcoming season
Beast replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
1- Miller is not walking away from 20 million plus dollars. 2- I believe you are correct. 3- not a huge deal but he will be gone. 4- we will see. 5- No 6- probable but if they do that without a legitimate search that will be a shame. 7- he will ask for a trade and it won’t be granted due to salary cap reasons. 8- TBD -
It’s not about one game to me. I wasn’t complaining about our offense last night. I think they did good overall but the passing game was just OK. When KC shut our running game down better we struggled. This is about very pedestrian efforts through the air against a lot of teams down the stretch. The Chargers, Patriots, Dolphins….all games where our passing game looked mediocre at best. Games they certainly won but eeked them out probably more due to defensive efforts. So I disagree that we wouldn’t have made the playoffs without him. The defense carried the team down the stretch. The Last 7 games, to include the playoffs, the Bills offense scored 57 points.in the second half of games. That’s a three and a half game output of 16.2 points over 60 minutes. That simply is not good enough. At the very least that shouldn’t secure Joe Brady the job of being this teams offensive coordinator without competition.

He took over mid-season and basically had to run Dorsey’s offense. Our passing game really never got on track under him. Was Dorsey’s offense the reason? Was it the lack of play-making wide receivers (then why fire Dorsey) Was it something else? The Bills, with Josh Allen as their QB, need to be an offense that you expect to put up 30 points a game. The Bills struggled to do that way too often. Tight games against inferior opponents. Even during the winning streak. Brady may be the answer. I just don’t know. What I do know is I would search high and low for any and all offensive minds that are available and I’d get on this ASAP. As in today. You can’t wait around for a week or two because other teams are looking. The Bills can’t screw around with this and not look to see if there are better options. Like I said, Brady may be the guy that gets the job anyway but it certainly shouldn’t be by default. If it is, that is our first mistake in what is now our off-season.
