  1. I believe they will get this season in. All 16 games. I just think it may take a little longer than originally planned.
  2. I agree with a lot of that. I also just saw the Saints player was a false positive so that is good news as well. I think the next two to three weeks will be interesting to say the least.
  3. But, from what I understand, and I could be wrong here......is that sometimes you may not test positive for up to 48 hours after exposure. Could multiple players be taking the field that are carriers?
  4. And, again, with what happened with the Patriots game, how can the Saints game be played today if a player tested positive yesterday?
  5. Then why is the Patriots/Chiefs game postponed? Sorry you weren’t’ paying attention to that.
  6. There is also the Saints player that tested positive the day before the game. How does the NFL handle that? Seclude him and send the rest of the players out to play with the possibility some are infected but have yet to give a positive test? The Patriots game was postponed with one positive test that happened the day prior.
  7. I agree about the freak out since March but I think you’ll see the NFL shut down for a bit by the end of this month. I mean, if a player test positive the day before, or the day of, a game, how can the NFL move forward with that game when there could be multiple other players infected that have yet to test positive? I don’t have the answers but this doesn’t look good.
  8. Do you realize what would need to go into this Bubble idea? Where would teams practice? Meals? Locker Rooms? Multiple NFL suitable stadiums? How could you have multiple Bubbles when there are out of conference games to be played? Scheduling would also be impossible. The NFL can’t play in consecutive days, or even close to that, compared to baseball, hockey or basketball. A bubble in the NFL is literally impossible. There is no infrastructure in place that could support that idea.
  9. I don’t believe anyone is freaking out but a break in play is pretty inevitable. These guys aren’t in a bubble and there seems to be an uptick in cases right now. A week ago today there were no positives. Look at what happened in 6 days. It is what it is.
  10. Where are you at to say Jesus Christ I’m over reacting now, @ScottLaw
  11. No. I want to see the Bills and Chiefs play. I mean, who isn't looking forward to that game?
  12. Agreed. The fair thing to do for the Chiefs would be to move the Bills/Chiefs game to Sunday.
  13. The NFL doesn't have the luxury of playing multiple times a week like the other three major sports leagues do.
  14. I don't know if you noticed but it appears two games won't be played tomorrow. At some point the schedule itself becomes a factorZ. So Jesus Christ right back at ya.
  15. Same here. In the Binghamton area there are currently twice as many positives as at any time during this crap. It is what it is.
  16. It's only a matter of time before the NFL shuts down. It seems another wave has started.
  17. I also watched him shred my Tide the year prior. And, no way in heck is Burrow ever taken over Lawrence. No way.
  18. Good for you that you don't believe the Lawrence hype. I've been watching football for 45 years and he is the best QB prosepect I've witnessed. I just hope the Jets win a few and miss out on him. I'll bet you any amount of money the Jets will land a top-flight coach if they end up with the #1 overall.
  19. Common sense in that the best will want to jump on the Jets bandwagon and ride the Lawrence train.
  20. People won't be laughing next season when they have Lawrence and a high profile, good HC.
  21. I believe the Bills need to start thinking about getting faster at Safety.
  22. Right, because competition is never good. Glad you taught me that.
  23. For a young guy to see a vet come in and have a good game, yeah, fear of losing playing time should be great motivation.
