Your going to need to surround him with rookie draft picks because no WR in FA is going to come to the team with the lowest passing offense without overpaying big time. At best Taylor is a bridge QB. If Taylor can prove me wrong by taking this team to the playoffs and winnng a playoff game then maybe you keep him beyond this season. For a defense getting a ton of turnovers and a RB like Shady we are just a QB away for being considered SB contenders.

I said after the draft if White play at a high level early and McCoy has a good season anything is possible. The only thing that holds us back as being a contender is the QB position and elite WR talent.

I would say injury to Shady or White would be brutal. I think with this defense and running game we could have Taylor go down for 3 weeks and have Peterman pass for 179 and a TD. But if Shady or White go down there is no replacement.

Taylor will make the pro bowl if 5 people drop out. No way does he have numbers to be in the pro bowl. If I were going to bet I would say Shady, White and Hughes have the best shot.

I would make a trade for AJ McCarron and draft a QB in the draft. See what McCarron can do while rookie sits his first year and hopefully pushes AJ in his 2nd year.

The Raiders offense with Carr healthy will be the biggest test for this defense. Top 3 O-Line, two major weapons at WR and Carr who I think is top 5 and will be one of the top 3 when Bree's and Brady hang it up. For us to even have a chance in this game it will take some crazy Buffalo weather so Carr can pass for Taylor type numbers.

I find it strange too, on his college tape he had glue on his hands, the guy caught everything. In pre season with Peterman he looked solid and now with Taylor he is dropping passes. Taylor just reminds me of a slightly better version of Colin Kaepernick, strong arm good mobile but no field vision or touch on his throws.

I always say if the ball hits your hands you should catch it but I will say after rewatching all the games on DVR that 80% of the throws to Jones are off target. On some of the shorter routes he looks surprised the ball is thrown so poorly.

1. You couldnt fire him before the draft because he knows your draft board and what players they were scouting. 2. There is no way, no way that McD didn't run that draft room. 3. The Bills firing Whaley after the draft is the perfect time to fire him. He was probably used more like a scout in his final months leading up to the draft. 4. I wanted Whaley fired 3 years ago, worst GM ever. I don't see other teams calling him for GM openings, the guy is a solid scout for defensive players but was absolutely the worst GM at evaluating QB and offensive players in general. Someone could make a pretty good list of QB's Failey passed on, 3 big names that come to mind are Cousins, Wilson, Carr.

If it was any other defense than the worst defense in the NFL I would say we probably lose that game.

I have nothing against Taylor, I just don't think his style of play will ever win us a playoff game. I hope we trade a LT and Taylor for a 1st rd pick to Denver. I still see him putting up the same numbers with much better weapons.

Jason Peters is a elite talent that we should've signed long term. Glenn is a solid pass blocker and better than average run blocker.

Can someone do this with Taylor on a weekly basis. I know 190 and a TD will be a short film but at least it will be easy for the person doing it.

I dont even know why a team would blitz Taylor, just drop into zone with tight windows and watch Taylor go happy feet.

If I remember correct Gilmore played almost 90% man coverage in Rex Ryan's defense. The Patriots play a ton of zone but switch it up a lot. Gilmore is a good CB but I think he will need until week 10 before he starts playing at a higher level.
