If he trusts his big WR's to make plays and places the ball like he did on that TD pass he will be hard to stop. Aaron Rodger, Tom Brady and Drew Bree's put such good touch and placement on the football that it cannot be defended. Hopefully we can see that from Peterman.
I was really hoping for the Bills to make a push for Burkhead. Big Husker fan, the guy has good hands, blocks and has good vision. He would've made the perfect number 2 RB with Tolbert strictly used for short yardage and goal line.
I rewatched his game against Clemson and I'm going to watch it again tonight. This guy is a true competitor, gamer, gunslinger. I still have rookie expectations but I feel so much better about this game vs the Chargers.
The talent level of that Clemson team over Pitt was just rediculous. The major reason Pitt won was because of Peterman who looked like a QB possessed to get his team a victory.
Im hyped about this weeks game and a big shout out to McD for having big brass balls.
There are 10 offenses that you need to come out firing against and the Saints are one of them. Keep your foot on the gas knowing that as soon as you let off the game is tied.
The defense was winded at halftime and it just snowballed from that point.
Taylor does not poses the passing ability to carry us to a win in a game like this.
With the way the rules are in the NFL their is no defense that will stop that saints offense. Drew Bree's fires his misses at us and we need to fire back. The only problem is our launcher is broken.
I think the Chargers have the best D line in the NFL. Just a shade better than the Jets. We will need to pass the football to win this game. Peterman gives us a better chance to at least win this game.
Lynn is hoping to god that we start Taylor, easy W.
It's Tyrod Taylor, he can't hit WR's in stride and he needs them to be open by 5 feet just to pass them the ball. His field vision is on the level of EJ and he has no touch on his throws.
No WR is going to want to come here in FA if Taylor is the QB. KB is probably at a shrine praying that McD starts Peterman against the Chargers.
Woods and Watkins both had big time college careers, you could see the talent to get open was there but just no QB to get them the ball.
I would equate it to having a Ferrari and putting a Ford Focus engine in it. The suspension, brakes and tires are top notch but they can never be truly tested or perform to the highest levels with such a weak engine.
The only way we have even a sliver of a chance of beating the Pats is if Peterman starts. Their is no way a Taylor led offense keeps up with the Patriots.
I have always said that Dareus has the god given talent to be the best DT to ever play the game. The guy has gone through a lot of horrible tragedies in his life. He is a good player but when you add in that contract with the fact that he was one strike away from close to a full season suspension I think the Bills made the only move they could in trading him.
I would like to see him one year come into a season without dealing with an injury in the offseason and in peak form. If he does he will be in the pro bowl easily.
If Peterman shows that he might be a good QB then we don't have to draft one high. With all the draft picks that we have and hopefully signing 2 big FA signings we could do a really quick turnaround.
I agree, I doubt Benjamin would even sign long term with Taylor as QB. He has never trusted his WR's to make plays because of his ineffectiveness as a passer.
