  1. Really?.....You're not a classic rock guy? Theres got to be a song between the two that you like.
  2. I'm sitting out here on a beautiful day and sweet home alabama is playing, and the verse "Southern man don't need him around anyhow" passes by. Im sure most of you know the story. Which side are you on, and by that I mean who's music do you like better.
  3. well..........they're definitely not loafing. What a shot.
  4. Spain/Portugal is turning into a hot one.
  5. Probably why he's in counseling. I belive the phrase is "eat an apple through a chain link fence"
  6. Go Argentina according to my results. Maybe i'll throw some $ on them while im hot. I cashed my Belmont tickets and didnt realize the payout for the trifecta was $222 on a one dollar bet instead or $2. Extra 222 in the slush fund.
  7. I can't hold the second part against him.
  8. That whole statement is is a mess 6 ways to Sunday. I had to read it 4 or 5 times to find out what she was trying to say, and it now that it makes sense, it's even worse.
  9. Right on.........Chuck Todd isn't a step down. He's a a whole flight of steps down.
  10. I'm a little less impressed than most I guess. I think she/the show really played up the whole shy schtick before she went on to make it seem like she really became a whole different person. Granted, it's pretty damn good for a 13 year old, but there's some acting in there as well..............an also as mentioned above, the scorpion thing was complete bull ****. If I was paying to see a show it would be some of that virtual reality stuff, something new, not some 13 year old cover band or David Blaine ripoff.
  11. These games have taken more time out of my life than I care to admit.....i walk an extra 20 minutes because i dont want to drop a fork and make my load lighter so i can actually run. Its absurd. Assasins Creed and FIFA pulled me away from it for a while, but I never finished it. Im still on the fence regarding how I want to handle father.
  12. I'm right there with ya. I can mix it up in just about any social situation from a raffle at the rod and gun club to professional gatherings with colleagues. With that being said it's not something I enjoy, and as you mentioned maybe 5 or 10% of the people I would consider socializing with if I wasn't required to. My wife is very reserved. If we're out in a new scene it's completely on me to interact. It's a weird dynamic because I'm pretty much a hick from the sticks who never left home and she's traveled all over the world.
  13. Degrees get you in the door, but what you after that is where the rubber meets the road. I work with a guy who has a mathematics degree from MIT. We bith hold the same position, but when there is an issue 95% of the time my phone is ringing not his. He's a super smart person and a good dude, but there's academia and there's the real world. I much rather have someone in my corner who knows how to operate and make decisions on the fly than someone who has a degree from a prestigious university. Some of the brightest people I've worked with have no degree at all.
  14. Post the adress of every school in a 100 mile radius on Facebook.
  15. Golden showers? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  16. Watching it now.....such a cool dude. What a bummer. Huge loss. Probably the only time I'll watch cnn this year.
  17. Justify!!!!!........Nailed the tri and exacta to boot ?
  18. Somewhere along the line I became afraid of heights Im pressure washing my siding today, and am scared **** less when i i get up to abot 18 feet. The damn ladder starts shaking. Im thinking the peak on the second story is just going to have to stay as it is.
  19. I didnt want to come off too sappy, but between you and me we do a kiss in the household. Kids onbthe cheek mamma a little extra.
  20. I never served my country, but I did do some drugs. Nothing that i would consider debilitating or significant enough ro make a huge impact on my life on the whole, but I can relate to the rest of your statemet "robbed me of mental emotions. I don't cry when I should,I don't listen enough and I don't tell people I love them when I should." One thing i make sure to do is to tell my wife and kids and mom " I love you" every time we separate.
  21. I had about 6 edits to get it right, but I refuse to take the heat on that. On my list of problems thats about # 206.
  22. Kind of a broad topic and I'm not talking about physical stuff (i.e birth defects and other acts of God). More along the lines of what traits would you improve on to make you a better person? 1. Patience - I fly off the handle and get frustrated very quickly when things don't go as planned. 2. Empathy- my 28 score isnt a great thing. 3. Intellectually - Ive always been terrible at math. Im doing some training and its frustrating that Im struggling with the same stuff i have since highschool.
