Johnny Lawrence trying to learn how to use a computer was priceless!!! Yeah overall it was enjoyable. A fan of KK, even Parts 2 and 3. It did a decent job brining the storyline to today's teens I guess while still using some of the original storylines/music. I just didn't care for the way season 2 ended, I'll kind of leave it there without giving it away to anyone else reading this

Sums him up well. I might add though one of his strengths I think is a certain amount of professionalism he brings to the game. Yeah the few games he started with the Browns he wasn't great but I think he was a good mentor in the process for Baker. Notice how Baker's head was still straight for 2018. Imo anyway part of that was having a sort of presence like that around he looked up to.

I never really took the A-Rod/J-Lo bid serious. The Wilpons just don't strike as me people who will let a Rodriguez and a Lopez infiltrate their ranks, I'll just leave it there. Even if they sell the team, they strike me as not going away anytime soon and will still want some control. I'll believe it when I see it.

He often frustrated me a lot of times as QB but it certainly speaks to his character he's still beloved by a lot of Bills fans. Even if today he's the starting Miami QB. But yeah hope it all works out for him

I thought while visiting Williamsville/Amherst last summer it was very nice. I hear what your saying but I always find overall a friendliness in Buffalo I don't always find everywhere. People willing to help out strangers kind of thing

I finally checked out the movie. I'm not a Buffalonian so I can't speak as much as some people here how the attention to detail was with the Buffalo references but I thought it wasn't bad. Pop, the brother drinking Genesee, wings, and the love for the Bills were all displayed. At the beginning it did seem to portray Buffalo as a city with a major inferiority complex but it got better as the movie went along. Much like the movie itself the main character Peg to me was somewhere in the middle in the likability factor. She was a hustler who scalped fake Bills tickets at times but she was shown to have a heart at other times as well. Overall it's not a bad watch. On a personal note the last line of the movie cracked me up

Better Call Saul specifically is what came to mind. The 5th season isn't available on Netflix. My friend told me to DVR it when it AMC was doing a marathon of it. It just occurred to me know why she told me that. But I thought it was fairly common in general?

I'm a Met fan but I do recall those early 90's Yankee teams well. I was still in grade school. Where I live oddly enough the Mets were on the premium Sports Channel and my dad didn't want to pay for it. So Yankee games I watched a lot of on MSG. Watching those games taught me the fundamentals of the game. I still recall Mel hitting a walk off HR on Memorial Day I believe against the Red Sox. It's where Da Yankeesss win phrase might have started. My personal nostalgia aside, I mean maybe the girls parents thought he was their meal ticket? The snack shack story I did love though.

I'm a bit old school/outdated when it comes to electronics. If I wanted to be able to DVR shows on my TV what would be the best way? A DVR player. Or just get a new TV with it included? My TV is already 10 years old. thanks

The 2014 win against the Packers might have been the height of glimmers of hope during the drought years for me in thinking the Bills had a good team. I remember still thinking playoffs were unlikely that year after the win but I thought the team had a solid coach/defense/foundation to build on for years to come. But like life things don't always go as you expect

Yeah both Marino and Jim Kelly I think scored low on that test, so what does that tell you? I've always though the intelligence aspect with Fitz was overrated. I'd say his work ethic and personality is how he was able to have as lengthy a career as he's had. And when can you honestly remember a teammate ever saying anything bad about him? He had Stevie's back after the dropped pass versus the Steelers. Used to routinely throw blocks for Spiller against defenders. I mean I guess you can say that requires intelligence to adapt to all the new teams he's had over the years but I think that's more to do with being flexible.

One of my favorite things to do on a basketball court is see how far a distance I can shoot it in from. One time I made it from the other 3 point line across mid court. So I can get the fun aspect of it But yeah even “friendly” competition here just seems kinda immature to an extent

Sometimes it’s just a good talking point. Like my moms family were all sports fans. Even though I stopped playing after a while it can be a fun thing to talk about instead of politics, religion, etc...

I know Doug Flutie is a polarizing figure on these boards but I thought it was cool in the 98 season he was already in his mid 30s when he came into arguably his best years. Same with Vinny Testaverde that year with the Jets. Was in his mid 30s and a journeyman QB that finally came into his own. Heck I even remember Steve DeBerg that year being resigned at age 44 with the Falcons as that was the trend at the time. Is today’s NFL built for that at all? I know the question might seem a bit out there but as I get older I love redemption stories

When I saw Mets win 1-0 I figured lack of fans had something to do with the low score. But it looks like Jake did his thing ? At least imo anyway it'll be strange following baseball this year
