McDermott's first Offensive Coordinator hire back in 2017
MiltonWaddams replied to Bag of Milk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah. Why don’t we just go with the person who provides the most insight as a commentator? I’m going with Tony Romo. I think there’s a bit more to being an offensive coordinator than you think. Nobody just comes off the field and becomes an offensive coordinator. they go through many stages of coaching -
Like most of you, growing up Michigan was a college powerhouse. They had the Fab five in basketball and were always in the mix for national titles in football. How the mighty have fallen. That program is in shambles. Ann Arbor is a really pretty town and I’ve had a few good visits there. Playing basketball at the Crisler Arena/Center was one of my better memories. It continues to be a good scholastic program, but I’m not sure how long it will take for their athletics programs to return to prominence, if ever. Their leadership completely blew it.

My condolences for your loss. I wish that his last game wasn’t last weeks. I can guarantee you that he deserved better.

I liked how he united the team, and he showed to be a high-quality individual. But, with all of the money that that team is making and what they’re worth, they need to see some higher level results. I don’t think he was ever going to deliver that. you need a new voice and a new philosophy in that locker room. Lucky for everyone else in the AFC, that voice is Josh McDaniels, who has had a history of failure in that very same division.

Josh is playing in the Pebble Beach pro am next week.

Golf. Not so strenuous on the body. Messes the ***** outta my mind though. -
He won’t retire, he just “won’t work here anymore”

I think that may be the most obvious statement I’ve ever read here. Thank you for your insight.

Brian Daboll hired to be Head Coach of NY Giants
MiltonWaddams replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s how many carries he will get in the first game, then his legs will implode and that problem will be solved. No legs. No running. -
Agree with the first two. O’Brien was given too much control in Houston, but that offense was not the issue. His attitude is the piece to overcome, but he’s a good oc.

Not Nagy!

Twitter is full of facts. Nothing but facts. Lots of facts. Or, maybe it’s just hyperbole -

I had to laugh. I pictured a hobo getting the play calls in from the sidelines and Jackson Mahomes behind him doing TikTok dances -

It’s tough to know who is really behind that offense in Kansas City. There has to be a reason that Eric Bieniemy hasn’t got a head coaching position at this point. -

Sounds like wink Martindale is going to be the DC for the Giants. -

No. I just like throwing out names. But, he does have experience with the offense and, as stated, the team really likes him. Besides, we need to make sure there’s at least one guy on the sidelines with long flowing locks. -

Chad Hall as OC? He’s definitely a locker room favorite. -
TB12 method.

I can’t blame a guy for being upset. He came up big when he was needed, but was pushed aside for a receiver that had no yards after completion and whose body seems to have broken down. That’s nothing against Beasley, but if I was the other slot receiver who had the results that l’il dirty had, I would be pretty frustrated as well.

I could see Wilson there. He’d end up in a worse offense, getting hit more than in Seattle and with inferior offensive weapons, but he’d be in on that “storied tradition”.

My heart is still recovering, but thankfully it hasn’t quit on me and nor will I ever quit on being a fan. If you say “I quit”, then follow through. Be the best quitter you can be!

We are all together on this one. That was as debilitating a loss as we have experienced since the Super Bowls. It was way worse than the AFC championship last year because we had it in our grasps. 12 seconds and self detonate and then a coin flip loss to decide a game. I’m having a hard time clearing my head. I have run out of booze, and work tomorrow anyways. Just completely heartbroken. Are you saying Josh doesn’t deserve better? You’re damn right he does.
