  1. Prejudice? No. The question I posed was in relation to those that cannot see the inequality and injustice that he is protesting against. I happen to fall into the white, heterosexual male category but I see the issue clearly. I travel with a good friend who is African-American. It's a running joke that he's going to get "randomly selected " for a search at the airport. 100% of the time he does. Not a word of a lie. He has been ticketed twice for jay walking. Jay walking!! He was pulled out of his car and cuffed last year when he was caught going 12 mph over the limit. The guy owns his own business, is s model citizen, is as friendly a himan as you will ever know and is completely treated this way because of the color of his skin. I believe protesting that snd drawing attention to that is very important.
  2. Thoughts and prayers to the Thomas family. May God grant them the strength to see the light through this dark time.
  3. Page 1 and the thread should have ended here. For those thinking he "disrespected the anthem and the flag", do you value a song more than the people it represents? This is my major issue with the "anti-Kaepernick" and anti-anthem kneeling crowd. What do the song and the nation for which it was written really mean if the people are subjected to the discrimination that they are subjected to in this nation every day? I've got to assume you are a white heterosexual male if you don't see it.
  4. Well played good sir, well played. 🍺
  5. Not that big of a surprise there. Tennessee looked to be on the fast track to success....then the injury bug hit and they started to look straight out-coached in every game. Mularkey is a perfect fall guy. As for McDaniels, Tenn would seemingly be the type of opportunity he has been holding out for. The talent is there and they should have good draft position to improve upon it further. Good connection of the dots.
  6. Someone needs to find him. He was a fantastic troll. Troll Hall of Famer really.
  7. I was at the Game in Seattle last year and it was so nice to see a good, standard rowdy crew of drunk Bills fans/tailgaters that weren't body slamming or trashing tables or jumping through fire. It's ridiculous! My friends who aren't Bills fans just laugh at me. More than one have asked "how are those your people?" They aren't! They happen to cheer for the team I do, but they make a mockery out of us all. It needs to end. People are getting hurt and it's just getting worse.
  8. I too am tired of winning! Now I sleep well on Sunday nights and enjoy time with my family all week long! My friends and colleagues actually want to talk about the Bills! I save money on Sunday night Rum and Cokes formerly purchased to drown my sorrows! I want the solitary, miserly me back!
  9. 9 years on the board as VanCity. My log-in stopped working one day. Couldn't ever receive the e-mail to have it updated. Had to press reset. Sad day, but I kinda like my new screen name better. Cheers!
  10. I get it, but take it to PPP. Let's just leave the discussion to actual football here.
  11. DT was a relative revelation in the passing game yesterday and made Clay so expendable. This regime loves to tinker and, based on the results, their tinkering is a very, very good thing for us fans. The weeks up to the trade deadline are going to be interesting in these parts.
  12. 6:42am in Sydney, Australia and I woke up early to watch this?!!!
  13. It's like the dline went to ribfest this morning. They are in lala land right now
  14. I generally like the 25 yards, but sometimes you need a spark. I'll accept the 24.
  15. Just plain bad. Second half d needs to wake up! DL is horrific
  16. Same story every game this year. Rico is clueless
  17. Well, that "drive " sucked.
  18. I'm with Alphadawg. I love the city of Buffalo, and it is where my greatest football memories lie, but I'm not from Buffalo. I go to Buffalo for the games and the tailgating. I would be immensely disappointed if the team moved, as I feel as though we are as good a fanbase as exists in pro sports, but I know that I would follow them and wear my JK, Biscuit or Bruce jersey to wherever they played. Let us all hope this never occurs!
  19. While you are not wrong, the offense is going to need all the help the D can provide in the coming weeks. With no O players the caliber of Bowman being available, it sure wouldn't hurt to try and make our D more potent.
  20. Combined Record of teams with said former Bills WR's: 6-9
  21. Let's press reset again!!! Fire Rico, Crossman and Frazier. These guys coaching a lower talent level 3-2 team that beat 2 of the top 5 teams in the league in the past 3 weeks should be canned. I mean, who couldn't win with the band of misfits currently assembled?
