absolute nonsense, he doesn't help us run the ball better and likely turns it over. Nothing is saving the team this year, time to tank.
I am not saying it would have been better with Peterman but a threat of a QB throwing would have loosened up the run. We ran every first down throughout the whole first half and you can plan for that. They got too regimented and that hurt, maybe it was because the QB couldn't complete a pass
-
The big problem was they knew we were going to rush 1st down every time and they were prepared.

The Bills get hate because there are a lot of New England fans.
You mean bandwagon fans? So easy to start cheering for a winner....

Let's say Tyrod goes through a demonstration like Kaep has and sits during the national anthem, would he still be unemployed? I don't think he would. He has a better running game and looks to care about the game. Take the whole sitting part away and I see Tyrod as a role model, I never saw Kaep that way.

That 1st qtr holding call on Richie was a complete miss by the refs. Thank God for our left side because Mills and the right side struggled....
I'm guessing Mills eventually gets jettisoned and when that happens we will be solid on the Right side. Either Dawkins or Henderson will be huge upgrades.

It was great to take care of business and beat a team that many expect to land the #1 overall pick in next years draft. But the next three weeks will essentially determine this teams fate for the rest of the season.
On paper the Bills should lose against the Panthers, Broncos and Falcons which would translate into a 1-3 record. But thankfully the games aren't played on paper.
And as of right now I still think the Panthers and Falcons are guaranteed losses by default since they both road games against vastly superior teams and QB's. Denver looked pretty good last night but it was at home and I don't think Simian is anywhere close to the type of QB's Newton and Ryan are.
Still thinking 2-2 is best case which would ensure the season isn't lost by Halloween, but if we do lose all 3 then it's time to start thinking about the bills own chances of landing the #1 overall pick next year.
Best case is always going to be 4-0 until we play the game. I think 3-1 is realistic. Falcons looked pedestrian against the Bears as did the Broncos with the Chargers. The Bears and Chargers aren't better than the Bills. Panthers I don't know what will happen but I could see the Bills pulling out 3 wins. It certainly doesn't look as formidable a schedule as it did a week ago though.

I thought we were going to bring back Hodges after the first game for a discount - guess they like Jenkins better
fixed
Jenkins is better

If the Bills shut down the Pathers run game Bills will win by 10
Cam is a shell of him self 178 yards passing against the 49ers. His shoulder is not right. He was sailing passes all day. Shut the Pathers run down and the Bills will win. You heard it here first. Plus Sean knows this team like the back of his hand. Bills are headed to a 3-0 start.
Not only do we have to shut down their rushing attack we have to score. Our team yesterday won but didn't look too good doing it. The Jets looked bad and I wouldn't put too much into this win. The Bills have to get better.
-
Interesting his last two coaching spots are left to try and fix his messes and he essentially got two GMs fired....
-
This team's success will rely heavily on defense and the RB. Our defense will be a lot more solid last year and we have a top 3 RB. 31st is not appropriate

Williams looked exceptional in the preseason this is a crazy move that i simply don't get.
Tolbert and Banyard looked good as well. I bet it had more to do with Oline depth.

Buying season tickets now seeing what their doing, their gonna blow everybody out from Whaley's draft and smile about it
Whaley got a lot of talent but also got undisciplined players that couldn't stay healthy. You got to believe Dareus would have been cut or traded if they never put that huge contract together.
-
It is best to have a backup man multiple positions and he is better suited for all interior. If someone gets injured you don't have to move everyone around to make it work. Chances are if he took more snaps though he would be hated just as much as everyone else.
-
I'm guessing that while former players know a little of what is going inside those four walls at OBD there are probably details they aren't aware of. Plus whenever there is turnover like this it will require adjusting personalities and expectations on the fly.

I was really high on Zay Jones coming out of college. Totally ecstatic that the Bills drafted him. So far this preseason his stats won't blow you away but his maturity, football IQ and route running have really shined through so far. I think Jones can be special. Just wondering what your thoughts on him so far and the entire draft class for that matter. I put together a breakdown on him if you're interested.
Not saying he is elite but it's the preseason and you haven't seen the offense click yet. Hoping it is only because they are holding back in a major way
-
The problem is not the scheme but the Line coach teaching presnap position, anchoring and winning battles. We had a top three Oline coach under contract that we let walk out the front door. Kromer coaching those guys would have guaranteed a playoff spot with our defense

Its funny, literally no one would want Kaepernick here if he didn't sit for the national anthem. He was good under Harbaugh for two year but hasn't been even half good for years. I would look at Shaun Hill and Josh Freeman or even see if Logan Thomas can take some snaps the last week of preseason if Taylor and Yates aren't long term concussion protocol candidates.

In today's LA Times, Sammy said the following about working with Rams QB Jared Goff: "The more reps you get with him, the more he can trust you and the more comfortable he is with throwing the ball to you, Watkins said. [its great] to have a guy that doesnt even look your way, just look the safety off and throw you the ball, because he depends on you to be at the right spot.
As compared to...
I get the statement but I think it's obvious we know Goff has talent but Watkins should wait till he sees him in a legit game. Goff was horrible game time...

Much respect for McCoy because what he says it 100% true, no one wants that distraction. The subject matter is completely important but Kaepernick could have gone about things in a more constructive manner. We as a country need to figure out how to not be so divisive. What Kaepernick did was to bring attention to himself and nothing more and that is what he got. At that point in his career he already reached his peak and was looking for a way to be relevant.

This offense is reliant on crisp route running, something Johnson never could master. Although Taylor is pretty good with improvisation
-
-
Neither can pass at an elite level but at least Taylor is special when it comes to keeping the play alive. I bet we aren't seeing the real Tyrod until the regular season so just be patient.
-
Oh please because you googled it. It's pronounced exactly as I typed it
Actually it would hawkulee if you were going the sound it out route, which brings me to how hard is it to look the guy's name up before you type?

Kromer is one of the top 3 Oline coaches in the league so Castillo no matter how you look at it is a downgrade. That being said Glenn makes Taylor more confortable than whoever the backup is.

I have two words for you in regards to the offensive line, Aaron Kromer. He was so good at what he does and it was a shame to lose him even under contract. Castillo is a huge step back and I will keep saying it. Now with that said a healthy Glenn makes a big difference too and I should think Henderson if he gets back to playing condition would be an enormous upgrade over Mills.
