Tampa does get to play against the AFC East next year
Lamar Jackson???
Nope not the same... Don't get me wrong Jackson can run but the lateral quickness and the ability to juke someone out on a dime is something that I haven't seen since.

When Tiger Woods appeared on the PGA scene, he instantly changed the game of golf. He could drive farther than all the others except the muscle guys who had no other game. And Woods had all the other game elements as well.
The other players looked at each other and realized they weren't in Kansas anymore, and they all figured out how to up their own games, or they quit.
I'm seeing quarterback play in the NFL at a higher level than I can remember. Where once only Rogers could make certain throws, now there's Mahomes and Allen. and sometimes Wilson. Where once only Cam Newton could run well as a big man, now there's Allen. And suddenly there are half a dozen smaller QBs who can run like only Vick used to be able to do.
There were some other players with these talents here and there through the years as well, whom I haven't mentioned, but not the flood of talent that we're seeing now.
Players like Brady and the Manning boys, who could work from the pocket and win, are going to have a tough time competing with multi-dimensional players.
I wonder whether this is a change in the talent mix that's available, or maybe the OCs and the game itself are now figuring out they need to accommodate what these guys have to offer. Greg Roman was a so-so OC in Buffalo. He got to Baltimore and became a genius. He also has Lamar Jackson, what a coincidence. Roman's genius was to let Jackson be Jackson, and not try to limit him with what Flacco could do.
I know this is not your point but there was only one Michael Vick. No QB can do what he did with the moves he had. He was Randall Cunningham on a higher level.

That was wildly overreactive on McDermott's part and one of the few times I'll give him grief for an in-game decision.
You want to make a point and sit him for a couple series? OK, fine. Use it as a teaching moment.
But Moss has a unique skillset among our backs and is the only guy we have that can drop his pad level to get tough extra yards.
Whether it's goal to go or short yardage downs, Moss has become an integral part of this team that does a job that nobody else can do. There were multiple instances throughout that game where we could have really used him out there and McDermott gluing him to the bench for virtually the entire game accomplished nothing more than to hurt the rest of the team.
I don't think it was because he fumbled but because of where he fumbled. Two times that are unforgiveable fumbles are when you have a small lead at the end of a game and have the ball and when you are in the 5 yard line. Situation dictates the benching. Besides the defense needed to be shown since they stopped the 49ers on 4 straight plays that the coach doesn't think its ok.

I don't know. Our inability to stop anything on the Chargers first drive makes me think this will either be a shootout or a blowout.
You mean second drive, first was 3 and out

Good article. I doubt the Bills would have played out the same way in fact they probably would have ruined Mahomes. Andy Reid was the right coach for him. On the other hand Allen is a Buffalo QB. I think it played out well.

We are more likely to get a FG from the 50 than a punt inside the 20.

They can't be us till they beat us. I see only one 4-0 team against the AFC east

Just curious who is at Center? I'm not watching but I'm guessing that since we can only succeed with Bates at Center it must be him.

Looks like we aren’t trusting Allen anymore passing the ball
just keep running the ball I guess
Interesting take....

I wonder if it might be wise to see if we can pick up Alex Mack in a trade....

Not sure why Bates got moved from center.
Just a guess but the Center and QB have to be comfortable with each other and maybe Allen didn't like how the ball was coming out?

Why are people upset about a CB to add to the competition. I don't care if he is from a horrible defense. Everyone is playing bad on that D so maybe the coaching is the issue. We need depth. I highly doubt he will be replacing White or Norman or Wallace....

Actually the Bills are favored and the line has been increasing.
I'm not talking about lines, I'm talking about sportscasters picking the Pats

I think this is Cam not buying into the past philosophy. Every game is a must win and him putting more emphasis in public about this game is not generally what they do.
-
Of course the Pats are always favored. No mention of how half our team and coaches played and coached Cam and right now he is their only offense and he isn't doing well either....
-
I find it interesting the Patriots are 2-4 and all of a sudden Gilmore is no longer considered the best CB.

I think you will see a lot of one year deals because of this. Its not a Bills problem, it's a league wide problem.
