  1. Dallas Texans became Kansas City Chiefs

Los Angeles Chargers became San Diego to LA

    Boston Patriots became New England

Oakland Raiders became LA to Oakland to Las Vegas

Miami I thought wasn't original but I might be wrong

Denver I think is the other original

Also Houston Oilers became Tennessee Titans

  2. I attended the game Sunday and what I saw was a bad offensive line. They were getting dominated, there were holds on us and the Bengals were in the backfield before Lesean got the ball. LeSean is totally taking one for the team as well as Tyrod but the pass defense is actually somewhat passable at this point. Problem with the passing game is Tyrod is not a good enough quarterback to make Zay look good. I also find it interesting that people were complaining that Tyrod can't throw in the middle of the field last year and now he doesn't throw anything to the perimeter anymore. The Dbs were good but the first TD was dumb to not safety help. White slipped on a juke by Green and that was all he needed. They recovered from that but Green had a great game. A dry game would have hurt Green because he was quick on jukes, plant and run was a lot of what I saw. White did well but not elite unfortunately people don't see it they just see him giving up that long pass.

  3. We all know that loss was the obvious lynch pin for them to say, "OK, we were dreadful on offense (still) and we are going to continue to get pummeled very soon if we don't change things up."

If Zay and TT connect on that pass in the Carolina game, and we start 2-0, I honestly think this team really could be 2-2 now as they would have likely stayed the course at that point.

    What say you?

If they had no desire to improve from one game to the next you might have a point about being 2-2 but since they always look for ways to get better I would say no

  4. I agree this is a big game. Could easily fall into one of those trap type games. Still not that scared of them. Maybe their defense but not their offense.

That's how I felt seeing the Falcons coming back down the field. I just said "here we go again. Same old story I've seen a million times." did not expect that stop

It felt different against the Falcons to me. They could have let the Falcons score and I would have still had faith. The Broncos game is where I think you see the difference. Players are playing above themselves and they have the talent to match. Our defense is supposed to be that good and with exception of the outlier of the Panthers game, the offense should be that good. I think the Bengals will be a tough one but most of them our.

  5. Do people just sit around on Sundays and get offended? Looking at this forum, you wouldnt think the bills played great and beat a very good team yesterday.

People need to stop worrying about the players being politically correct and just enjoy the game

It's not so much offensive as what kind of grown man does these things. Two celebrations really rise to this stupidity, Moss's mooning and the dog peeing.

  6.

Humans are naturally racist. This is a big reason for why we're naturally so violent.

So a white baby that grows up in a group of hispanics will already have misconceptions of them? No people are not naturally racist. Experiences are what charge that thought, through media, through personal interaction and social status. People tend to believe what they are told

  7. News flash: The entire black experience goes well beyond your little childhood friend. I played tennis today at a park where out of 2 dozen plus people to pass through today, there was only one other caucassian. I'm a regular there. We take breaks under a shelter for shade, and I hear their life experiences. They don't make this stuff up for me, they're just talking about life. You are ignorant on this subject. (Not a personal attack - look up the definition of ignorant.)

This is unnecessary. I am sure of one thing I can never understand a man till I walk a mile in their shoes. Just like you can never judge me because that same thing is true. You claiming I am ignorant is not appropriate because you don't know my experience at all and yes I know what it means and it is a personal attack. I have had many friends of different races and people are treated differently based on stereotypes does that make it racial. I was in high school of 40% african american, if we were in Gym class and we played basketball I would pick the black guy first because there was a better chance that guy could jump and in general play better basketball. That's stereotyping not racist. There were a lot of hispanics that got in trouble and a lot of white people that got in trouble and it had nothing to do with race. You take this Trayvon Martin case that happened, the first report was a white guy that shot him and then it turned to a white hispanic why is that? This is where some media is fanning a flame that isn't there. People need to start thinking of these cases from an impartial standpoint and they will realize the hatred is sometimes more about us then whoever we think it is about. Is there injustice? Absolutely 100% agree but I think it has to deal with high crime areas and the way people portray themselves. Are there dirty cops? Absolutely, but I don't think anyone here can honestly say that that is not the exception. I think people that commit crimes need to be prosecuted fairly cop or citizen but to protest against cops when so many and some I know personally are very good people and what they do is protect us. They put their life on the line and sometimes they make quick decisions, for anyone that cares find out the whole story before you go protesting that another white (or black in some instances) cop shoots an african american.

  8. A kicker has the same right to express his opinion as any American. If you don't like it, don't read it. You don't have to agree with it.

I presume those who don't like it also don't like Scott Baio and Ted Nugent using their bully pulpits to express their opinions. Naturally. Because to laud them for speaking out while condemning someone else would make you hypocrites.

I agree with this. We are a free country and everyone has the right to express themselves

  9.

    You are not black.

There has been a definitive problem with racial profiling and police stops when it comes to African-Americans.

Simple... no matter how much you THINK you understand, these two undisputed facts (i.e. NOT assumptions) must mean you do not fully understand.

I'm not going to assume your background but I am fairly educated about racial profiling and how little it happens. The narrative a lot of times gets put forth by media and people run with it before the facts come out. Again how you act is a better indicator of how people profile you than your color based on experience. I have personal dealings that back this up and I am not making this up but you can assume what I do or do not know.

  10. Racism primarily exists because we talk about it. Are there people pulled over unfairly? Sure I have and I am not black. I lived in a huge black and hispanic community south of DC during my high school years and certain people were hassled more than others and it had nothing to do with race. Certain people were thugs (any race) and acted like it and were treated like it.

  11. For the record I have no issue with the Watkins deal despite his coming out party in primetime last night for the Rams. We all know his history here and at least we got something for him.

But make no mistake about it, just like with the Chiefs 1st rounder, this Rams 2nd round pick is also looking like it will in the bottom third of selections because this Ram's team is going to be decent this year and I wouldn't be surprised if they sneak up and win that division since the only real threat is the Seahawks whose offense is terrible and can't score either. Plus the Rams have owned that series in recent years anyway even with much worse teams.

I hope Terry Pegula paid attention last night though watching former Bills on both teams light it up and make plays. Beane and McDermott are not proven commodities and certainly don't deserve a '5 year plan' or whatever BS they are already likely feeding the Pegulas.

We are talking about the Rams who barely beat the 49ers.

  12. Let me know when Tyreek Hill is on the team.

I think our punt returner Clay can be that type of player but this isn't an Andy Reid offense and they won't be that innovative. Also what is the likelihood Clay will fumble the ball when the game is on the line....

How about a reverse flea flicker?

Like 1 every series until they stop it. Or even on back to back plays - they'll never expect that.

    :lol::lol::lol:

    Or try this play:

    http://youtu.be/VGdsHyBd56g

Roberts Woods isn't on the team anymore... Also did anybody get sad about the Rams offense (or should we say Buffalo west) yesterday with Woods and Watkins.

  13. We all saw the preseason. All of the preseason caveats notwithstanding, there was a prevailing thought that Nathan Peterman looked better in the offense than Tyrod. It was apparent Peterman got the ball out faster. He was poised. He seemed to process the defenses he faced much more quickly than Taylor.

We all saw the game yesterday. Taylor does not process quickly. We never saw a three-step drop and immediate throw. We could see his hesitation. We could see how late his throws to the outside were - he was nearly intercepted on two occasions.

Opponents know this and in response load up against the run. The counter play to this is to throw quickly. It's been called setting up the run with the pass. We've heard so much about the Bills having no receiving threats. I've grown weary of this. These are NFL receivers and an effective short passing game is possible with a quarterback that can see the field and process options. And why not throw long? Taylor did just that to an OPEN Zay Jones at the end of the game...right at the critical point the Panthers would have needed to defense a long throw.

McDermott, as a first-year head coach, is not interested in tanking. He really can't. Had they decided to start Peterman in week one (with a healthy Tyrod) it would have appeared to be a tank. The only reasonable way to insert Peterman is for Tyrod to play himself out of the position. With an offense that's decidedly not Tyrod Taylor's style, that seems to be what's taking place. It looks like a subplot.

Peterman starting may occur sooner than later. McDermott cannot possibly want to waste what appears to be a top defense. McDermott needs to see Peterman play to determine his viability. The change is coming soon.

If they were to start Peterman this year we first must get through the briar patch of defenses. We will see what happens after Denver and Atlanta and the pressure they bring.

  14. Well what did everyone think. Preseason is preseason. Peterman would have been destroyed out there without question.

I'm not sure I agree with this sentiment. He sees the whole field better and is strong in the short passing game. I said this at the end of Roman's tenure here "If they don't put Tyrod in a position to use his legs more, they take away part of who he is. He is a good passer but he does not survey the whole field.
