  1. It's interesting, I'm in the "they should've started flutie" camp, but I wonder if part of the reason the game was so close was that the titans couldn't really prepare for Johnson, vs having tape on flutie all season. I still think they should've started flutie regardless
  2. No thanks for that. price. Rather take my chances with Amari Cooper and the draft or a different free agent
  3. I think this is a good trade for a 5th
  4. How could daboll and shein even entertain this idea? They're picking 4(?) overall I think. Would be an absolute terrible idea. Go get a qb and develop him. The more the giants do the more I'm happy daboll isn't here anymore.
  5. They can still have the same culture. Not saying to go get some trouble makers and thugs, just get some proven play makers that will make an immediate impact. Seriously zgo get myles garret AND max Crosby. Find a way to do it.
  6. I'm gonna say it all year, it's time for the bills to go all in. They have to change up their philosophy a bit. They've been so bad at drafting, that I litterally don't care if they give up half their draft picks to get proven guys here, via trade or free agency.
  7. Man the cap in 05 was 85 mill. That just sounds crazy
  8. So funny reading non bills fans tweets on Shakir. Saying the bills way over paid for a "role player"... Whatever that means. It's a fair deal Imo and super happy he's not going anywhere. He's young and will only get better
  9. Combine starts Thursday right?
  10. I can't agree with this enough. It's been 8 years for McDermott and Beane and we have never had a game changing defensive end. I think Miller was supposed to be that, but obviously didn't work out. I mean honestly how many more years can we just rinse and repeat. It's time to make some drastic moves
  11. I think the 20 offense was way better than the 24 offense. I think the the run game helped balance the offense alot this year. Ironically, or maybe not ironically, I don't think there's a huge difference in the 2 defenses
  12. We need a true number 1. I'm not about getting Higgins, his price is too much Imo, but I am all about trading for someone, and this is on top of getting myles garret. I put very very little stock in the draft and we're picking at 30, so I feel it's unlikely we get a contributing stud at 30 (possible but unlikely). I'm all about trading for difference makers this year. We obviously will still have some draft picks, and if beane is good at anything, it's finding gems in the mid to later rounds. I'm gonna say it, and say it until I see it, but it's time to go all in and make some moves
  13. Is it not? I mean obviously they want their first round picks to be studs, but beane has whiffed on alot of their picks. Especially in earlier rounds. Von Miller and Diggs are the only big name guys they got in free agency or via trade. The Miller contract was questionable from the start. Way over paid, but had he not been injured, it's possible it would've paid off. They have to do something different. Kc is obviously not going away and the defense is failing us year after year
  14. Right, but they have to re think their philosophy a bit. Drafting and signing mid players and getting them best out of them only will get you so far
  15. I think another thing people arnt taking into account is what happens if Allen gets injured. Knock on wood but what happens if he has an acl, or some kind of major injury where he misses most of a season? Does he come back the same player? I'm gonna keep repeating it until it happens, but it's time for the bills to sell out and go all in, at least defensively.
  16. I liked it. I thought it could've actually been a series. Only thing I found a little dissapointing was what was in the gorge, but otherwise pretty original story
  17. Imo, von is gone minus a very team friendly restructure, which wouldn't be a terrible idea
  18. This. 100%. Think about how amazing some of these bills teams have been since Allen got here, and yet only 2 afc championship game appearances, one of which the bills had their a$$es handed to them. They have to rethink their draft/free agency philosophy. Their current philosophy works great when you have a 24 year old qb who can grow into his roll and the team can grow year after year, but it's time to start putting the pedal to the metal so to speak
  19. And I think they'd tell you that there is, but I think their philosophy needs to change a bit.
  20. No, I feel good about them, but Imo its very obvious the defense is this teams downfall(at least in playoffs) . Allen has proved he can carry the offense even with mediocre talent. My point was, the front office has to change up their philosophy a bit and go "all in" per say. Drafting guys and hoping they develop has not worked. At least not with the guys they've drafted in high rounds. Kinkaid, Oliver, elam, rossou, epenessa.. All these guys have had flashes, but they're not game changers. We need guys who can make an impact and not rely soley on Allen. Von was supposed to be that guy but obviously it didn't pan out
  21. I don't want to sound like Debbie downer here, but if we're being honest with ourselves, he'll be 29 this year and probably has 5 or 6 good years left. Typically, qbs start to decline around their mid 30s. Hopefully he doesn't and plays till he's 40, who knows. Not trying to beat a dead horse here, but the bills have to have some urgency here when it comes to winning a superbowl. My confidence is so low in beane drafting guys at this point, that I almost don't care if he trades most of our picks away to bring in proven guys. Obviously this won't happen, and I know beane has drafted some really good players but, I'm sorry I think we're past the point of being able to develop guys from the draft and wait 2 or 3 years and see. Anyways just my Sunday thoughts, need some free agent and superbowl urgency this season
  22. True, though not sure how the dealership would feel about that 😅 whatever though, it's a good deed regardless
  23. I think this is pretty awesome for him, but are we sure he even wanted a car? I work with some guys that take the bus everyday because they don't want to pay for car insurance or gas. Hopefully this works out for him. Pretty cool regardless
