It's the price of success unfortunately. Bills are favored in every single game on their schedule as of right now. The expectations are high. I remember during some of those Losman/Edwards years, they couldn't even sell tickets at $5 per ticket.

Hoping whatever primetime games the bills get this season are spread out a bit. Those first 3 primetime games we had last year were tough for us early birds. If I remember right, it was 3 weeks in a row 😖

UFL football for those undergoing withdrawal

I swear....the first 50 mins of all these games are horrific, and somehow they all end up coming down to the final 2 mins. I have no doubt the refs are helping with this (flags thrown at oppertune times, sounds farmiliar 🙄) but Whatev, I guess it's fairly entertaining. Pretty good bham/Houston game right now -
Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)

Seems very well spoken and very high character. Hoping he has a big impact on the offense -

Was listening to one bills live the other day and from the callers calling in about Moore, you'd have thunk we just traded for Diggs again in 2020😅. People were legit saying he's one of the best in the nfl. I'm all for this signing, and hopefully he becomes one of the best in the nfl, but man, people can be such Homers -
What is your favorite totally random Bills game?
Steptide replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
A few come to mind - rams game at home in 2020, I think that was the game where I realized that Allen was the guy. Raiders in 2011, game before the Patriots game in 2011. Came back and beat the raiders with the last second David Nelson td. Raiders in 2008, probably a totally forgotten game, but won on a last second fg and trent Edwards was electric (🤮) -

I like it. I mean can't be worse than the production Cooper gave us right? -
I assume they're expecting Coleman to make a big jump and kincaid to have a big role. Coleman Imo is 50/50 to be any better than last year. Kincaid hasent been a factor to this point. Hopefully he turns it on this season, I know he had the injury last year, and hopefully that's the major reason for his lack of production. I trust beane and McDermott to know what they're doing, it's not like this team hasent been successful, but not having a true number 1 makes me a bit nervous. Having said all that, the defense on paper looks nasty. Could be the best defense since McDermott got here, and that would be huge. We may not need the offense to put up 30 points a game if the defense is that good. Time will tell

Heard a bit of it. Most animated I've ever heard beane. I think the wr issue is the fact that we saw what Allen could do with beasley, Diggs and Davis. I get beanes argument, they were the top offense in the nfl last year, however, betting on that again I think is a little ignorant Imo. The bills still don't have a true number 1, and that might ok, time will tell, but betting on Coleman and kinkaid and jacobs is a bit risky. Just my 2 cents
-
My theory is, they expect Coleman to make a big jump this year and they have big plans for Kincaid. Coleman is 50/50 Imo to make a big jump. Kincaid needs to make an impact. Either way, we still have no true wr1 which scares me, regardless of how well this offense did last season

Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky

Are the bills seriously comfortable at wr? I feel like they're taking a big risk trusting the guys they have -

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

We took a cb?!? I am shocked. SHOCKED -
Never even heard of the guy
-
If they take sanders, fire that team into the sun
-
And the bills did it three times in the drought years 🤮
-
O linemen taken in the top 10 is the least exciting thing in draft history 😅
-
Watch probably the first hour and go to bed. The draft is the most over rated NFL event ever. It's boring (outside of the bills picks) and incredibly over hyped

Id probably feel different if I had nfl player money, but I feel like I'd never purchase a house at that price if I was only in town for 5ish months. I guess that's the difference between us common folk though

Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)

I like it as long as he's not a starter. He's great depth and maybe he can get back to form to some degree -
UFL football for those undergoing withdrawal
Steptide replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Theoretically, you could bring in nfl players and coaches on the sideline or in the box for interviews and/or coaching for these ufl players. Also, just the fact that these teams are playing in nfl stadiums would draw more attention. Again, they'll never get the draw the nfl does, but these games need a major kick in the rear. I'd also use alternate nfl uniforms. Not the same as nfl, but similar. So some kind of alternate bills uniform that'd at the very least draw interest. I'm not talking throw backs, I'm talking re designs that'd get people talking. My biggest thing though is they need to change the rules. The scoring is so low. Ditch the punting, make it so these teams are putting up more points. -

Took a peak at the games just to see if they're any good. Honestly, they're terrible up until about the last 5 or 6 mins. One of the games I was watching the other week was tied 3-3 in the 4th quarter. It's was terrible, but somehow these games always end up close at the end and they come down to a final possession. I've said in the past and I'll keep saying it, they greatly need to change the rules of this league. Get rid of punting completely. 4 downs for each team, if they can't get a first the ball goes to the other team. Shorten the quarters to 10 mins. 3 hours of ufl football is brutal. Also, I've long said the nfl should get involved on this league. Get these games inside nfl stadiums. They will never draw what the nfl does but there is the possibility of making it watchable and enjoyable.
