What Position in Free Agency Puts Buffalo Over the Top?
Steptide replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Has to be defense, and it pains me to say that. We desperately need a number 1 receiver. Beane/McDermott have failed at developing this defense. Litterally the only position on defense Im confident in at this point is linebacker. Safety is a big question, d line is 🤮, corner backs are a B- at this point. It's actually kinda sad how this defense isn't way better than it is -
One of my bets will win me $2500 😅 highly unlikely to happen, but hey it'll keep me interested in the game

I agree this is a lame superbowl, but the amount of time I've invested in this season, I'm not gonna skip the superbowl, as much as I don't care for either team 🤷

Doing everything I can to make tomorrows game exciting. Made some ridiculous bets, but if I win, it'll be alot of money. I need Mahomes or hurts to catch a pass tomorrow night 😅 In all seriousness though, are we excited to watch this game? It is the last game until September 🤮

Awful coach , however I remember Kyle Williams talking about him and how great of a person he was. Thought of him as almost a grandfather. Prayers to his family. Everything I've ever heard about him is how great of a person he was

I'd be the same. If it was the bills playing, you couldn't pay me enough money to go anywhere except my house to watch it. I've watched bills games at other people's houses over the years and I hate it. I always go back and watch the game again the next day because I miss alot.

Still angry honestly. And as much as I try not to think about it, I find myself thinking about it alot. I think about that final drive with 3 and a half mins left and how cook wasn't out there. I think about how much better that drive could've been and yet, the bills did nothing creative. Buffalo should be playing this Sunday, but the coaching staff failed us once again

They must've had some kinda inkling prior to the award show. It's weird that Josh's parents would be there.
-
Lots of butt hurt people on Twitter this morning that Lamar didn't get it. I had a suspicion Josh was gonna win it when I saw his parents sitting with him, and then they never showed Lamar once last night at the awards. I assume he wasn't even there

Pretty awesome for him, and takes away the sting a little of not getting to the superbowl for us fans... A little

Anyone else for using our draft capital for trades?
Steptide replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe beane and McDermott are trying to win a superbowl, I just think it's time to change the philosophy a bit. It might be time to ditch the whole "trust the process" thing and start getting some big names. -
Prepare For The Bills To Go International Regularly

Thanks for the correction. Still wouldn't surprise me though if they're trying to increase betting world wide -
Prepare For The Bills To Go International Regularly

Wouldn't shock me if they're trying to make betting legal worldwide. I believe it's only legal to bet on nfl in the US, though I could be totally wrong about this -

It scares me when beane and McDermott talk about how even though they haven't won the superbowl they've been successful. It makes me think they'll just keep doing what they've been doing, which is signing mid tier guys and getting the most out of them and drafting guys to develop them. F all that. It's time to go all in. If this season proved anything, it's that they can lose alot of core players and still be competitive. So go all in, win a superbowl, and if the season after we lose some dudes, so be it -
I don't think Diggs getting open had anything to do with scheme. Him being as good as he was, had everything to do with how talented he was. No offensive coordinator has a scheme that keeps wr's covered. I mean do you think Shakir got open because Brady schemed him open, but not Coleman? 90% of it is just the receivers being talented

Still annoyed, but Whatev. I've actually been thinking about the superbowl, I'm rooting for the eagles as I'm sure many are. What I really want though, is the Chiefs to lose in the most heart breaking fashion possible. I'm trying to think of the last time the Chiefs lost in a heart breaking way. I mean, honestly when was the last time? Maybe last year when the bills beat them and Mahomes was crying cuz Kelces lateral didn't count? I legit cannot remember the last time kc lost to a last second fg. Someone refresh my memory
-
Agree with this. It's becoming pretty apparent, the defense is our downfall. I've been saying since we lost to kc that the bills need to hire a legit defensive coordinator
-
I agree but if I had to choose between Samuel and Kupp, I think I'm taking Kupp. Fortunately I don't have to make these decisions though
-
I'd take him yes

How much cap we save 😉
