Gregg Rosenthal says "Make Josh Allen's life easier"
Steptide replied to HerdMenatlity1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You could make the argument that the bills should've taken Metcalf over oliver in last years draft. I like the beasley and brown signings, but past those 2, we don't really have any recievers. I'm interested to see if Duke williams becomes anything, but we still need a few solid recievers. -
Family Dog (Pit Bull) Kills 26-Day-Old Baby
Steptide replied to Gugny's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I didn't read all the replies so I apologize if someone already said somethjng similar, but here goes. Pitbulls ARE good dogs and even better family dogs. Here is the problem with the breed. For starters, it's all too common any time a pitbull injures or kills a person, it makes the news. Dog bites/attacks happen constantly, but the only ones you here about are Pitbulls because they're a controversial breed. I actually used to train dogs part time years and years ago, and I can tell you when it comes to aggression in dogs, it comes in all breeds and sizes. One of the classes I was involved with was aggressive dogs , and I promise you every breed you can think of was in these classes Second issue with Pitbulls is they are way over bred. Go to any shelter in your area and you will see they are filled with Pitbulls or pit bull type dogs. Idiot owners think they can breed their Pitbulls and sell them. This leads to bad breading and bad temperaments and what you end up with is situations like the one posted here. I promise you if golden retrievers were as over run and over bred as Pitbulls, you'd have similar cases as this one. Lastly, anytime you own a dog, especially large breeds, there's a certain level of responsibility you need to take, especially with children. -

The thing that's always surprised me is that McDermott always credits Andy Reid as being a big influence/mentor to him, yet for 3 seasons we've seen a lack of focus on the offense. This upcoming draft really needs to focus on the offense. We need 2 more solid recievers that will be a part of this team for 5 years or longer. I think we're ok at tight end. Get some depth at o line in the later rounds and I think we'll be in pretty good shape for 2020 -
LeSean McCoy wants to retire an Eagle
Steptide replied to sunshynman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right, he's still so good he barely plays with the cheifs. I always liked Mccoy and hope he gets a ring this Sunday, but some guys just can't accept when their play declines -
Cuse has stepped up big time. A month and a half ago I said they wouldn't win a game in the acc, but they've really been good lately. Definitely some stuff still to work on, but I have hope for march

XFL Cutting down on the kicking game.
Steptide replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually think this league may work. One reason is because the teams are based out of the same city's as NFL teams. I remember the league that losman played in (can't remember the name) wanted all their teams outside NFL markets. The president or owner was talking about how they wanted to put a team in Maine. MAINE. seriously cmon. Didn't last more than 1 season -
I've been working in this industry for 20 years. If you live in the northeast, it's not crabgrass. Crabgrass (at least in the northeast) is an annual grass that generally comes up between June-late August depending on weather conditions. The best way to prevent crabgrass is to block it from coming up. Put down a pre emergent for crabgrass in the spring, I'd actually do this twice about 6 weeks apart. Mow your grass tall all season (I mow my lawn at a minimum 4 inches) and start to water BEFORE your lawn becomes stressed and dried out. Crabgrass is one of the hardest weeds/grasses to control, especially once it's fully mature, but it is an annual grass so it doesnt last forever. Generally once Temps get down in the 30s, the crabgrass dies for the season.
