While you're presenting rankings against peers that may have played a handful of snaps all year, I posted objective emasurements that show him as not only being best in class in this year's NFL talent, but also in several cases having an historic season for a CB. Him having 3 modest->poor showings throughout the year (against high end->elite competition, btw) actually goes to prove how incredible his season was. You take away those three games, and he allowed 255 yards across 14 games as the number 1 corner. That's 18 yards a game. It's completely insane how good that is. Try again.

He's got a 90.4 PFF grade He's allowing a passer rating of 60.8 to opposing QBs He leads the NFL in interceptions He set the season record for pick-6es in a season He set the record for INT return yards in a season He's tied for 7th in passes defensed He's allowed only 661 yards in receptions - 38.8 yards a game (One yard more than Surtain) edit: Oh yea, he also had 8 games this season where he allowed less than 10 yards receiving, including 3 games where he allowed 0 or less yards. Good teams don't cry about flags they didn't get. It was a bad decision to throw that ball because the end result was very likely to happen and it did. He could have tackled him lower and it would have been the same thing.

Using both of these coaches, who actually were both head coaches and whose most recent title was Assistant Head Coach are terrible examples to try to bash the Rooney Rule. if you want a token interviewee, Ray Horton would have been a better choice, but then again he was qualified too.

It would be hard to have a drastically worse hire for a team with Super Bowl aspirations than Leslie Frazier. You know with absolute certainty that the guy won't get you there. For a disaster organization just looking to get respectable? Maybe.

It's still wild people are still arguing Allen was legitimately close here. He wasn't in the conversation by a mile and won't finish top 3 in voting. He may not even be top 4. Our defense holds the highest scoring and top yardage team in the league to 14 points - including none int he 2nd half and somehow we call Allen the hero.

He was 15-30, 0 TD, 1 INT, 2 Fumbles, a 53.3 passer rating. He was objectively horrendous.

Harty had one meaningful play all year. Granted it was the most important play of the year, but until game time yesterday he was a lock cap casualty int he offseason and a bust of a pickup. Douglas was an awesome get, but those in the know knew it and it's why he cost a 2nd for a 2 year rental.
