  2. i wonder just where the Mendoza Line is for you.
  3. *ahem* they are only theories until they are proven true.
  4. i don't think casting a vote for O'Biden would be a true protest vote. the best way to protest would be to shun the system and remove yourself from the process. by participating, you are lending a form of validity to a system you believe to be illegitimate. playing their game by voting for either wing of the bird is giving your approval of the uniparty.

  7. i smell a candidacy. AOC's district? Chuck U's seat in '22?
  8. everything O'Biden has today, he owes to Jim Clyburn. had Clyburn not endorsed the demented one, there is a pretty good chance that Burnie would be the presumptive candidate today.
  9. nah. America is sick of your ilk's side show.

  12. i'm thinking we are also going to need an 'explainer engineer' to explain everything to the 'research engineer'.

  18. when i see horseshit like this, it gives the conspiracy theorist in me great pause. it is becoming readily apparent that Joe can't be out in public because the public would understand with greater clarity that this man is just not all there. with this in mind, i believe it reasonable to consider if CV-19 was released on purpose.
  19. not paying your child support? off with your fridge.
  20. i found a bit longer video of this on the Twitter account that @Hedge posted just a few earlier, "I am ToRe". https://twitter.com/scottadamsshow/status/1249472055063568389
  21. sci-fi world, here we come. Doctors use gene editing tool Crispr inside body for first time Scientists say they have used the gene editing tool Crispr-Cas9 inside a person’s body for the first time, a new development in efforts to operate on DNA to treat diseases. A patient recently underwent a procedure at the Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland for an inherited form of blindness, the companies that make the treatment announced on Wednesday. They would not give details on the patient or when the surgery occurred. It may take up to a month to see whether the procedure worked to restore vision. If the first few attempts seem safe, doctors plan to test the technique on 18 children and adults. “We literally have the potential to take people who are essentially blind and make them see,” said Charles Albright, the chief scientific officer at Editas Medicine, a Massachusetts-based company developing the treatment with Dublin-based Allergan. “We think it could open up a whole new set of medicines to go in and change your DNA.” Dr Jason Comander, an eye surgeon at Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston, another hospital that plans to enrol patients in the study, said it marked “a new era in medicine” using a technology that “makes editing DNA much easier and much more effective”. Doctors first tried in-the-body gene editing in 2017 for a different inherited disease using a tool known as zinc fingers. Many scientists believe Crispr is a much better tool for locating and cutting DNA at a specific spot, and interest in the new research is very high. ...
