The NFL has 13 good QBs, ok. Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, Big Ben, all came from one draft. That's nearly 25% of your 13. Unfortunately, we were left with leftover Losman. History repeats itself.

Then show me dude. In the last 17 years, this is not the case. Yes there are a few guys who came out of the second and even third, but it's overwhelmingly the top prospects. Once again, would you bet $50 on 00 green when you can bet $100 on black? The answer is no.

This is under the assumption that there is no way in hell the Giants or Browns would be opposed to trading with the NYJ to pick three. The fact of the matter is, the Jets have a golden key and 3 doors. We have a silver key and 12 doors. We are both looking for the same thing. We do not have the advantage.

The last five out of ten Superbowls were won by high first round picks. 2 of the last ten were won by Tom "Never Going to Happen Ever Again" Brady. Two others were won by Russell Wilson who dropped because he is short (stupid NFL GMs) and Drew Brees (the second QB taken in the Draft, a second round pick, before NFL really became a passing exclusive league). Finally, you have Foles, the guy who will back up a QB taken at 2 by a team that gave up a kings ransom to get him. Some of you don't seem to be interested in winning championships. Some of you think that football is the same game it was the day you were born. Some of you should want better of your team.

Yes, his plan was to have a division rival have a crack at a potentially franchise changing player while we prioritize signing guys off of multiple knee tears and PED suspensions having not played in a year. In the mean time, Vinny Curry is available, who played well LAST YEAR in a similar scheme and would probably have come cheaper. Who is laughing?

Same type of snark comment I got when I said waiting on a QB was stupid in 2004. Same comment I got when I said trading down in the first for a QB makes no sense, it only shows that you know you have them over-valued and if you don't believe in your own pick, then why will they pan out. Same comment I got when I said trading back was a massive mistake last year when we had the choice of Watson and Mahomes AT OUR PICK. Cool, we have Tre White for 3 years until he demands to be paid top dollar in the league and we are still searching for a QB.

How? If we jumped to 3, then we could've leaped over Denver/NYJ. Now, there is a set market (spoiler: Jets overpaid so now we will have to overpay even more) and there are less trade partners. Cleveland will not trade 1. We have one place to move to and you better believe Denver is looking at that spot as well. This is not playing into our advantage at all.

Yeah, huge mistake. If this QB hits. 20 years of Brady, then however many years of this guy. Yep, AJ McCarron though, guys!

See I would rather be the team that tries and fails than the team that goes on 17 year long playoff droughts and refuses to address the most important position in all of professional sports.

In 2004, GMs were still pretty awful at evaluating QBs. Mahomes went top 10 and a team traded up to get him last year. These same guys that were running drafts in the early 2000s said that guy was a second or third round pick. TIMES CHANGE, but the Bills don't.

You can't draft QB so passively. The statistics do not play in your favor. I am referring to 2004 where instead of trading up from where we were, we settled and had to panic to get leftovers. We are sitting in a "get the left overs" position and a DIVISION RIVAL just made a move to change their franchise. We are almost done with having to see Brady 2x a year. I really do not want to freakin have that turn into seeing a potential new stud QB twice a year. We will never win a damn championship prodding out these retread, reject choir boys at QB every damn year.

The Giants would also never let the other team in town get a QB at their original pick. What if he ends up being a stud? The fanbase would implode.
