  1. I hate driving. The vast majority of people driving on the roads today have no business possessing a drivers license. Retesting could help (make a license good for 5 years, retest every 10 years under 55, and over 55 retesting with every renewal). Newer technology may help. My vehicle has adaptive cruise control and that does help on the thruway when I set it. It doesn't do anything for the goof behind me not slowing down when the ACC breaks, but it does help prevent my vehicle from rear-ending someone else.
  2. Judge reduces Oberlin award to $25M.
  3. Meh, she can do what she wants with her sex life (between consenting adults). Where people have issues is that was a stepping stone to advance her career. Who knows, even without the phantom jobs Willie gave her she might still be where she is today. Note: photos makes that all moot. She couldn't politically survive (on a national level) a photo expose of her participating in a swingers party. Americans for the most part, are prudes and that is a bridge too far.
  4. oh yup. You are going to see more and more stories like this, something, anything to make Ds soften on Creepy Uncle Joe. The rigged polls the next few weeks should be interesting.
  5. His campaign staff, of course, denies it:
  6. Kirsten Gillibrand is not a man and she seemed to interrupt every other minute. And then she pontificated and campaigned (toe-may-toe, toe-mah-toe). When people say the "fixing" for the democrats went on in 2016, they should look further back to 2008. The first hand stories (as in it happened to them) about super delegates were threatened by the Obama people to vote for him and not Hillary were written on many on the blogs I was reading at the time. What the DNC did to award some of Hillary's Michigan delegates to Obama when he didn't bother to put himself on the ticket there was another "odd" move. There were a lot of "peculiarities" that went down in 2008 that eventually led to 2016. I often wonder what happened during that Obama-Clinton meeting when she didn't protest and force a floor vote. Clearly she took the SOS job, and my guess is "her turn" in 2016, but what else went down? The world may never know.
  7. Well, this is a take I never considered. I am not sure I agree, but it is always interesting to see the way other people are thinking and what does/does not connect with them.
  8. Uh huh, sure. A likely story.
  9. See the article @Hedge posted on the last page (I also quoted it above).
  10. Eh, the Republicans had a pretty wide field a few years back, and that was with everyone "knowing" Jeb was gonna be the nominee. You just never know... I sat through both nights and last night was far worse than night 1, and I thought night 1 was a ***** show. ?
  11. Here is the original blind (the comments are always interesting) IF those photos exist, she is not the chosen one, and will not be on the ticket. There can't be a drop like that after she gets the nomination. Although, IF they exist, one of her Democratic opponents would drop them sooner.
  12. Yeah, she is a little out there. I hope she makes the cut for the next debate!!
  13. Why in the world would I want to move to a "conservative" country? And whoever listed those as "conservative" really meant "Islamic third world country where women are subjugated". (I do have Egypt on my list for a visit in 2021 though!)
  14. I have said since the start of this thread I think she is the "chosen one". Doesn't mean people will vote for her in the general election. Men do not like women who sound like: their mother, nags, scolds, shrews. Kamala hits a number of those. If she isn't on the ticket (top or bottom), I will be surprised.
  15. I said bunker, not leave the country. Hubby is the one looking for another country. To be fair he mentions it about once a year (for as long as we've been married), and I quickly put the kibosh on that idea.
  16. Well, I watched debate day 2 figuring it could not be worse than debate day 1. I was wrong.
  17. If any of these people win, I am finding a bunker somewhere.
  18. Joe's dentures are slipping, he is slurring... either that or the botox in his face is melting into his mouth.
  19. "Trump doesn't believe in the rule of law!? " Who is this *****tard? Trump is bringing BACK the rule of law after the last 8 (probably 16) years.
