  1. Ratings were up 5% last year mostly due to an increase in offense. The fans that miss the way the game was played in the 70's, 80's, and 90's have to come to grips that the NFL popularity surge didn't happen until the rules started favoring the offense and fantasy became more mainstream in the early 2000''s. For every one old school real fan the NFL loses they'll make up for it with two fans who are watching the SNF game to see if Mahomes can put up four TD's to win their week in fantasy.
  2. Critics always have a hard time grading comedy because it's more subjective. Plus, you only have seven opinions and they may need to up the sample size.
  3. Yup and no complaints about having to play with Anderson, Kolb, and Skelton for three seasons between Warner and Palmer in the prime of his career.
  4. This should be the Dems central campaign message. I'm warming up to him.
  5. Right. That tweet will set the Taliban straight. Thanks for telling all of America you invited the Taliban to a weekend at Camp David a few days before the 9/11 anniversary.
  6. It may actually help the Bills if the Pats are able to sweep the AFC North and beat the Texans/Chiefs.
  7. I think the devil finally sold his soul to Bill Belichick.
  8. They'll just release him and move on as if he wasn't even there. This organization was built to handle players like AB.
  9. Did AB and Belichick meet to devise this plan last summer? I want to sign you without giving away any draft picks. Make it happen AB.
  10. There's that old "monkey see, monkey do" idiom that may apply here.
  11. This is accurate but I feel the closest comparison is Terrell Owens who seemed to have a screw loose (doing pushups in his driveway). Not a perfect comparison but it's the only one I can think of. He also constantly thought he was the victim even after being inducted into the HOF.
  12. He handled that as well as anybody could've. I give him credit for his continued optimism and energy even if he did lose Mack, Cooper, and AB within a year and a half.
