3 years from now we'll still have a superstar qb and they won't. The one big flaw on Cowherd is he waffles around takes every single week. I still think he loves Josh and mentions him constantly on his show with Patty. And I do agree with him that Josh needs to tone down the runs and "inviting contact" style of his. It's the only chance he has to play beyond 35. Manny basically said let Josh do what he does. That's what makes him elite and special. -
Doyle in the 5th and Anderson in the 7th. That's hardly a commitment to improving the OL. Spencer is barely hanging on. We gotta do better. Gotta draft OL higher. Creed over Boogie would've been huge. Let Sean draft his DE'S in the 5th & 7th round where they likely don't even stick after 3 years. If we don't surround Josh with 5 amazing olineman, we'll waste his prime years.

Morse and Basham Out For Chicago Game

Have you seen Rotten snap the ball on shotgun. Josh better bring his shortstop glove. -
Morse and Basham Out For Chicago Game
LABILLBACKER replied to Robert James's topic in The Stadium Wall
Every time we ask Bates to fill in at C he does a commendable job. Unlike Q playing RT. -
That's flat out embarrassing...oh well if he doesn't drop a couple of those pic6's he's in.
-
We need good young olineman who we can develop on rookie contracts. No more dumpster diving behind the Titan loading dock. Saffold, Quessenberry and Van Rotten need to be replaced immediately. And Brown might be next if he doesn't improve his first step on pass protection. Morse might retire after this season? That leaves Dawkins & Bates. If Beane's OL scouts are weak then he better figure it out.

Diggs throwing his helmet and asking for the ball more
LABILLBACKER replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
No way. He's just a passionate and competitive star who saw his team struggle in the 3rd quarter. Josh and Diggs' relationship is unbreakable. Now if the OL could only play with that passion? -
Because of our capacity to man press a fast wr with Elam, very very doubtful :13 happens again. It won't be long till Tre & Elam are the FT db combo. I just can’t watch Dane miss tackles anymore.

Josh Allen doesn’t like Domed stadium supports open air
LABILLBACKER replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh doesn't want an open air stadium...the fans do. He'll say what the fans want to hear. This whole argument doesn't really matter anymore since plans have already been drawn. Our stadium will be open air with an enhanced canopy. Hopefully this reduces the wind. Snow games we'll have an advantage considering the ball will have a better grip than on rainy days. I personally would've preferred spending the extra 400M on a dome. I just don't want to see any weather neutralize Josh's physical abilities. But I totally understand the local sentiment about keeping it open. Won't deny how cool it was seeing that snow in the 4th quarter. -
MVP; Hurts / Allen / Mahomes by the numbers...
LABILLBACKER replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
You give Josh the Philly or KC OL, he'd be way ahead of Hurts or Patty on those numbers. Aside from Dawkins, Morse & maybe Bates, our OL (including depth) is awful. And it has been since 2019. -

This thing is not over yet. Get a couple tds against the Bears and have a huge game in Cincy and all of a sudden the mvp is a dead heat. I think Hurts is missing at least 2 games. -
Josh Allen limited in Tuesday practice
LABILLBACKER replied to Joe Ferguson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup, clearly he can throw but I'm sure there's discomfort. This is why guys like Quessenberry & Saffold have to be upgraded. -
Most if not all of his fumbles now are in the pocket. God knows we need a massive upgrade on 2-3 OL positions. But he's gotta get rid of it before 3 seconds. Better pocket awareness. He has cleaned up the int's.
