  1. I could see Wood being a cap casualty. When we resigned Groy, some got the feeling including myself that Wood days were numbered. We have Lewis at backup Center, who has starting experience. Groy, can play both G and C. Both make significantly less than Wood and are 5 years younger than he is. I like Wood and felt he was playing his best ball before the injury last year on that chaotic Monday night game. Groy stepped in and had a rough go of it during the Seattle game but after that, he played well and the drop off in play wasn't really noticeable. Williams, I think it has been stated previously in this thread that McDermott wanted him back and he is a need for this defense. So Williams getting cut hasn't even crossed my mind.
  2. Interesting point, maybe, Lebron wouldn't be getting 6-0 to 3-5 put in the face everytime the MJ comparisons surface.
  3. They spent 45 minutes yesterday talking about how Schopp had a bird in his house and he didn't know how to get it out....
  4. I thought when he made his transition from pitching to the OF and had that full year with 25 home runs and batted around .260 he would go on to have a solid career.
  5. Exactly, he's not going to come out and be like," Yeah, well I chose to sign here because the wife told me so."
  6. Jeremy Maclin chose to sign with the Ravens because he believes they can build something special Jamison Hensley, ESPN Staff Writer
  7. Rodak reminds of the guy that would still live at home with mom and dad, wear footy pajamas, and get picked on by the neighborhood kids at the age of 40. Also, his LinkedIn profile pic reminds me of a creepy ventriloquist dummy. Mike Alstott ran a 4.74, at 248 lbs but the Buccs had him beef up to 262 lbs at one point. Also was a 6-time pro-bowler, 3-time first team all-pro, and in the Bucs Ring of Honor, very solid career.
  8. Just like a horse or cattle, gets hurt, put it down.
  9. 100% agree, Beltran had some good years with us, but, him looking at strike 3 in a clutch moment will never be forgotten by most including myself. Just turns out he made it worse by running his mouth when he went to the cross-town rivals.
  10. I was just picking the year he played with the Pats, I've used these stats in an argument before stating how Hogan wasn't a different player in NE than he was here, which is the 4th option at WR.
  11. He would've had well over 3,000 hits, close to maybe 800 home runs, 2,200+ RBIs, and probably 1-2 more Glode Gloves making it 12 total.
  12. Yeah, it was. Also, won the WS MVP and batted close to .400
  13. Ray Knight Yeah was only game 6 though, I mean people remember that moment but still had another game to make amends. No doubt, that turned the tide for the entire series.
  14. Mookie would've beaten him to the base anyways! One of the few things I can hang over the Boston fan bases head being a Mets fan.
  15. Charles Barkley (always catching flack from Shaq and Kenny for never winning an NBA title, for a guy at 6'5 and be the top 10 in rebounds at the time he retired, he was a beast), Carlos Beltran (looking at strike 3 in the NLCS, that Mets team was good and was missing Pedro and El Duque who throughout the season their 1 and 2 in the rotation, as a Mets fan I can tell you the fan base will never forget him looking at strike 3) Ken Griffey Jr (never winning a WS and injuries derailing his career during his prime, he would've broken Aaron's record IMO), and I would watch Yankees games when they played the Mariners just to watch him.
  16. Christian Hackenberg https://twitter.com/danielrpopper/status/874687867519467520
  17. I think Clay is safe, as he is an asset to the running as much as he is to the passing game. I like O'Leary and was happy when we drafted him, but, I've read and seen tweets about grumblings from the coaching staff about not being happy with the current state of the Tight Ends.
  18. I'm not worried, maybe, he enjoys wearing it as part of his aesthetic
  19. These are the two guys I would like the Bills to pursue if they are released at the end of the preseason. Especially Quick, he is a big body receiver.
