  1. And defensive mechanisms to bash Allen by some to protect opinions of other guys they preferred????? What everyone should know, anyone that is objective about things, are that: 1. All rookie QBS tend to struggle, even the ones that turn out to be great HOF types. Aikman himself last night talked about how much he struggled as a rookie. 2. As much as folks talk about how it's all having a QB in the league, you have to have other parts such as a functional offensive line and decent receivers. Rookies who are already struggling to adjust to the NFL game have even more trouble doing so when the rest of the team around them is lacking in ability.
  2. Tell you what. Go back and watch every passing play of the first half of the Texans game like I did. Then we can talk. Until then you're just blowing hot air. The offense has a lot of issues other than just the QB. You know that. You're smarter than that. Or at least I thought you were until this kind of stuff.
  3. I think Rosen and all the other rookie QBs will eventually become long term starters in the league. None of them necessarily great HOF types, but all will be solid
  4. I was too harsh. My apologies.
  5. Good God. I talk about this a lot, but you actually are another one with the inability to read. Where exactly have I said he's been good this year? Answer: nowhere. He looked awful against the Pack, but you can see progress since. he's getting the ball out quicker, last week he was more accurate. It does not mean he's good yet, or that he's played well so far. We should be talking about his future, because he is a rookie QB drafted to be the future.
  6. I liked Watson. I was disappointed they didn't take him. I watched last week. He didn't play well. Now tell me exactly how my wanting Watson last year is in any way useful.
  7. Watch the plays. Go back like I did and watch each play. He's making progress. Still has a long way to go but he's making progress. Like rookies do. And by the way, differing opinions are neither right nor wrong. They're just different. I think I was one of them. If they are playing well and winning you keep playing Anderson and let Allen watch and learn
  8. Yes, One game. That shows he's making progress over the other 3 games he started. That's 4 starts. And you want to say he's awful based on that. Ridiculous.
  9. Temporarily. Let's say this slowly for all: Allen. Is. A. Rookie. Rookie. QBs. Have. to. Learn. I know you know this bang; it's more directed at some of the other guys around here that think Allen should be the second coming of MArino this year.
  10. I didn't say that, and now you're just being a fool. Allen is progressing, just like any of the other rookies. All these rookie QBs will have ups and downs as they learn the position. Quit acting like an idiot.
  11. And there could have been an earth quake that swallowed up the entirety of WNY and then we'd have nothing to complain about. This kind of hindsight stuff is useless.
  12. Go back like I did and watch each offensive play against the Texans. You will see he got the ball out quicker, was more accurate than earlier games. No denying it if you actually watch.
  13. I live just north of Indy in a suburb called Carmel. If you need any advice on places to go, etc. let me know. Hope to see you Sunday morning!
  14. It is a simple theoretical. Nothing more.
  15. You and your bunny SoTier are a never ending source of sunshine around here.
  16. That's a huge if of course, but you go with the hot hand and let Allen learn and develop his mechanics more
  17. Well, stayed up for a bit to see Rosen. Tough night for him but part of the learning curve. One thing though: they faked the run-pass option several times. Do they think any defenses seriously believe Rosen is a threat to run? night all
  18. Well, one thing going around is their OC might get fired after this performance. Guy named Mike McCoy. As I recall he was a very piular name for our OC last year.
  19. Tough night for the kid. Learning experience
  20. Kid's having a tough night. But he'll learn from it. Mayfield had one last night. Allen against the Pack. And I refuse to look at anything Jets related but I'm sure Darnold has too.
