That offense will be hard to contain.....if Gronk stays healthy, no AFC team will come close....and their D is solid....here comes their 15th division title, 12 AFCCG, 8th SB.....6 Lombardi.....groundhog day........yawn....business as usual in Foxboro.... The nightmare will end eventually...right ?...it has to...... And their defense was #1 in the NFL in points allowed.......wooohooo...good times for Bills fan.....ugh...

That's true...but I think Cleveland wants to skip the 2-3 years it usually takes a college QB to get up to speed with the NFL game ( Dak last year is the exception, not the rule )...JG is ready now.....

Jimmy G, IMO, is a different animal than Cassel, Hoyer and Mallet...He was a 2nd round pick...what was Cassel ?...7th round ?.....he broke all of Romo's college records....has very limited playing experience, but learned behind Brady in one of if not the most complex offensive system in the league.....I remember BB saying last year how having JG back there was a seamless transition from Brady.....and in that very limited playing time, he looked very good....either way, it's bad news...1) he's leaving and NE gets a crap load of picks...2) he stays and NE has a very QB for the next 10 years.... If I'm Cleveland, I do give them a 1st and a 2nd.....Dropping a 1st round pick on a college QB is more of a risk than getting Garappollo.....

I'm really glad we got rid of the Ryans and look forward to see what coach McD brings. I am confident that he'll be much better than the horror show we saw last year...... The one thing that doesn't change however, is that just like the last 16 years, we are likely looking at a WC spot...competing with 12 teams vs 3 is a much taller task.

Belichick runs that team on a whole different level....2 quick examples.....Dion Lewis, against Houston, was the 1st ever player to score TDs in a playoff game by rushing, catching and returning kicks ( 3 TDs ). He also fumble in that game...instead of patting him in the back for his TDs, BB had him carry a football all week long at the facility....meeting, locker room, hallways...and he instructed the other guys to try to take it away from him.....the other example that struck me was the Monday after the Superbowl...BB mentioned that his team was 5 weeks behind most other team on the 2017 season....the guy just freaking won the SB and less than 24 hours later, he's moved on to the next one.... That is the kind of intensity we need to compete with those guys....and of course, Brady to retire....

To be fair, they weren't healthy......Brissett had a busted thumb and could barely hold the ball when they played us..there were even talk about Edelman starting.....he went straight to surgery after the game....

That's quite the take.....Belichick is 10X better than Rexy was.....he's regarded as the best in the league by his peers and other NFL insiders...

They most likely will lose Logan Ryan, but their secondary with Gilmore, Butler and McCourthy will be solid.....

If Houston lands just a so-so QB, with that defense, they'll be contenders......

They put the 1st round tender on him...there's still a good chance he plays for NE next season....2018, on the other hand, is a different story.....

It's still big for me...which is kinda sad....NE not winning the SB is what my NFL season has turned into.....

As Bills fans, we are obviously focusing on Gilmore leaving us for NE......but I'm more upset about them replacing M. Bennet with D. Allen for practically nothing.....it's like the Colts haven't been beaten enough by them.....the 2 TEs set ( if Gronk stays healthy ) will be in force again in Foxboro....

I'm just happy the decision is finally made.....I'm not a huge TT fan, but he probably was the best option right now....Let's see what he does this season and re-evaluate afterwards...

Good point....although time is on our side now more than 2008.....

We've been saying this since 2008.....he was 2nd in MVP voting last year....I'm not holding my breath on his demise....2-3 years left of Brady IMO......

I give Belichick more credit than you do....IMO, he is bar none the best coach in the league and one of the best ever....he was the defensive master mind behind Parcells Giants, brought Cleveland to the playoff....Cleveland !! ....and has now dominated the NFL for 16 years....Brady helps of course, but BB is in a class of his own....
