  1. not excited about taking too big shots on 3 yards to go Nice D
  2. that was kind of the narative that folllowed diggs to buff from miny..that miny treated diggs like garbage. Seriously...??....i mean like really? you forgot the two ints and strip sack for a td as well. 😛
  3. I like Ingram a lot, def more than cam. I just never understood why they dont use Elam to his strengths. Plus for the snaps he has played this year...he has graded out excellent.
  4. limit Nico then deal with the rest. get constant pressure on stroud. find holes on offense....run the ball. set up a passing game in the process. Now after watching some things Balt did on D last week i wonder why we dont use Kiar more in man coverage along with some zone on the field at the same time.
  5. Since we need somthing postive to think about going into this game and since a lot of rookies are going to get a chance to step up this game...I thought i'd bring up Cole Bishop. Being from utah I really like utah players and even with being a smaller school we have put out some excellent Defensive players. I watched the cover one film break down on him against the Ravens. He played fairly well, made some very heady plays where you could see both his physical attributes and the processing part of him. one play he seen the guy coming into to block him on his way to Derek, he slowed down to take on the block and keeping his head on derek waited for him to get to him and then broke off and wrapped Derek and dropped him to the ground. so after this I went back and looked at his 23 year highlights. There you really see his speed and physical play. He caused numerous forced fumbles from hitting the receiver or rb. he is also a very good pass rusher and had some decent sacks along with some amazing interceptions, dude has some good hands. It really pops on film just how fast and physical he is. For Bills fans that have been saying we need bigger faster players on D he fits the bill all around. Beane stepped up very well to provide in this instance what we have been clamoring for. I think we will see once he gets more exp in this system that he will be playing faster and more physical still.
  6. Nico is a beast. bracket him and take your chances with the rest
  7. look at how much space defenders were giving jags wrs.....tonssss. hard to make plays when you have to run 10 yards after the catch. i dont mind coverage but not the call me when you get there type of coverage we played last week
  8. look for the soap on a rope. *pro tip
  9. It was odd when all season every wr we brought in played the same positon for the most part.. Hell we even took kindcaid to play in the slot. there is nothing wrong with small ball....except you need more than one identity and small ball only works for so long without the threat of something deep. but alas....we'll see what happens.
  10. while your in there watch the longest yard...preferably with burt reynolds. 😀
  11. you ever watch a netflix series and the first season or two is so good and your like..wow! and then things start getting crazy..and then things go completely off the rails. that was Daboll. That being said I think coleman and shakir, knox and kincaid would have flourished with early Daboll.
  12. there have been quite a few of these players that were on the market late and signed for cheap and really made a diff for the team that signed them. mean while we gave the same or just slightly less for players that were mostly duds. All i can figure is alot of these older vets just dont want to come to buffalo late in their careers. for a while we were so good at stretching the field....then we got this small ball mentality in our heads. I was hoping things would change with Brady... and it has a little bit but it seems when things are the hardest we go into a small ball shell.
  13. i have a feeling the coaching staff got taken to the woodshed after last week. McD was not happy afterwards. plus..its a wake up call for players that hey..your not invincible. no one is going to just give you the win..well maybe jax.
  14. sounds like the person signing and the person utilizing arent on the same page.
  15. seems like we handicapped our TE's by putting them in the same position we would put our small quick recievers in. doesnt matter to much to the defense who is in the short/intermediate role if you know someone is going to be there. but if your not using your TE's to stretch the field, then it just makes it that much easer to contain the short intermediate routes. we'll see going forward if things evolve or if its still a flawed offense.
  16. Tonight is one of the reasons I hate just shutting down when we get a decent size lead. yes u dont want injuries but its a good time to practice things, get some of our other wr involved that havent seen much play time. I just look at it like free time do get extra practice and time to fine tune some things.
  17. one of the best throws of his career. To bad that was about the only highlight of the game.
  18. maybe im not remembering correctly and im not entirely disagreeing with you about how you play lamar but the game we knocked him out..that was due to pressure. and it seems like we did that a lot that game.
  19. THAT pretty much was the game in a nutshell.
  20. a few pretty b.s actions that baltimore got away with. the nfl's desire to protect players is all over the place.
  21. I feel like Babbich either thought we could get pressure with out blitzing or that our 2ndary would hold up. Feel like during half time McD probably said hey...time to do something different we have always played jackson blitz heavy before.
  22. Actually I was going to mention that and then forgot. they showed it during one of the replays. i was shocked they didnt catch it or saying anything during the broadcast.
  23. not sure why we decided to go all passive agasint baltimore to start out with. normally we bring house over and over, maybe because of henry..idk. but in the 2nd half we were gettin pressure and having results. do we have a D line?.... where was Ed? where was Von? I seen Groot in the run game but that was about it. some good plays from new comers and rooks on D. how is it no matter what we called....which its really hard to say because the camera never does a down field view most of the time, but few times it did... we had no one past the line of scrimmage. anyway.... no matter there was tight coverage yet our secondary left 10-15 yard cushions I thought the play calling looked a lot like Dorsey. some dirty plays from the Ravens. the fingers to the eyes of kincaid and then humphries slamming josh way after he had gotten rid of the ball. I thought that should have at least...at the least...been a penalty.... (thanks brady for that play) Maybe the 0-line can quit reading its own press clippings and get to work because they got their ass kicked today. way to many free runners coming after Josh. All in all bad coaching, maybe they took baltimore to lightly during the week. I'm Glad this happened early in the season. Its a good wake up call to players and coaches. wake up and get your ***** together. Anyone that says if you have a good offense you dont need any window dressing...i call b.s. So many of the Ravens offensive play calls had some type of twist or misdirection or something to get it just a little bit of an edge and it worked. Hopefully Brady didnt get Allen killed and he will be ok next week. Final thoughts... Bean should get taken to the woodshed for rolling with Bass..I dont care how much history he has with the team..his leg is done. might as well just designate some player to play back up qb and have an extra player take trubisky spot...he's worse at qb than bass is as a kicker.
