maybe it wasnt smart to bring in 10 guys whos position was best suited for the slot and ignore everything else.

yeah but his role was never to be a #1 TE , his role was to be a blocker and he has got allocades this year for his blocking.

I think they figured they could come out and force the ball down everyones throat, while keeping the other teams offense off the field. that was the identity they wanted.. you can see they have no idea how to stretch the field right now... (makes me think thats not where the focus is at practice) but...teams have got wise and adapted. Had The D been called in the first half like it was in the second it might have been a different game but still..... the D stepped up and did its job and the O had plenty of chances....they had 1 1/2 qtrs to score 10 points. they made some of the dumbest decsions at the most important times and it cost them the game. thats not on the D. its mind boggling. it also starts with the best players and their arent that many of them to begin with. At least he stayed healthy.....seems like he was playing really good this year..but man.... like so many of our draft pics, takes years to develop

i look at it like..who is coaching him up?..Brady? what does Brady know that Josh doesnt already know? then you have ronald curry, the qb coach...who was with Brady at the Saints, when they were both assistants.

they bring in multiple speed guys though...they have no clue how to use them... we have been through a ton of them and always blame the player, maybe it isnt always the player

Thats exactly whats happening and well put. You can only bleed talent for so long and still succeed. The Bills are reaching the critical zone. There is a chance the D can pull things together enough to hold on....(IF) the offense could pull its own weight but i have less faith in that.

I will say...the D played their hearts out in the 2nd half. The offense did them zero favors

Brady pretty much go the job because it was in the middle of a season and his predecessor was horrible. He kept his job because he didnt suck as bad as his predecessor and the bills didnt really want to actively have to hunt for someone else. As soon as teams started figuring out his play calling he has looked worse and worse.

i watched one of his routes they actually showed. he ran vertical and then angled into the receiver...had he angled to the center of the field he would have been wide open... i think a lot of the routes make no sense. all the little intricasies and nuances of route running and planning are not being introduced during week and it shows on the field

i dont think its going to matter who we bring in on O unless your doing a total revamp. Im at the point where unless the players are pretty much good enough to run the show regardless of play calling, it isnt getting done. Bring one good player in and teams will bracket him and the O will still go no where. i think he is stil on IR.. with the knee

the bills had i think 5 drives in the second half. the first one that was scripted and looked good. then you see the break down in play calling. how many times does brady make the worst possible decisions on short yardage when its a must have. I do wonder though, since i believe that Brady is relying mostly on his players to make plays for him that after last week his offensive game plan was to throw the ball to kincaid as much as possible. Then Kincaid got injured and he had no clue what to do. As soon as the offensive line starts getting blitz they look like a total crap show.

exactly..i was going to say the exact same thing. I think in college he had an elite offence to rely on.. before buffalo im pretty sure he's came out and said he didnt do the play calling in carolina but either way... he got fired and carolina fans werent that impressed. when he came to buffalo the said he let the players decide what plays they wanted to run. Just seems to me that he was way to raw for the position and thought he could ride the josh allen coat tails.

where's all the people saying that the offensive is just playin with people and can turn it on whenever they want?

looks to me like during the week what ever they are practicing isnt getting the job done. he's got more talent wr/te than babbich has dbs/lbs

why do we never see knox on the side line? why do so many deeper routes turn into the defender rather than away from?
